What would your death song be and why, and how would you want to die?

I was always interested in the military, my death song would be Already Over by RED, and I would want to die next to my fellow Marines, saving a injured Marine from heavy fire, and then dying. I always put someone else first in those situations, I never worry about what happens to me its what happens if I don't save him or her, and people think that im stupid for even thinking about dying, no matter how much pain im in, but it makes me fell good that I would of died for someone to be able to see their kids and wife or girlfriend again, I'd be damn proud to serve, and protect the Marine to my left and the Marine to my right.

My death song would be Hero by Nickelback, it would be my death song because I want to be remembered but with a good song included. I would die in a Colosseum fighting a tiger with Chuck Norris while I blow up in a blaze of glory with the tiger dying with me. That would be a death well spent.

Hmmm, what could I choose? I could lay on my deathbed, and with my final minutes of life left, have the song "Celestia's Ballad" play. That seems WAY too freaking sad though. :(

I don't know honestly. My death song would probably just be one of my favorites. Going down fighting to an epic song would be pretty cool. For some reason I'm thinking "Almost Easy" by Avenged Sevenfold would be a good song to go down fighting to.

I don't want people to be crying at my end, so this is how I want it to go.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N2VQQEoWlTg

I want to be in my coffin, lowered into my grave slowly as smoke and fog, along with lots of lasers, pour out and fill the area. Soon as the song hits 0:31, BOOM. Coffin explodes and candy flies everywhere as people dance and party because I actually had full sized Crunch and 100 Grand candy bars instead of those wimpy "fun sized" ones.

I would like to go out to The Toys Go Winding Down by Primus. I'd like to die a hero standing up to something that shouldn't be. The reason why is because this song is 1. Badass on so many levels. 2. It talks about small things that people have done that have been somewhat heroic. (At least how I interpreted it, well the first 2 versus anyway)

If it had to be a song from MLP then it would definitely be Smile, Smile, Smile. What's the point in being upset about someone's death when you can celebrate the immense achievements they made whilst alive!

If it was any song in the world then based entirely on lyrics it would be Don't You Ever Forget About Me - Sleeping With Sirens or Don't You Forgot About Me - Simple Minds.

A song with meaning to my life though? Sigur Ros - Untitled #3 (Samskeyti) or Saeglopur as these were the songs that rekindled my love for piano and made me go back to learn what I am most talented at.

Right now if I had to pick a way to die though... In the arms of someone I love or someone I've never met. Either one would be fine.

Good to see some people still have the value of trading your life for another :)

Anyway, a nice slow Funeral March is how I'd like to go. I'd prefer fife and drum, but y'know...XD

its all I really focused on in the military, It was something that I thought that I was always mean to do, and I under stand that I won't be able to physically see and hug or talk to my parents and friends, but knowing that I completed the hardest basic training in the Department of Defense and handed god my life for someone else's would mean the world to me, and Im sure everyone that knew me would say he was a great kid, and did exactly what he said he was gonna do :(  :D  he did not except anything but victory, never gave up and carried out every task handed to him.

I saw a comment on "game over yeah!" saying they wanted that played at there funeral. I wouldn't mind that phrase being played at mine.  Followed by lean on me.

Indeed! It's exactly as I feel! Knowing that I gave my life for someone, so that they could live their life to the fullest. Just to see them be happy and live longer would mean the world to me :)

My death song would be It's My Life by Bon Jovi. That would be my death song because it sounds so awesome first of all. Second, it has a great message to it. Basically, it is a song about standing your ground and living your life how you want to live it and nobody telling you how. As for how I would want to die. I would die happily defending the country I was raised in from any threat. :)

"How Could This Happen to me,"

The song would engage just as I am dying as I'm randomly shot while doing an act of kindness.

I don't know why I just get that picture in my head when I think about dying.

I think this song is appropriate for being my "death song." I know for certain I want to end my life on a triumphant note rather than a sad one and I think this is a good song to describe my experience through life. It will probably be another song if I actually die, but I'm certain it will be very similar to this song that I will ultimately decide on.

As for how I would like to die, I have absolutely no intentions on doing so.

I honestly prefer the Love remix as opposed to the original version from Magical Mystery Tour. It's one of my favourite songs.

When I die I don't want others to have huge memorials and be preoccupied with the fact that I've now left the world. Just leave me in peace.

I would die like that dude at the end of the Lord of the Rings movie.

Arrows would be sticking out my back, but I'd still manage to win the war and save my friends by slicing off the head of the evil monster. My death would be happy, cuz as I died, I would pull a lever, which would immediately cue "We Are the Champions" and bring out beautiful ladies holding kegs of beer (for mah frends, of course)

My death song with would be Simple and Clean by Utada Hikaru. Ever since I can remember that song has had great meaning in my life, it personally tells me that fear lies in me, and the future is what I make it. The darkness and the light, my thoughts, my dreams and everything that makes me who I am as an individual lies in my heart. We only allow to let darkness or light into us, and however you choose to live whether its good or bad just remember its you that opens your heart to whatever is trying to get inside. I would want to die a peaceful death and leave my life worry-less and no more fears and lies. I would want to die with a peaceful heart and soul, and leave behind nothing but closure for everyone that was in my life. Leaving behind no sadness for anyone only peace and lessons for everyone, because everyone deserves a chance at a happy life ! =]

I really enjoyed your post, and I find you brave and honorable. Bless you and everyone around ! Thanks for serving !

I want "toy Soldiers" by Martika to play.  It's probably one of the most powerful songs I've heard in a while.

Either that or "one Tin Soldier" by Coven.  Such a great song.

The way I would want to die is calmly in my sleep.  I'm not a fan of going out in a "blaze of glory" as death is a very serious matter.
