One month has passed since I joined the herd, and I already have received a warm welcome by many bronies and pegasisters, and for that I say thank you. Admitting I am a brony, does sort of feel odd, but for some strange feeling I feel like I belong here, it's so strange that a show that was intended for little girls could leave such a impression on me, has any other brony ever felt this way? My Little Pony Friendship is Magic really has become my favourite program on the Hub, and Equestria Girls has earned a special place in my heart, while some people may not like it or are indifferent, I like it and it does have redeeming qualities, if you give it a chance. I have given MLP a chance, and I am happy to say that I am a brony, but I would like know what do the other bronies or pegasisters feel or think, how does it feel to be a fan of My Little Pony Friendship is magic? Are you happy, glad or proud? Any feeling that you can sense when you see you favourite character or here your favourite song, and what it makes you feel.

I feel proud or the same.... or both. Only if some would give a chance before they judge it. I know my friend made the right chose to watch the show.

I think it feels pretty good to be a part of something like this, to be a part of a community this close knit and full of content.

Well, i'm technically a closet brony, but still i think my input still counts as being a brony to some extent.

I would like to say that i'm glad, i'm happy, because thats how the show, and the people i've met here through the show make me feel.

Before this show i was actually alot more depressed, pessimistic, and kinda bleh on friendship.

Now, since joining the forums and watching the show i've begun to feel happier, feel as if i belong and am cared for by people for once, and i also value and even long for friendships. (Unfortunately good friends are hard to come by :/.)

Regardless i'm glad, i wouldn't change the fact i'm a brony, but to tell others would only bring trouble i believe for me, not pride or freedom.

Just me.

I still love the heck outta the show and you guys! :D.

Like Granddaddy always yodeled drunkenly in his leather armchair: "You can't like somethin' unless you can stand behind it! *Takes swig of high-proof alcohol* Because 'MERICA."

Anyways, Granddaddy may have been a little tipsy every once in a while all the time... But he sometimes had a point. It's just like a vehicle you personally picked out and purchased. Sure, others may be all like "Why the FUCK do you like that piece of shit?" and your all like "Because I like it, that's why!" You gotta stand behind what ya feel homies.

The way I look at enjoying the ponies is this: Sure you can express it via stickers on your vehicle, T-shirts and other crap, but you gotta stand behind it when asked about it.

Don't be all ignorant and always talk about ponies to people who give no shits because then it is just flaunting it. Just like if you are homosexual, it's totally groovy man, just don't be going around rubbing it on home-dawgs all day long. Sure, put a sticker on your Toyota and wear a fitting trucker cap to match, but don't be all up in people's shizzle with it. You dig?

Yeah, so mainly, in life you get the chance to drive the race car, don't step out of line and let someone else take your turn.

vroom.

I am glad to be a brony. It was because of this that I actually made friends for once in my life. I know I already mentioned that before, but I just can't stress enough how true it is. The people are kind, caring, respectful, and accepting for the most part.

post-19860-0-04490000-1380082779.jpgI joined the fandom not to long ago and its the best descision I ever made.

I mean I was kinda sad in life and when my friend showed me the show I thought I would hate it but I love it. I listen to the songs everyday while doing school online, and I wish I could go to bronycon but im only 14 and im basically broke.

I was very unsure on first days when I started to like MLP. I just kept in mind that it's a cartoon for little girls and felt a bit... strange when watching it. But soon I've just accepted it. I also saw (and still see) how awesome bronies are. I am glad to be a member of such awesome fanbase and will never forget about this part of my life even if it will end someday (hopefully not)!

Well, how does it feel to be a brony? Hmm that's a good question, people may be nervous about people finding out and maybe there are those who flaunt it, showing off their love for the show... me? Well, I think this song pretty much sums it up...

I'm really happy to be a brony, but I wouldn't say I'm proud.

There are so many great things in this community, and this show is simply wonderful.

And it's great, we now have awesome forums here, I love forums, and this is the best I have found.

I'm very proud to be a brony.

I would never have thought that one day, I'd be apart of something so big and beautiful.  Something with so much deeper meaning to it, something with so much love.

