Harmony And Rarity 195 September 4, 2013 Share September 4, 2013 Hello everyone. I am not in anyway trying to be Religiously mean. I just have a cool idea if we ACTUALLY die and go to heaven. Okay. What if we died and when we got to heaven, we could ask god for anything. I really don't know the power he has, but what if we asked him if Ponyville was real and we could be a young Colt or Filly? I think that would be cool, if none of you guys have thought about it. What do you guys think? Check Me Out If You Want To! :
Naught Important 434 September 4, 2013 Share September 4, 2013 That would be amazing. Now that got me to think: what if our world was created by someone else's desires? Like, imagine some kind of alien creature asking God to create our Earth. That would be pretty cool. I have so much I want to say regarding God and Heaven and such (Mostly positive things, not bad things) since It can be such an interesting topic. I am not religious in the slightest, but I love to think about the afterlife. 1 The extent of my interest is in things that don't exist. An Old Head 4,816 September 4, 2013 Share September 4, 2013 Well, to be fair, this is pretty much identical to the idea of us turning into ponies and going to Equestria. If you were preoccupied that you might be being religiously mean, as you put it, you needn't have mentioned religion at all It would definitely be cool; much better than humans themselves going to Equestria. The ponies we would turn into would feel right at home there, and wouldn't cause the ponyfolk to be afraid. I for one would be thrilled to meet Pinkie Pie

Untitled Goose Q 5,137 September 4, 2013 Share September 4, 2013 Going to Equestria when I die? Well, I can think of worse things to happen. I doubt I have any control over it though. This is probably the nicest thing a not religious person has said to me. I can understand evolution, but I just don't understand how we survived without a god, allah. Or anyone to light our way. You know? As an atheist, I must say that I don't see why any deity that allows the suffering that goes on daily to continue is worth worshipping. Plus I haven't seen proof. But you know, anything you want to believe is fine. On 4/22/2016 at 6:16 PM, The Nightly Spectre said: One does not ask why The Questioner is awesome. -BleachedOne- 233 September 4, 2013 Share September 4, 2013 In spiritual context? Yes, I have. Provided I'm not chucked into an infinite void when I die. In fact, I've been torn between same-old peaceful and happy Equestria and the universe of the Equestrian Wasteland. Why would I want to live in an endless Hell where ponies are out to kill each other over supplies and supremacy? To apply the skills I've learned in life and see just how far my limits go. I'd enjoy being reborn as my OC Arctic Frost if my spirit ever found its way to Equestria. Of the Wasteland...it's still Equestria, albeit much, much darker. Of course, there exists the thought that there may not even be an afterlife. Either way, only time will tell. ~Seraphim~ ~:What's so fun about firing at targets that aren't moving?:~ Yakumo Yukari ~Touhou Project~
Scootalove 10,689 September 4, 2013 Share September 4, 2013 A afterlife in a very peaceful place where I get live as a pony in Ponyville, I'm definitely taking that idea as a very good opportunity. Credit: Moony © Forum FAQ Forum Rules

