gaming Kerbal Space Program!

I do often play KSP. I can atleast launch a rocket into orbit and land on any moon of kerbin. Used to use the mod Mechjeb alot but quit using it because it felt abit cheaty. KSP does have a learning curve but once you know how to control your rocket and the steps to get onto orbit it becomes pretty easy. Doing stuff like docking still poses a challenge to me and doing interplanetary transfers I just can't seem to figure out.  

Hardest part of interplanetary transfer for me is fuel consumption, I use the nuclear engines as they are the most fuel effective. I was going to make a space-fuel station, but a minmus base was more appealing and a bit easier, and a bit more versatile for my purposes

I heavy overbuild my rockets so fuel isn't an really an issue for me. The hardest part I run into is just figuring out how to transfer to other planets sometimes I get lucky and I don't have to sit for hours tugging on maneuver nodes just to get to Eve. Gets to be a pain after while.

Ah, well everything should get slighlty easier in career mode as I just unlocked the mighty Mainsail Engine.

I also want to make use of the Energia Soviet Shuttle Booster that is in the mode I have installed, the two boosters have 7500KN of thrust each,same for the primary center booster.

I seriously can't be the only one on here that play's Kerbal Space Program, right?

I picked title during the last Steam sale and I don't regret buying at only 40% off one bit. Even though I've only gotten ONE FREAKING ship in orbit. XP Trying to launch a Mun lander's gonna be tricky too, 'cause it's not letting me connect my Apollo-style craft to a single rocket. :/

People have done some crazy things in this game and it's why I love it so much. I grew up wanting to be an astronaut and keeping an eye on NASA's shenanigans, but never had the capacity to pull it off. Now that I have this game I can live out my fantasies and get a feel for how real engineers and astronauts have to go through just to simply get off the ground. Sure it's hard as balls, but that's rocket science for ya. You think it was easy just a put a man in orbit, much less land one on the moon? Ask an actual staffer from those projects and they'll tell you otherwise.

i enjoy ksp but i have gotten so bord i activate some of the cheats just to see if i could land on the sun with a shop destined to fail...

poor jebs cockpit exploded by overheating before landing so he died for almost a good cause

 

or i even flew to the moon and back using only rcs thats fun lol talk about a hard take off its really fun using only rcs if you pack enough fuel tho

Time to bump this!

I recently started playing this game, (thanks, Daring!) 

It's a ton of fun building rockets and sending them into space. Career mode is my favorite. So far, I've only managed to break the atmosphere, but I'm gonna shoot for the Mun! And also possibly Duna, Jool, and maybe Eloo if I get far enough. I can't wait to see more content, and I hope Squad adds more to the universe, maybe expand it to more stars and planets!

 

Oh, and I made this in sandbox mode. Don't ask.

Aw man, I remember this! I haven't played it since 0.2.5 and most of my work was done in 0.2.4.2 (hail the mighty Kerbodyne, lord of all Kerbin). I used to build rockets and such, but after I installed B9 Aerospace, I discovered my love for aircraft. Using Mechjeb, I've managed to get a working guided-rod orbital bombardment station, and using ProcWings and B9, I managed to make the XV-89 Fyresturm, currently in Mark I/4 stage. (God damn it, KSP, why do you keep needing me to fix the aerodynamics of BDArmory missile racks?)

 

Anyway... I just really like Kerbal Space Program. If anyone asks nicely, I'll tell them about the Sol I orbital probe that ended up on Duna.

 

 

Speaking of orbital bombardment stations, have a picture! (Currently, the only Kerbal crazy enough to man this station for long periods of time is Bubfred Kerman. He's a badass.)
