In the Legend of Zelda, the main villain of the series is Ganon. He has had many appearances as a result of course, but which one is your favorite? Here's a description of each(which will be put in spoilers, so those who don't wish to spoil themselves on Ganons they haven't fought yet), along with images so you can just vote on looks if you want.

Ganon- The Legend of Zelda

228px-96.jpg

Lives under a rock basically. Likes to roam around in rooms with decieving flooring. Doesn't like Silver Arrows, they give him owas.

Ganon- A Link to the Past

GanonALttPTrident.png

Screws with the Sacred Realm to make the Dark World. Possesses a wizard to fight you most of the time. First to be killed with the Master Sword in release order.

Ganondorf- Ocarina of Time

post-592-0-33091000-1374368988.png

The original form of Ganon canonwise. Successfully takes over the world because Link has to sleep for seven years to fight him. Eventually turns into a beast and is killed by the Master Sword.

Ganon- Oracle of Seasons/Oracle of Ages

post-592-0-67858700-1374369294.png

Can only be fought in the second of the two you play by linking. Apparently ressurected by some 'dark rites' or something. Was apparently a mindless dunderhead that Link had to put out of his misery.

Ganondorf- The Wind Waker

post-592-0-64746300-1374369539.png

Lives in a fortress. Likes to kidnap little girls. Is eventually stabbed straight in the head by Link, probably the greatest ending blow ever.

Ganon- Four Swords Adventures

post-592-0-28280400-1374370070.png

Summons the Dark Link that annoys you throughout the game. Tricks Link into releasing Vaati. Is eventually shot by a light arrow and sealed within the Four Sword.

Ganondorf- Twilight Princess

post-592-0-37762300-1374370399.png

Gets sentenced to death and stabbed, but lives and kills the sage who stabbed him, leading to his banishment in the Twilight Realm where he finds and gives his power to Zant. Takes forms like posessing Zelda and a beast form when fighting Link. Eventually gets stabbed again by Link with the Master Sword and is left to stand on a cliff(or die offscreen, probably).

Demise(he counts imo)- Skyward Sword

post-592-0-30330300-1374370905.png

The great great granddaddy of all Ganons. Is a monster most of the game, whom you fight multiple times, but eventually is resurrected by his sword spirit Ghirahim. Link kills him with lightning, but he manages to place a terrible curse on Link and his descendants which causes the Ganons to appear in the other games.

Well, that's all of them I believe. So who is best Ganon, the baddest of the bad? Cast your vote!

They all look like amazing boss battles.

I have only played Ocarina of time, and by the looks of it, I can safely say it is the best ganon fight in my opinion.

It's dark, atmospheric, epic, and memorable.

Well, almost all Ganon battles are fantastic and great, but the one that stood out to me was

Demise from Skyward Sword!

The music is beautiful, the atmosphere is fantastic, and the battle itself is kinda difficult!!

It took me many tries to beat him!!

Dat music!!

Ocarina of Time. That was the Ganon I remember the most fondly. He ruled over Hyrule for seven years and turned the city into rubble full of redeads. Not only that, he caused chaos in the entire land of Hyrule as well. Freezing the Zora's, raising a dragon against the gorons, and just causing mass hysteria in general. I felt the other Ganons didn't even compare to the amount of evil that the OoT Ganon committed.

I love most Ganon Battles, but I really loved the one from twilight princess when you dueled him, and of course I loved fighting Demise as well, which proved to be challenging, something i hadn't seen in a Ganon fight since A link to the Past.. So, i think i will go with Demise, Because it was a very good and fun fight for a finely crafted Zelda.

I'd say Twilight Princess Ganondorf as you fight him in a 1on1 sword fight with no fancy magic or tennis shit, and he's got pretty badass music, but the truth his he's fucking pathetic, only dealing 1/4 heart damage with that sword of his and it's too easy to counter him. So I'm going with the Ocarina of Time Ganondorf/Ganon.

The tennis match is actually rather fun, and then after you beat him (and he famously vomits blood... RATED E FOR EVERYONE PEOPLE) there's an escape sequence followed by Ganon, a final boss so awesome he doesn't even NEED a subtitle - he's just Ganon. Not only that, but the battle arena is so dark you can barely make out his appearance (only things you really know are that he is bigger and more menacing than you, and he dual-wields sais that deal massive amounts of damage) and for half the battle, you don't even have the Master Sword! That, and he only has one obvious weak spot, his tail, and getting to that is easier said than done. Honestly, one of the most memorable final bosses in the series.

Twilight Princess ftw! It's so epic when you just duel with Gannon instead of playing energy tennis with him. NOSTALGIA OVERLOAD DHBAUBFEUB mlp-tsquee.png

As much as I love Twilight Princess, I have to agree with you there that the OoT fight is pretty gaddamn epic.

Ganon in A Link to the Past. That was the first game where we could infer from information fed to us that Ganon had a "human" form, as we are told that the Dark World changes people to reflect their hearts, with Ganon's apparently reflecting that of a demonic pig. Of course, while I thought that was interesting, A Link to the Past was also as far as I can remember the only game in which Ganon actually retrieves the Triforce and is granted his wish. So instead of preventing Ganon from accomplishing what he has set out to do, Link's job is to put an end to his reign of tyranny.

I would have to say this Ganon by far ...

It was so much fun to eat his white glowing flesh, not to mention the soundtrack was so epic! <3

As for my vote, I went with TP Ganondorf. Yeah, people resent him for stealing the villain spotlight from Zant, but I quite liked his backstory and the variety between the 4 final battles with him, even if he his pathetically easy and loves staring at fishing rods(seriously, if you haven't yet in the final duel you must try this, a most amusing cheat/easter egg). :derp:

I guess this is a good time to mention Twilight Princess spoilers. :P

Zant was always a loser. Ganon turned out to be the ultimate evil and Zant made him look even better when he turned out to be an absolute tool. TP Ganon was a badass who had a sword thrust through him and managed to keep his evil essence alive in the Twilight Realm.

Plus that final fight with him was the most epic fight in the Zelda series.

I'm honestly not a big fan of the TP Ganon, the backstory behing him was cool, but his final battle was disappointing. He was practically a beefed up Darknut, and the only thing noteworthy was that his weakness was the fishing pole, though I love that you could use the Final Blow to defeat him

I'd say Windwaker Ganon was my favorite

Even though i've technically not totally beat ooT(Don't hurt me :( ) I think since ooT is the only gannon I've ever seen in the games, i'll have to go with him.

The only Zelda game i've really beat is Majoras mask, which doesn't contain Gannon at all.

Actually wait, I take that back, I beat Gannon in Wind waker, so nvm I beat wind waker, forgot about that :P.

I've already seen the ooT boss battle though, and its pretty epic. So yeah.

Wind wakers was cool to I guess, atleast the boss battle.

I sort of like the Wind Waker Gannon most, mainly because I've only seen him in OoT and Wind Waker. I have to say that I like him in wind waker a lot more, more because he's sort of an ominous force that's present from the first moment you start the game. You don't get to see him fully until later, but I remember how foreboding greatfish isle was and the idea of permanent night. (Nightmare Moon version 0.5?)

In OoT, he was more of the classical villain. He appears mid way through the game and yes, while he did cause many bad things to happen, I don't think he was as feared. Sure he was a tyrant, but he was portrayed as a melevolent and omnipotent force in WW, which is how I make my decision.
