technology need suggestions for new PC

i could use some suggestions for a new pc because my laptop is a broken mess and i've grown sick of it overheating all the time, so i need a new pc to fufill my time in life

some info below

 

-preferred if below 1000 quid

-preferred if can run games smoothly

-MUST be a pc tower 

-preferred if pc is robust

Well do you want a pre-made computer? A custom build or a Self Build?

 

Generally Self-building is better and cheaper but you need to know what you're doing otherwise you could break something and it'll cost you.

I would prefer something with an i5 processor and Intel HD graphics. I picked up a computer with them specs around 500-700 dollars. Also, it ran at 3.77GHz, so very good computer. Though if you want something that can run big games like Skyrim, you might want to considered spending around 1500 dollars.
