It mustn't be an invasion of privacy... you can pretty much disable all that shit...

And for viruses, stay away from weird internet sites and you should be safe...

And I wouldn't exactly store passwords on a phone...

Jonas, if you're on a computer, your security is compromised in some way, shape, or form. 

 

It's not a question of if someone has your Social Security number, it's a question of who. Odds are, someone out there who isn't you knows your Social Security number.

This is not helping in any way. Now I want to quit being on the computer.

 

My question of being safe online and about viruses arose when I heard that Vinyl had sent viruses :(. I feel really unsafe being here now

Well the truth isn't always nice. What do you want me to say? That all is safe here? It's not. But if you stay away from dodgy sites and don't open suspicious emails, you'll be generally fine. You don't need to disconnect everything to be safe. You just need to exercise a level of discretion on the internet.

You do realise it wasn't technically a virus. I effectively just plugged a little stick into anything I wanted to be effected and had it mess with the electronics. It can't be sent, only the activation signal can be.

I don't think it is helping because I don't think it is all completely right :T. I don't believe it is just simple as that. 

 

And I know about emails and that kind of things. My problem was NOT that, it was that now I know about someone who has sent out virus here on the forums and I feel really unsafe :(. If there is something I don't like about technology, those are viruses.

Anyway, I guess gay marriage is legal in the whole country now. And there are people outraged by it. 


I totally didn't see the Supreme Court striking down bans. :P

 

But really. I knew it would be legalized.
