You motherfu***r.  xD

Weeeeeell you just asked a impossible question my good sir. To everyone saying the human imagination is infinite, this is the question that makes that statement wrong.

So should I try coming up with a new color now or what. :P

Colour, is really a fabrication of our minds, so does it really exist?

It's honestly hard to imagine a color that's not in the spectrum, because we CANNOT see it. We only have 3 color cones, which let us see blue, red, green, and every color in between. An animal such as the mantis shrimp has 16 color cones, which means they see more colors than us. What we see is very dull compared to what a mantis shrimp sees.

Also, relating to the philosophical thought, they say that in your last moments, you see your entire life flash before your eyes. So, what if the life we are living right this very second is just a flashback, and we are, in reality, on the brink of death?

I also completely believe in life after death. When we die, we or born in another body. I'm not sure if we'd be born as the same species, or even in the same universe, but I think there is definitely more to life than just a single lifetime.

Yea it's black. Since black basically absorbs all the colours in the light spectrum and reflects none of them back to the eye

Thank god I at least payed some attention in school

Techinically, there is white, black, and grey in the spectrum. This is what I found.

Gray is equal amounts of all the colors of the spectrum, but it is lower in intensity than white. The less total light, the darker the gray until you reach black at zero light.

Yeah Wikipedia says that when you display the spectrum on a gray background you get some non spectral color mixes. But as for the actual spectrum colors like pink and gray aren't on it.

Oh yeah funny thing, if you want a quick reference to the color spectrum anytime just take a look at my sig. Her mane IS the spectrum, the basic one anyways. LOL img-1379355-5-xtWXQl1.png

Okay, the death question. Here's my take on things.

As I said in another post, have you ever laid in bed as the clock reads 7:30, you close your eyes for two seconds, and suddenly it's 9:30? You closed your eyes for an instant, and two hours passed. Those two hours were a period of time where your brain was processing absolutely nothing, and made that period of time seem instantaneous.

Now, in death, your brain will, too, be processing absolutely nothing. But once you're dead, there's no coming back to life. You remain dead for eternity. How can that instant where your brain processes nothing, carry on for an infinite amount of time? I simply can't imagine it. It's like imagining what it was like before you were born; where your brain was processing nothing because it didn't exist yet.

Thus, I think there is life after death. Life where we have absolutely no memory of our previous life; beginning instantaneously after our own death. It would fill the impossible void.

@Mau5; I think his question didn't mean what happens to your body; more like what you experience after death. If you even can.

In my opinion (and I've had this though in my head for the past week), life is a whole illusion, a dream, for lack of a better term. Is anything real, or is this a fabrication of our minds? Do we just imagine this, and once we die, we 'wake up' into a whole new life, in a different universe, species, time? Is there actually anything that is real right now?

I guess there's no right or wrong here

I don't what will happen after death. Our bodies would decay and so will our mind. Perhaps there will be an afterlife, but I'll cross that bridge when I get there

Hm. Well, what I mean is, not what happens to our bodies, but to what happens to what we call 'consciousness.'

After Death?

Hmm...

Who knows? Your whole neurochemical reactions stop, and that means everything that made you ends. But is it the end? Your end? Is there a soul? Is there even a need to think about that? Everything returns to nothing. We come from nothing. We return to nothing. Our biomass will be the basis for new life that also didn't need to ask itself what happened before life. But what happened before life? Death.

It's a circle. Life follows death, death follows life. Immorttality of the soul is not going to heaven, it is staying a part of excistance as a whole, even though what "we" were fades. Because we are dust. I don't like to use biblical terms that often, but they are quite useful and more than just the basis for a few circular arguments...

I've already kinda-sorta answered this question with my thoughts already, but maybe I have something new to bring to the table.

I believe that life isn't limited to a single lifetime. When we die, we are merely shedding our skin, and becoming reborn into a newly developed body. We will have more stories to tell, more experiences to... experience, and a different perspective on life. Or perhaps the same perspective? I've heard of stories where people had these sort of "flashbacks" from their supposed previous life, and were able to remember details from back when that you wouldn't possibly be able to remember. I'm not saying it's 100% true, but it's definitely an interesting theory to think over.

This'll sound silly as all heck, but I've always felt like I had a special bond with cats, and even went so far as to say that I was a cat in a past life, and some of those feline instincts passed over into my current life. It's just a silly little theory that I thought up as a young child, but I still kinda hold this thought in my mind, and now that I'm older and more knowledgeable, I can think this thought over more profoundly.

Soooo~, in short, energy cannot be destroyed. It can only be converted into a different form of energy.
