Could be possible a second MLP movie?

I'm wondering if it's possible a second movie of MLP after the end of the oncoming Season 4. 

 

 

And whether that were possible. Then, what could be the central topic?

Hmm, it could be possible. Quite a few TV shows have used it to round up their adventures, such as The Inbetweeners. It would also be a really nice "ending note" for such a successful show as ponies.

 

I hope if they do make one, they don't try anything as risky as Equestria Girls was. They could all stay ponies but fight a villain in a feature-length film. That would draw in a great crowd.

I think the end of season four is way too soon, but there could definitly be another movie just gotta wonder what the setup would be

It most certainly is possible and I could see it as a fitting way to end the series when the time comes; end FiM on a high note that it deserves.

 

 As far as the premise, I could not see anything along the lines of Equestria Girls.  I enjoyed the movie well enough for what it was but the story was pretty much self-contained and a sequel would be unnecessary.  Honestly, I would like to see Sombra as the antagonist as I see so much potential in his character (if and when he is fleshed out some more) that he could be a real threat to Equestria.

In terms of having a sequel to Equestria Girls, no. If the ideas in the original had a better execution and were more interesting, I might be more open to the idea, but at this point in time, I don't want a sequel to it, and I don't think the film's fans really want one either. It was a one-time deal on Hasbro's part, and I think they've milked out all the promotions and merchandise they could with its release.

 

Now, in terms of a legitimate pony movie (you know, with actual ponies) I'd completely support it if it had a creative plot behind it that has a lot of potential within the universe of Equestria, but I don't think we're going to get one from Hasbro or DHX, sadly.

However, a brony animator named Eric Ridenour is currently making a fanmade full-length film called "Journey of the Spark" that takes place in the canon of Seasons 1 and 2 and is currently slated for a 2015 release. Hopefully it gets off the ground, because the trailer they released last BronyCon looks really good, and could turn into the grand fantasy adventure that most fans would want to see in a film based off of FiM.

It's a possibility of having a second movie, if it can draw more toys for production. So, I just hope this time it won't copy the pace that Equestria Girls went and has them still as ponies fighting another villain that has potential in which they can execute it well.

With how popular MLP is, It is possible that another movie can be made. In fact, I'm willing to bet there will be another movie. If Hasbro does go through with it, I hope they stay as ponies. Equestria Girls was good, don't get me wrong. But I would like to see the ponies as ponies this time around. Maybe make a new powerful villain for the main six to face or bring back an old villain like Sombra or Chrysalis.

Anything is possible, especially if the first movie made money. If it lost money then then we won't be seeing a second movie anytime soon.

Still I would love to see a movie that is set in...Equestria.

I would be surprised if there wasn't another movie. It's an easy way for Hasbro to release new toys and I think I can safely say that most fans would like to see one and the creators could make and explore things that they wouldn't be able to in the show. Not making more movies would just be a wasted opportunity in my opinion.

Didn't MLP's second movie came out in the 80's sometime? Or maybe it was the early 90's I'm not sure when it happened but I know it has. So yeah, not only could a second MLP movie happen it already has.

Oh yeah. Even with the extremely low expectations before Equestria Girls came out, it was a huge hit with bronies. I doubt they would stop making them now.

I wouldn't mind a second movie, I loved the first one! Loved it so much I pre-ordered it a month before release!

It did make quite a big profit as well, to my understanding. I was surprised that the movie was showing in a theater close to this small town I live in. But, I trust in the MLP staff. If they make another movie, they have my full support!

If another movie is made I think it will be around the ending of Season 5 to the ending of Season 6. The ending of Season 4 sounds to close to me since they just released Equestrian Girls not that long ago. But since Equestrian Girls was such a hit I'm sure Hasbro will eventually do another movie. The question is will it be a sequel to Equestrian Girls, or a new movie with just the regular main six as ponies?

It would be really disappointing if the only movie we got out of this generation was Equestria Girls..
Even though I liked EG, I doesn't really take advantage of the fact that it's a movie..
I mean, think of all the OTHER adventures the Ponies could have that would fill up an hour and a half.. We could have some proper world building here!

But this is all hopeful nerd ranting.

But still, the older generations got TONS of movies out of them, and considering the success and popularity of this generation.. Yeah, it IS possible..
I just hope they don't make a big boob-up of it and make another huge expensive excuse to sell more toys.. Maybe they'll turn into cats or something

I think another movie is almost garenteed, by the end of the series, i just think it would be odd if they didn't.

 

Plus all they have as a movie is EqG's and thats mostly not even in the MLP universe.

 

So yeah, i think a movie will be out by the series's end atleast.

 

Whether it'll be the end of S4? Idk.. Who knows when, i kinda think they may wait till S5 or a bit before S5 or after it, assuming they have a S5.

 

But who knows, i have no idea, but i think there should be, and probably will be a movie by the series end.

Yeah, I think another movie could happen. In the EqG DVD behind the scenes they sort of joke about having the ponies visit other sorts of dimensions, which they were probably kidding about mostly... but hey, at this point I wouldn't put it past 'em. A movie in the pony universe would definitely be preffered by me though, but I'm just saying.
