Why must MLP porn exist, why!?!?!? This is an innocent, light hearted kid's show and people just have to create R18 media of it, why!?!?!?

 

Even when I just simply search for, lets say Fluttershy on Google Images (and yes, I have the explict results filter on), I only have to scroll down a few inches to find some lesbian porn of her. This really pisses me off because I the porn just completely cuts me off from the normal, adorable artwork of her.

 

I tried blocking it using adblock but it just creates a grey rectangle in it's place and if I click on it it will just expand the picture and show it so it's pretty much useless.

 

I also tried installing an anti porn add-on but it didn't work.

 

If there's anything, ANYTHING, that will disable me from viewing these then I will be eternally grateful!

 

P.S. I'm using Google Chrome so don't go giving me any FireFox solutions.

places like derpibooru and deviant art have good filters in place. my guess is you have the option to alert google that adult content is making it through their filters and you should do to ammend and fix those breaks in their system. that would fix it for everyone.

you mean rule 34 but yes you are otherwise correct. you cant get mad at the internet for working as designed. every fandom makes some r34 art. there just happens to be an avid clop community.

This is exactly why I don't use any internet search engine to find non-r34 MLP images. The safesearch isn't always successful, and people will always find ways around it.

 

If you want to look for normal pony art, may I suggest searching on DeviantArt? It's possibly the most active art site on the web from what I know, and I heard the explicit filter there is very effective.

Sometimes, you cant do anything about it. Even if you disable it, it is still going to pop up, and people will continue to "clop". The best thing to do is is look the other way (Sorry if a bit much, just watched necessary ruffness)

I'm afraid you'll just have to get used to it.  As long as there are ponies, there will be pony porn.  Generally, I think people are pretty good about not shoving it into other people's faces, but seeing those kinds of images pop up on google images is a little annoying.  Otherwise, I'm usually able to ignore it.

Part of me knows how you feel. I was looking for Rarity images with my mother, since she wanted to know which pony I liked best, and up comes a rather inappropriate RariDash picture. Granted, we were pretty far down in the Google Images and my mature content filter was off, but still. I mean, that's my mother.

 

But then the other part of me goes Who The Heck Cares?! I personally don't care what or who gets you off. What you do in your bedroom or on your laptop is your business, so long as you're not hurting anyone. And believe it or not, I've seen some truly gorgeous, breathtaking artwork on dA that involves Flutterdash or SoarinDash or what have you.

 

So my suggestion is, if you're looking for pony artwork, deviantart and derpibooru have some fantastic filters that keep most of the questionable stuff out. And if you're determined to look on Google Images, temporarily turn your mature filter on.

 

Don't try to fight the existence of R34 MLP stuff. You won't win. But you can fight your exposure to it.

I have seen plenty of Rule 34 stuff while randomly searching for different images. It really doesn't bother me. My main suggestion, get used to it. It really isn't going away, mainly because there is nothing wrong with it and there are people who do enjoy it. Now, if you start seeing some crazy super bestiality 4005.2: Fists of Death stuff, then there might be some concern, primarily that your browser may then have developed an intellect of it's own.

The world, especially the internet is a horribly messed up place. Grow some thicker skin, and learn to ignore it. You can try to avoid it, but eventually you're gonna see some sexual content. The best thing to do is ignore it and move on like an adult. R34 is a rule for a reason.

It's not possible, if MLP R34 shows up even on with your safe filter set up to the highest setting you can't get rid of it. You can thank Business Intelligence for that. Then again, my safesearch and that of many don't let any R34 pictures pass, so I'm questioning the things you google and the things you click on. Since Business Intelligence actually shows you things closest related to what you google or watch.

 

Anyway, the only suggestion I can make for you is joining sites like Deviantart, add MLP Artwork groups to your watch, fave a few artists you like and you'll get notifications if there's new artwork, it's one of the only ways.

 

Or you could simply ignore it. But it seems that's not an option.

I've never had a problem with google images. The 'new' explicit search mode is only supposed to display 18+ content if you're more descriptive in your search terms. But it wouldn't surprise me if the related media become less and less relevant to the original search terms. Google for you.

May be a stupid idea, and may have already been said, but why not just put your search results on normal? Like others have already said, there's porn of almost everything on the internet. I don't like it, but whenever I search for something like mlp images, I just turn my search results from explicit to normal. That does the trick for me.

I just did my own search on Google Images of Fluttershy.  I got two images that had suggestive things in it, but everything else was simple, Fluttershy pictures.  That's not to say certain images don't pop up from time to time, but this is the internet.  You may as well expect this stuff to pop up every now and then. 

 

I mean, I've accidentally come across things sexually explicit from King of the Hill, Game Grumps, and even Mythbusters.  Yes, really, all these are real and I am horrified they exist.  That's the thing though, there's porn on just about everything out there, and if it's not there, it'll be there eventually (referring to R35).

 

If you want a safer environment for things like this fandom, just go on DeviantArt.  There are groups out there that don't allow what you don't want to see.  I don't know why you didn't look there in the first place...

I respect and understand why you don't wish to see that but you will never get rid of those images, the good news though is that there are ways you can search ponies without seeing that. First if the filters on google are really don't work at all for you than maybe google shouldn't be where you try to search for your pony pics. As some others have suggested deviantart is a great place to find pony pics with very effective filters, I am yet to find anything explicit on there without actively searching for it.

I just mainly find it a bummer because of how it reflects on the fan base and the show, and because there's probably a lot of kids out there who went on google to find pretty pictures of ponies and got something they didn't expect.

 

Personally, it doesn't bother me all that much. I'd prefer to never have seen/heard about the R-34 stuff, but hey, what can you do. I strongly dislike pony porn, but I also think that ignoring things you don't like is a valuable skill.  My suggestion would be to go to MLPchan's /anon/ board and enable mature threads, then browse for a while.  After a while, you won't even see the porn because you'll be so desensitized to it

The answer to both questions is a matter of opinion, and in my opinion, the answer to both questions is no. Think about it. It's really no different then getting off to any other material. People shouldn't be judged for what they enjoy. As long as they know how to keep a fine line between fantasy, and reality, things will be okay. No harm done to society.

 

Also, I have to admit, some of the picture that I've seen aren't half bad. But then again, I have a pretty open mind. Like, so open, that you could probably throw a blunt object at my head -- i.e: a celery stalk -- and it'd be transported into the inner machinations of my imagination. I'm speaking metaphorically, of course.
