Pegasister girlfriend or Brony Boyfriend

If I had a gf (I don't  :( ) I would prefer to have her be a pegasister. In my opinion, a girl who is a pegasister is significantly more desirable than a non pegasister

I tried getting me ex-girlfriend into the show for a while, that didn't work out (and neither did we in the end lol) But yeah, i think it would be awesome if did find a girl who happened to be a pegasister  :P . Nothing to say about guys though, not exactly my thing.

Honestly, I don't care if they are or aren't a brony/pegasister, if they didn't judge me for it then they are alright with me, though I can see the major plus of having a brony/pegasister as a bf/gf since watching new episodes together could become a weekly date type thing whenever the show is on :P also, it would mean that if you were arranging a date likelihood is you would both want to avoid scheduling it when an episode was released so you could still watch it without seeming like you were rude. Still, I doubt I will be in a relationship any time soon, college means I am busy and I just don't get to talk to anyone much.

I wouldn't mind a brony as my boyfriend... as long as they love me I couldn't care less about whether they like mlp. If they do it would probably just add up to something that would make them more amazing. :adorkable:

Dating a fellow fan would be nice, but I honestly have no intentions of having a love interest in my life. I feel the need to be alone a lot and maintain a relationship like that doesn't interest me at all. Of course, having close friends who love the show would be enjoyable. I just don't want to date.

You both made each other a brony? How did that happen if neither of you started out as a brony?

well, we've always been friends and one day i heared about 'bronys' and i thought it would be something for him, he gave it a try and became a real brony and i also watched the first episodes and some stuff on youtube but forgot about it. Later frosty told me to become a real brony and watch more episodes and i did and i bacame a real brony too :)

Doesn't matter to me, I just want someone LOYAL that isn't going to LEAVE me. Unlike previous encounters where the girl is all confused and doesn't know what she wants.

I wouldn't mind if they liked MLP or not, but if they didn't like it, the least they could do is accept that I enjoy it. (previous relationship gave me so much stick for liking it)

Y'know, I wonder if it is such a good idea for female users here to post in this thread implying they are single and would be okay with a brony boyfriend...  What happens is, the female users end up quite quickly receiving messages from male users on this site, who are obviously trying to date them.  I know this from experience.  At least 2 of the members wanted to meet me in real life ([sarcasm]That's definitely safe.[/sarcasm])

I thought the "Finding your special somepony thread" was removed to stop that kind of stuff from happening?  To stop male users from trying to date girls at any chance they get?  Now, do the girls here send messages to male members as a means to try to date them?  No; that never happens.  Because gender roles or something.  Or girls are usually far less desperate (and I am certainly not desperate).

Not that I'm complaining...other members, who are female, might find the attention to be a little weird or annoying though.  I myself do not mind messages (that's why I posted in here before); however I would find it pretty strange if 5 or so male members here message me all at once and are interested in dating.  In fact, that could even be considered disturbing.  Being put on a pedestal and complimented based solely on gender?

There are so many reasons it is exactly like you describe it. 1. Gender roles, men are expected to make the first move and ask a girl out 2. It seems way easier and way more comfortable for girls to find someone; girls tend to be way more social, contributing to this 3. Guys tend to be more hormone-driven, have a higher sex drive and thus are more likely to come across as "desperate"

In addition, there are so many more males than females in the places guys usually reside on the internet, for example, in the brony community.

Man, getting a pegasister girlfriend would be the best day of my life.

I just gotta keep quiet about my love for the show, in case she isn't a fan herself. NO WAY IN HELL would I come out as brony to her if that's the case. I'll have to pretend that I hate ponies if I have to. She's gonna break up with me, really.

Even until now, I still don't have the guts to come out as a fan to anyone without feeling awkward. I've told a few of my friends, but I was just lucky that they were accepting and didn't give me sh#t for it.
