When I was a little kid, I so didn't want to part with our tiger-striped kitty Tiger Lily that I carried her with me to the bathroom one time.

A Tiger Lily is a flower.

....

*googles it* Duh, a cat! A KITTY Tigerlily. Of course. I knew that. Totally. >_>

It's not really your fault. There's an unhealthy lack of commas in that post.

I don't think there is a lack of commas. Please explain.

"our tiger-striped kitty Tiger Lily" should be "our tiger-striped kitty, Tiger Lily" in order for it to make more sense and more easily interpret-able. English Punctuation.

Because beforehand, jumbling it all into one thing makes it sound weird and totally destroys the fact that there's supposed to be a name and a description in the same sentence.

Ah, because Tiger Lily is a name of the kitty. Kitty is an noun, not an adjective, in this context. Right?

My confession: I once fancied myself an author, yet I don't care to be a hardass about grammar. To me the message is what matters.

Essentially, yes.

(But now this is starting to turn into English Class. Maybe I should stop.)

I believe it's generally considered appropriate to surround such an elaboration with commas when it is already known and, therefore, unnecessary.  No one would've known the name of my childhood pet had I not provided it.

(No offense, other person)

I WILL DESTROY YOU!!1!  The bolded, all-in-caps text indicates how seriously serious I seriously am.

Don't judge a book by its cover. You will truly understand it if you're just willing to read it.

What about "tiger-striped kitty who is called Tiger Lily"?

Considering the inherent flexibility of language, I could've said any number of things. xD  Though there is a vague shred of epic-ness in the way you worded that:

When the moon is high and the dark birds cry loudest, there silently emerges a beast unlike any other.  She is friend to us all and keeps watch over the perilous night.  With alternating stripes of gray and black is she decorated, and on quiet, hidden feet does she tread.  Yes, child, she is the one; the one who is called...  Tiger Lily.

Confession: I'm an idiot.

Sometimes *rarely* I can have a pretty bad temper even though I am a pretty easy-going mellow person.

Confession: My first language was English and I can speak it the best out of any language that I know, but I just can't fully get the grammar down. I'll look up when to use "raised" or "rose" or something for a moment when I'm confused, but I just can't remember it and my mind will just end up telling me what to put in based on what sounds right to me. I pretty much just write the way I speak and that fools me sometimes.

Arabic grammar though, it's so structured. It's like math but with words.  I'm definitely a huge geek and Grammar Nazi when it comes to this (though only to myself ).

Another confession: I talk to my Twilight plushie... often...

I use the Everything filter on derpibooru only to get rid of the stupid spoiler tags, and am actually a bit disturbed by most of the shit that shows up as well.

TL;DR Derpibooru needs a spoiler filter

Create your own account and make your own custom Filter. That includes what you want or don't want spoilered.

Hmm... I think some people are going to find this upsetting but when I feel abysmal past a certain point, I feel like most people just cannot help me. There is no shortage of sincerity and good will but... those two thing alone aren't enough.

I feel like if I am to be truly helped, it needs to be someone who is not just compassionate but also wiser than myself. Fortunately I do have some friends who meet those criteria but usually I can be aversive to turning to a community for support if it isn't something I'm already managing to some extent.

Unless I have a complete breakdown where I'd be willing to try anything...  :sunny:

It's true: Some holes you have to climb out of on your own.  But, more often than not, there's probably someone out there who's dealt with similar problems.  Faced similar obstacles.  Rarely is anyone really alone in their misery; there's always someone to talk to.  But you won't find those someones unless you reach out.

We've been watching Yu-Gi-Oh!, and I can't help but think this looks wrong.

I don't care about grammar, as long as its interpreatble.

....that was interpretable. Sort of. Was your grammar mistakes there intentionally ironic?

Oh, WHY does life have to be so IRONIC!?

And, WHY isn't there a Sweetie Belle emote?

------------

For me, I'm the other way around. My perfectionism dictates I always critique people's grammar. Even my own.

I'm ... mentally unstable ... with wild mood changes and often suicidal thoughts ... with depression being the most common mood ...

I have problems accepting reality.

~the last two are confessions as no one knows about them ...

I have a fear of relationships as I would either be too clingy/ignore the other person.

I can be a very clingy person.

Due to the first two ... the REAL confession here (please don't hate me) is that ... I almost killed someone ... I didn't ... but it left me mentally scarred for life ... and made the first confession much worse. Don't worry the person forgave me and I'm not a psycho or anything ...Please don't hate me :(

EDIT: that was about ten years ago ... but still effects me

2nd EDIT: This was hard to post for it bought a lot of bad memories up.

I can't sleep sometimes because I am afraid of the dark :(

I fear being outside in the dark (I was also generally really afraid of the dark a year ago, however, I have overcome most of that fear).

No one here would hate you for something that happened that long ago. I'm actually impressed how brave you were to post this, that takes courage :)
