Hello everypony, and welcome. The basis for this thread is exactly as the title suggests: I'm looking for inspiration. You're probably wondering for what purpose would I need/use this inspiration, or why I would be looking on a pony forum for a muse. Well, it's simple, really.

 

I want to get back into song writing. And I need something to be inspired about.

 

So please, dig deep into your virtual pockets and please, PLEASE, post your OC's for me or write me something about your OC and I might just use it in a song and sing it for you.

 

Plus, if I really like your OC, there is potential for some free digital art to come out of it for you

Serpony (serpent and pony )is the official term that I like to use. You could say Snake Pony as an alternative along with Naga Pony and/or Lamia Pony.

Well mine's not too good but I'll post it anyway, because reasons.

 

So his name is Sky Chaser (original, right?), and he's a Pegasus from Las Pegasus. Quick bio in link.

 

So basically the inspiration would be despite any personal loss and failure (sucky dad, parents separated), you don't have to let it impact your future. It's corny, but you know: The sky's the limit! Unfortunately, you have to get off your butt and chase it if you want to follow your dream.

As my username says, his name is GreenBlade

(I haven't made an OC thingy on the Forums yet, so I'll have to tell you his backstory and stuff here )

 

Backstory: (A little grim)

When he was little, he and his family got taken to the Rainbow Factory.

He worked there a few years until he couldn't take it anymore. He had to get out of there.

He spent months making a sword in case he "bumped into" guards. After everything at the Rainbow Factory, he got skilled with blades. He was pretty young to take care of himself, but he got a house and job. He kept the blade, which he stored far away, only where he knows where it is. But still he thinks about what he did back there, and cannot forgive himself.

 

If it was hard to understand what I was talking about, I'm sorry, I'm not English. (And my OC haven't got the best backstory and everything.)

Thanks, picking colors is one of the best parts of making an OC, in my opinion! Unfortunately I can't draw to save my life.

 

If you end up making a song, whatever genre I'll listen to it and love you for the rest of my life appreciate it a lot!

Personality :

 

He is Serious, Honest and Silent, maybe a little Introverted, but he lightens up around Roaring Rhythm and friends. He deeply cares about and is very protective of his closest friends.

Nightraxx has a good sense for emotions, he can somehow feel when someone is angry, sad or happy. This comes from his year-long experience with meeting people and making people feel good with his music.

 

Here's a little Backstory :

 

Nightraxx was originally born in the Dark Small Town near Hollow Shades, but as he grew, he quicky became annoyed with Small town life and so his family moved to nearby Manehattan.

That's where he really became fascinated with city nightlife and the Night itself. He also llked to create and play Music as long as he can remember. But one reason he finally became a musician, was because of a tragic event in his school time. By the time he finished Highschool, he already was a reknowned DJ in Manehattan.

Through his passion for Music and playing in Manehattan Clubs, he also met his now-best-friend Roaring Rhythm, with whom he now runs an own Label and travel all around Equestria, mostly in the Nightclubs of Manehattan, Baltimare and Los Pegasus to make people dance and party with their Music.

BackStory: He was a student of a wizard college (Being forced to go by his parents) where he absolutely hated the classes until one day he got his Cutie Mark. Of course hating the school and everything that has to do with it He figured this was a curse of some kind so he left the college now he spends his days trying to fix his Cutie Mark. He is always looking for some type of spell to fix his cutie mark.

 

Personality: Stubborn, sarcastic,  friendly and hates being called be his Full name ( preferred to be   just call almar)

Personality: For this thread I think I may stay with one side of her personality, she switches quite often between a whole range of moods and other such things but but for this... She is very dark and slightly meancing, even though her heart is in the right place she may seen slightly evil or the beaten down hero kind of way, she see's thing in the bigger picture and knows that she IS just a small thing and not really all that important, yet she does act slightly cocky and does things in a totally big, bad ass kind of way

 

Maybe you could do something with her backstory but That will take another post and I don't want to make such a massive post to clog up the thread
