Why have I never seen this thread before?

 

Well I could post all sorts of things. There is of course the old MLPForums Extranet server stuff, the majority of which I made on my own. Ill put those pics here.

I love building random shrines deep underground out of diamond blocks, obsidian, and lava. I've also built numerous castles and fortresses. My greatest creation is a giant steampunk looking airship that I built on a survival world that later got deleted by accident... that was the point where I just ragequit and I haven't really played it since.

If only I had a picture of my submission build for MLPF's server, which was a replica of Carrot Top's house. I got right in on the Equestria project because of that, so I was natually proud of it.

from an Iron skyscraper with 15 storys...to a WIP of a Minecart/railroad system.

 

and various random buildings...

I haven't been playing minecraft in a while, but I have two creations I am particularly proud of.

 

My first is a 1:1 scale model of cinnibar island. The overworld and the buildings are all built to scale as they are in the games. The problem I had was that obviously the buildings were smaller on the outside than the inside. To fix this, I used command blocks to teleport people When they step on pressure plates in front of the appropriate door. The cinnibar mansion was a pretty big challenge to build in itself as well, especially trying to visualize how the floors overlapped.

 

My second was inspired by the city of ember. Its basically an underground village I expanded a fair bit with a light system that keeps all mobs from spawning (and yes, just like the book, they can be turned off.) The villagers inside are completely walled in, safe from the outside world. The only entry and exit is a convoluted minecart path that I built with pistons and such. There is also an artificial skylight system that makes it look like a natural sky when I choose to toggle a switch.

Unfortunately alot of the stuff I build gets removed due to server map resets and stuff but alot of things I build are mainly underground I just like the fact that you can live in survival while staying underground its even better when your in tekkit and can build self sustaining factories I guess its because I'm a big fan of fallout I'm always building vault/stable like underground structures

I have many creative worlds, I mostly just build random things I feel like building. I am currently building a city with tall buildings and such, I enjoy it!

 

This is the first thing I have ever built in it, still unfinished.

I made a fully functional, easy-reset connect 4 game. I don't currently have a picture of it, but I could get one later. If anyone wants to check it out, I'll see about getting a download for the map.

 

I also made an Alagaiesia map using WorldPainter.

This isn't gotta sound as impressive as half the stuff on here, but I'm proud of it nonetheless. I built this cool little house in the side of a mountain hidden in a jungle with half a water mount surrounding it. Buut unfortuntely I got lost and now I sort of can't find it anymore so I've been building on and off a new house that's gonna more of a castle...thing. xD;

Well I think I"ll be going through all my worlds on Xbox and finding what I built....I've also been building some new stuff in a new world, which has some new things added to it.Though some of the stuff I've built are on friends worlds.

I don't play the PC one that much because of it being laggy, but here is something I did on the Pocket Edition. This world I ended up naming it Canterlot.

I did start to build my apartment building that I live in, but I never finished. It has 13 floors and I don't know what the layout is for the other apartments and that's a problem.

So here's what I've built in the last few days. Mostly Bridges. I don't know why, but I just love building bridges in Minecraft.

working on a new project again, started out as one thing, and turned into something different. I'll post pics when it's finished/near completion. I'm building it on a whim...so I may never be done with it. lol. It's huge though. and has taken me 4 hour so far, and I'm not even half done.....

I play raid servers so I try to build a indestructible base.  :okiedokielokie:

Although I certainly improved over the months, I don't think any base can be indestructible other than using bedrock.

Because most servers have obsidian breaker and even bedrock breaker.

My base design in most servers is like this - (Numbers are the layers)

 

1.  8x8 Inside core vault of obsidian (where i store all my chests)
2. Covered with water to protect from TNT
3. Covered the water with another layer of obsidian
4. Covered with water again.
5. Covered with obsidian.
6. Covered with water again.
7. Covered with obsidian.
8. Fences to protect people from sand cannoning it.
9. Cobble monster the whole base to make it a pain to get through

Sorry no screenshots, I quit minecraft after the 1.6 update.
