Does anypony else here never eat horse meat ?

A horse is too beautiful to kill and eat in my opinion ;(

If someone gives me horse meat to eat I say NO

If I see horse meat I'm not hungry anymore

Well, I'm vegetarian..so you can obviously guess my answer. xD But, yeah, horse meat is absolutely disgusting to me; of course, a while ago there was a dog meat festival in China, everyone was really angry about it. You couldn't pay me to eat horse meat...yuck.

I've never seen horse meat, so i can't say I've ever intentionally eaten it.

 

If I knew it was horse meat a certainly wouldn't eat it. It'd be like eating dog now for me.

 

I'm pretty picky with my meat generally, alot of times I just eat chicken anyways. .

It's funny that you mention horse meat, I actually did try it a while ago and I have to say that it's quite bleugh. 

 

There's a reason why a majority of butcher shops in the U.S. do not offer horse meat

Dude, if you saw horse meat and you didn't know it was horse meat, you'd wolf it down just as fast as everyone else.

I have absolutely no reason to ever eat horse meat.

 

I really only ever eat chicken, pork, beef and various sea foods, though, I'm strongly considering converting to vegetarianism. I honestly think I'd be better off without meat. It'd be hard, but I think it'd be worth it.

I actually like horse meat. I can understand why some people don't like it or are even vegetarian. But it is simply not a part of my personality. I am an omnivore. Just remember: A few decades ago when there were more farmers then today, many people killed and ate the beings they had personally taken care of before. You are not able to eat a horse because of emotions. That's okay, of course. I don't say that I like every meat or that i'd eat everything. I just have no problem when it comes to horses. And I'd never compare our lovely ponies to actual ones.

This. One thing I have always said is that I will try anything at least once before deciding if I like it or not. It worked with MLP.

 

But if somepony else doesn't want to try it, that's fine.

I've never tried it myself and I don't think I would like to. However, they do have vendors of horse meat in my hometown in Italy. Obviously I never actually went there, and it's pretty much taboo here in the UK to begin with. I'm also gonna go with Swiggly here. I kinda feel it would count as spiritual cannibalism since we're all bronies here

In case you don't know, many products sold in supermarkets such as burgers that were supposed to be beef had significant amounts of horse meat in them, and no-one knew about it. I heard that some lasagnes were made with 100% horse meat.

 

I'm not too fond of meat in the first place, other than chicken, but horse meat really disgusts me, simply because horses are beautiful animals.

I haven't knowingly eaten horse meat, and I probably won't, because the thought of eating this beautiful, majestic, lovable creature just feels... wrong. That's also one of the reasons why I'm considering becoming vegetarian; the idea of eating these animals that have been crammed into small spaces and treated poorly makes me feel evil, and for the health benefits. I'll eat it if I know where it comes from, and if it comes from a place where they treat the animals well.

I'm always up for new food experiences. I wanted to try sardines so I went out and bought some sardines!

 

I've seen pig and chicken feet on the shelves in stores and wanted to try those (though I hear chicken feet has almost no meat)

 

I know people who go hunting and they literally eat the entire animal. I was intrigued though I could never hunt myself.

I'd like to try it, since I'm pretty much always up for trying new types of meat. It's not exactly easy to find in the US, though, so I doubt I'll ever have any.

 

I guess I'm in the minority of bronies in that I don't make a connection between MLP ponies and IRL equines, I tend to think of them more as people with equine shapes. I think IRL ponies/horses are kinda ugly, actually :/
