That Is If it had any Moral at all. So what does this episode Teach Little girls? That if someone doesnt Want to be their friend they shoukd annoy that person Until he becomes their friend or Until that person Gives them a Restraining Order? Also I found Pinkie to be very annoying in that episode

Quoting straight from the Wiki here, buddy;

"As Pinkie leaves, she muses on her note to Princess Celestia: While some friends may enjoy playing and laughing together, some may just like to be left alone, which is fine too. Whatever the case, one of the best things about friendship is being able to make one's friends smile."

Yes, I agree with Sketchi and Rainicorn. The lesson was made to teach that not all friendships can be made right away. Sometimes they need to be left alone, and if that's what makes them happy, that's what you should do.

What they all just said.

Plus, Pinkie did reunite him with his long-lost mulefriend after his...what...50+ years of searching for her, so that gave the episode some bonus points.

P.S. - I was expecting Cranky to throw a TNT-barrel at Pinkie at some point (brohoof if you get the reference).

The moral was not bad.

I believe that everyone wants friends but, for some, it may take some time to warm up to them. Like, you can't just overhelm people all of the time. For Cranky, he just needed his space. Once Cranky was finally reunited with Matilda, he accepted Pinkie Pie's friendship request, but Pinkie, being the hyper, overexcited pony she is...well...it's self-explanatory.

It was much better to write it that way then with the original script. Audiences didn't respond well to Cranky getting the restraining order against Pinkie, They felt that ended the ep on a downer.

While I get the moral they were trying to teach, and I agree with it, it was not conveyed well. Pinkie never let up on Cranky, even after her friends told her he probably wants to be alone and after she embarrassed and annoyed him several times. The only reason she ended up his friend was because the writers made it so his long lost love JUST SO HAPPENED to be in town.

I like the episode, but that was a bit iffy.

The episode itself was by no means perfect but the lesson itself about not everybody wants to be your friend is a good one. I would like to see an episode though where nothing Pinkie Pie ever does makes the particular individual she is stalking her friend of course all I ask in that is this individual does not become another Gilda where they are somehow scapegoated as the ultimate evil.

I saw it as Pinkie learning to listen. Cranky had a problem that couldn't be solved by bombarding someone with party cannons. Pinkie's biggest character flaw has always been that she can't communicate with others. Nobody understands her most of the time, even when she knows something critically important, like how to get rid of parasprites, she can't get anyone on her side. There's a huge disconnect between Pinkie and the rest of the world. A Friend In Deed forced her out of her comfort zone. It dug into why Pinkie does what she does. And when her bag of tricks isn't enough, she's forced to go back to the basics: find out what would make Cranky happy. This is a big step for her, because although her parties are always fun, they're not always appropriate, or what her friends want. Take Gummy's birthday party, it's clear that the other 5 were out of step, as much as they enjoyed it, there were still awkward moments because the party wasn't for them. It was for Pinkie. And that's the problem she has with Cranky. At first she refuses to respect him, to listen to him, instead doing what she wants to do. And it doesn't work. The moral for her is that it's not enough to simply give someone a smile and then walk away. That's not helping others, that's being selfish, donating just enough of your time to make you feel like a good person, without regard for the person you're helping. Pinkie learned that doesn't cut it. You have to genuinely care about the person, and you have to do what they want instead of what you want.

I disagree, the whole episode Pinkie was just being friendly and she desperately wanted to make things right at the end of the episode; I think you're taking the morale a little too literally.