TheMangoPony 146 September 4, 2013 Share September 4, 2013 I have read that people can experience a surge of brain activity right as they are dying. Some doctors think that it might be the reason that patients who are brought back sometimes recall a spiritual phenomenon, such as seeing deceased loved ones or floating above their bodies. I think it would be neat if, for those who are not brought back, that last burst of activity causes us to lose our sense of time and slip into a wonderful endless dream. This is pretty much the exact thing I'm hoping for, and seems like one of the most likely scenarios in my mind for an afterlife. The mind is definitely capable of altering our sense of time. I have difficulty believing much else. Possibly maybe that since matter or energy cannot be created or destroyed we could become pure energy with the possibility of becoming matter again(which encourages the "We are all one" argument, ), but obviously our "self" wouldn't survive that business... so I prefer the endless dream idea haha. I especially like that idea because then whatever belief a person follows or personal heaven one desires, it's attainable. Like I say though I have troubles believing in life after death, so I'm not banking on it, but would be a pretty nice bonus, . If that's the case... Equestria sounds like a fantastic choice!
RubyVesper 100 September 7, 2013 Share September 7, 2013 Without pulling in topics like religion, let's just say: I die, and the paranormal brushes with reality I'm having have never happened but I did figure out the multiverse in my life, so as a reward, I get to choose where my personality ends up again, and I get to keep my memories. Well, I would choose Equestria. Sort-of... I'd choose an adventurous interdimensional life strongly intertwined with Equestria. 1 Upcoming music producer waiting for the money to buy a new Mac. Valynne 2,686 September 9, 2013 Share September 9, 2013 Of course! Our mind is too powerful to dying with the body does, i have a strong belief in afterlife because of personal experiences, talking about the afterlife is talking of religion and i like to think that God knows us and He, like any loving father, wants to give us a worthy reward for our acts, and what could be better that raising only for us bronies the land of Equestria in His infinite Kindom Im a religious person, and that's my personal thoughts 1 Please check my GIF shop! https://mlpforums.com/topic/199911-open-rethajnis-ych-comission-shop/#comment-6247435
Sir Cal Stonehoof 596 September 9, 2013 Share September 9, 2013 (edited) I would love to go to Equestria when I die... I think it would be better if I became a pony than rather staying human. I mean while there are advantages to hands over hooves..I think it would be better to fit in with everyone..than be that strange creature that walks on two legs. I think I would prefer to be either an Earth Pony or a Unicorn...I'm afraid of heights so I don't think being a Pegasus would be a good idea...but it would give me something in common with Fluttershy... :3 I'm in no hurry to die, but I think it would be nice to go to Equestria to spend the afterlife. The Handmaid 19 September 9, 2013 Share September 9, 2013 (edited) The idea actually seems very pleasant to me. That when I die I will go somewhere where I'm very happy, and somewhere where I feel like I belong. Even though I mostly believe that nothing really happens to us when we die, that idea still sounds absolutely amazing to me. I can only hope that when we die something like that will happen and that we will go somewhere that we are happy and feel welcome into. Steve-A-Sketch 37 March 7, 2014 Share March 7, 2014 Anything is possible as limitless time and space in Universe and Multi-Verses I too would love to live in Equestria There is such things as dimensions like dreams when we can dream of what is not in reality
FNGRpony 658 March 7, 2014 Share March 7, 2014 Ahem, equistra for ever and ever and ever?Sounds awesome. Sounds awesome. Many a anime and cartoon sounded awesome with this idea over the years. I've seen some cute deviant arts with this notion. I think it would lose it's charm eventually. Just like anything else would after you had to live, eat, breath, and sleep it 24/7. i do believe in an after life, but being stuck in some one else's fantasy for ever alone would eventually become limiting. It would be a nice start ^^. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JvTYhrZUgYY flight to the finish. i continue to improve,

Ribbonfree 2,383 March 7, 2014 Share March 7, 2014 In my personal beliefs the afterlife is whatever you want it to be. Who knows what my true heart's desire will be when I'm old and gray? Castle Bleck 19,376 March 7, 2014 Share March 7, 2014 (edited) As a Christian, I believe that it's either Heaven or Hell. Of course, many near-death-experience stories have implied that both places have Fisher Kingdom/Lotus-Eater Machine traits, so an Equestria-style afterlife doesn't seem entirely out of the question. King Sejong 859 March 7, 2014 Share March 7, 2014 (edited) I would like to think of Equestria to be my Elysian fields, my Eden, it would seem like place we could finally be at peace, an fine spot for a final resting place. Although I do not believe in the traditional religions afterlife, it would seem that the beyond could be what ever you want it to be, whether it's in a galaxy far, far away, or the enchanted land of Care-a-Lot, as long as you have some deep rooted passion for that, anything could seem possible, as for me I would like to greet any brony willing to make the journey to Equestria, if not them best wishes to you. Steel Accord 6,660 March 7, 2014 Share March 7, 2014 Of course I would, what brony wouldn't? Personally, I believe that some of us may very well go to their. Not forever though, at least not most of us. Because as idyllic as Equestria is, it's not perfect. Heaven, true Heaven, not the clouds and harps version, is not just a place, it's a perfect state of existence. So Equestria may be like one of the steps of Limbo or Purgatory, above Valhalla but below the Matrix . . . and a left turn at Narnia. (Yes, I have a colorful view of the ethereal plane.
