What do you think happened to Sunset Shimmer?

So the title saids it all. What do you think happened after she cleaned up the mess she had made after  her transformation? Did she get expelled from the school? Did she end up getting pissed-off? Some say she would end being Twilight Sparkle's student to learn her discoveries of friendship.

I don't think she was expelled.  I have a feeling she became friends with the alternate human versions of Twilight's friends and they'll teach her about friendship or whatever.  I'm kind of hoping she'll be in season 4 though as a pony.

I think she's supposed to befriend the humanized Mane 6. It seems ridiculous how they could just forgive her like that *snaps fingers*, but it makes sense because it seems that all Sunset Shimmer needed was some friendship. It's very possible that all of her anger built up over time and there was nopony around to assuage her, and she turned cruel and malicious as a result. She also never really experienced having a good time with friends, or connecting with another pony, thus contributing to her becoming what she became. It could be that Sunset Shimmer was truly evil, but I'd like to think that she only went down the path she did because she never experienced friendship in her life.

I think she just had to do detention and community service for a bit. Then the rest of her time at school was spent trying to redeem herself and learning the magic of friendship.

I asked because I wanted everypony's views and opinions of this. I've got to disagree with yours mate. Principle Celestia and Vice Principle Luna wouldn't be too harsh considering the fact it was her emotions and actions that made her evil and she wouldn't be sent to the government because she's only in High School. Get real.

Knowing how the show rolls, everyone is likely to forgive her and accept her as a friend. In the human dimension, there is no mane 6 because there is no twilight, so maybe sunset shimmer will fill in that gap.

Being a student of Twilight Sparkle due to the fact that she is now princess would be wonderful for Sunset Shimmer to improve and discover the definition of friendship. I agree with Minty. Both of them are in a different dimension towards each other but who knows? The moon might rise again and bring forth and power to cross to the different side of the world.

I think her character needs more of a back story and possible inlusion in the regular show. I hope she comes back to Equestria. In the end of the movie, she seemed very repentant of her ways and hopefully is being guided by the magic of friendship by the human versions of the mane six minus twilight.

When she transformed, I thought thats what she was going to do to everyone present...devour their souls, wouldn't make much for a kids movie though.

the most canon would be that she becomes the twilight of the human universe.

 

i personally think she would be alone for a small while at first. when she rebuild the school nobody wants to talk to her or be her friend since she has been pretty much using everybody.

but then probably human fluttershy will think it is kinda sad, and make friends with her.

then the rest of the mane human six see that she has changed, and become friends with her too. 

 

but that's just my theory :3

Considering how Sunset never came back with Twilight to the pony universe, she is essentially stuck in Canterlot High for 30 days at least. So my guess is that she learns as much as she can from the main 5 over there then comes back to Equestria.

 

Reason being is that there is literally TWO of her in the human universe. There's no way she could exist there without raising questions about her apparent twin. Also, I don't think anyone much less high schoolers would forgive her for using unknown magical powers, a decent amount of vandalism, and literally mind screwing them into becoming zombies (I know I wouldn't). It doesn't seem like there's much a future for her over there.