The brony community is a community that doesn't judge you.  This is because most of us are judged for being a brony.  The brony community is a community full of friendship.  This is because MLP teaches us things, even if we don't think that it does.  The brony community is full of creative people.  It is quite a mature community in fact, although that may be hard to believe since we watch a little girls show!

It's not like...let's say the Twilight fandom...  We are so often judged for liking something that they see as childish.  And since MLP does have lessons in each episode, we do end up learning a bit as I said earlier.  And we have learned a lot.  Not just lessons from the show either, but lessons from our experience of being apart of this wonderful community.

So...it does make me very happy and very proud to be apart of it.  It makes me feel less alone and it makes me know that there's someone out there who understands and who cares.

Wow, okay, I just wrote...wow, okay...

I have noticed a 5000% increase in fluid motions, flamboyant behaviour, excitement, friendships forming with complete strangers, and the colour sky blue! Oh, and an increase in drawing ponies on the board and watching my clueless classmates faces as they slowly notice! Overall, I've gone from being John to being the closest thing to pinkie pie you'll ever get! (I still don't buy the figures, though. I think they're crappy)

For a long time I was very nervous about telling my friends I was a brony. At first it was hard to admit it to myself even. Then when it actually happened my experiences were really positive. I'm pretty damn proud to be one today. This is pretty much the only real community I have ever felt like I had a place in. It's strange but I feel like I belong here. Not too long ago I thought bronies were strange people who I just couldn't understand. I have never thought I would ever proudly consider myself one of them (us). I have never seen such a welcoming ,understanding and creative community. Not just the show but the people had inspired me here to create things after a long time. I am really glad and proud to be a part of this biggrin.png and I really hope our community will stand the test of time in the coming years and after the show wraps up.

Honestly, I am really glad and somewhat proud too...

From all of the fandom that I've been in, this one is the most friendly. No conflict of any sort and even this brony with the ponies and stuff gave me something to do besides playing video games all the time. I'm drawing again and writing again. And being in this forum with other fellow bronies made me feel safe and happy, makes me want to smile as well.... :)

You know I personally wanna say "nah it has made absolutely no difference to me" but like, I started animating and drawing again thanks to the brony folks and like... I dunno thanks to being part of this it kind of hit me that I'm an artist. I'm a bad artist right now sure but like, I definitely have a passion for it.

So uh, thanks fellow bronies... I think!

Just editing my signature to say that my behavior on here was cringe. I don't regret the friends i made but man i was cringe here

Soooo proud to be a brony. People may look at me like if I'm crazy, but hey, they could think whatever they want. Being a brony has opened my eyes to lessons that I probably didn't learn as a young one.

One word. Proud. Proud to be part of such an awesome community. Why? because being different is not a crime. Liking something a bit weird is not a crime. We have the right to. We are free. The show made me realize lots of important stuff since i've never had actual friends. Most of em are just there to benefit from your skills and I despise this kind of people. Being a brony is a self signature among others, why can't we be treated like anime fans? or adventure time fans? or any other show fans? We have our own world.

closet brony
I used to be that. But i learnt that trust should be given a try and for now only 2 people know that i am now, because they don't judge me? They are not biased. Give it a try you won't regret specially when they will become understanding of such love towards the show. PS: they actually gave it a try and liked it but do not consider their selves bronies. Still they are friendly enough to accept me. Edited by Sir. Rayray

'How does it feel to be a brony?', that's a question you could discuss about all day andstill not come to a clear conclusion.

What can I say? I still feel like a human being. I still feel the blood run through my veins. I still feel the air filling my lungs. So I guess I feel mostly the same.

And yet something is different.

I admitted to be a brony before, but since I've joined the forums, I feel more confident in my actions. I feel like I want to get off the computer and out of myself to do things with more significance. I feel, like I am, where I am supposed to be.

Even though this is the first community I ever really joined, I can't think of a better one. I may be uniteresting and only a handful of people is paying attention to me when I'm around here, but I'm still enjoying my stay here.

So yeah, I guess to put it straight I'd say:

It feels just right.
