Yes, I've had people saying this was a problem.  Just refresh the website, it'll eventually load up so that you can view it like everyone else.

I am really quite impressed with Sony's presentation and the assortment of games they decided to showcase. I'm also relieved that they decided to not follow in Microsoft's footsteps by not implimenting some kind of "always online" DRM and continuing the old used game model. Big crowd reaction as well to that announcement, you can really tell how much gamers care about these kinds of restrictions.

 

I can't wait for Nintendo Direct tomorrow, but hats off to Sony for a good show.

You can just tell how easy Microsoft made it for Sony. All Sony had to do was say they aren't making the same fuckups as their competitor, and the crowd went nuts and rushed to pre-order a shitload of PS4s.

I liked the Rayman Legends bit, Plant vs Zombie warfare looks fun to play, HUGE fan of Dragon Age so you can expect my reaction of the trailer of the third game........though disappointed it got delayed a year, and finally Project Spark looks interesting.

Well, after watching the E3 coverage, Microsoft shot themselves in the foot for the second and last time, especially with the exorbitant price of $499. Sony, on the other hand, had shown a reasonably good price of $399 and that the PS4 allows them to play used games, rather than paying up. Furthermore, unlike Xbox One, you're able to play games without the worry of online connectivity being mandatory. So in the end... PlayStation 4 is now my Christmas wishlist, and another thing I want for Christmas, is Xbox One singing inside the grave.

This... is surprisingly accurate to exactly what happened.  That Tom Clancy game looks phenomenal and I can't wait for Rayman Legends to come out.  But, there are a few points you missed.

 

• Microsoft's implied rape joke.
• The fact that Microsoft showcased mostly teasers while Sony showcased gameplay.
• Microsoft's teasers also lost audio in TWO of their showcases.
• Steven Spielberg is STILL confirmed to do the Halo televised series.  Not sure why the have to keep telling everyone that.  Are they afraid people will forget?
• Sony is allowing self-publishing on their console.  No word on what Microsoft is doing. 
• Microsoft's getting Minecraft!  Again!  Just... without any of the mod support and texture packs...  But it's slightly better than the 360 version!
• Xbone is going to be $499.99, or £429.99.  PS4 is going to be $399.99, or £349.99.
• Sony is enforcing the PS4 paid subscription to their PSN+, so to play multiplayer, you need to be a member.  But for everything else, you don't need that.  They'll also still be giving away free games as usual.

Kotaku spotted it in one of their videos that was missed by just about all of the viewers.  It's not the worst thing I've seen, seeing as I'm surprised Sony hasn't implemented on for so long.  Hopefully, it'll come with an improved experience (which I'm assuming it does).

I would leave that out for now just because they are waiting for confirmation from Sony as in it's a rumor but even still, PS+ offers so much stuff and it's not like Xbox didn't made you pay to play online. Though the video did say that in fine print, this was a video to poke at microsoft

 

 

 

I looked back into it, it's true I guess BUT you get so much stuff for paying less than 5 a month, it's really no big deal and now they can have better servers and it will help alleviate the cost of the $400, I mean who doesn't want discounts, exclusive access to betas, and free games every month? Plus it keeps certain things from creating new accounts. The most you lose is 3 bottles of soda from the store.

Can't say i'm heavily impressed by today's show, not too much did interest me game wise and xbox one as a console is a total disaster. Good games perhaps but the bad outweighed the good in this case.

 

Looking forward to tomorrow when Nintendo enters the fray with their lineup. It's going to be interesting to see and hopefully impress me as well. Don't let me down, Nintendo.
