Wubsie 1,123 December 27, 2012 Share December 27, 2012 The return of harmony part two made me tear up a bit. Ok I cried. But at two things. 1) When twilight shed a tear and turned grey. 2) When Twilight figured out what friendship truly meant and brought the elements of harmony back together. It was amazing. Stalliongrad 982 December 27, 2012 Share December 27, 2012 I cried during Hurricane Fluttershy because that episode is in essence my childhood. I was a very very very very shy little girl. I didnt participate in anything when i was a kid. Then when i did go for sports everyone else was at least 10x better than me. I dont think ive related to a fictional character so much ever before but that episode had me crying all the way through. 2 ~Signature Awesomely Made By Frozen Mint~ http://mlpforums.com/page/roleplay-characters/_/crimson-star-r1439
Spartan 433 December 27, 2012 Share December 27, 2012 I must admit, i got close on a few.. but the closest was Hurricane Fluttershy.. NO ONE MAKES FUN OF FLUTTERSHY! Also the Apple Family Reunion, atleast the falling stars parts :/
TheBreech 91 December 27, 2012 Share December 27, 2012 Only the manliest of tears... Lol, jk. Seriously, does Discord's first episode count (I can't remember what it's called), I wasn't crying from sadness more laughing so hard at Fluttershy Trolling the god of Chaos (I'm smiling at the thought of it). Though I do get some heavy feels watching Party of One, especially that moment when Pinkie gets all happy again. I actually lovethe feels I get when I see that miserable to smiling and happy flip. When I see that I do want to cry but once again... Only the manliest of tears... I am an expert in whatever you don't call me out for not really being, and don't know enough about to realize I have no clue what I'm doing
~Vallo~ 409 December 27, 2012 Share December 27, 2012 (edited) I've never cried, but some episodes have creeped me out. Remember "Lesson Zero"? It's scary watching he mental state slowly crumble. Kenny 232 December 27, 2012 Share December 27, 2012 I think I have cried a few times, but the most notable one I can remember was listening to the Find a Pet song for the first time. It brought me tears of joy because it was such a beautiful song that came out of nowhere.
Shift 4,272 December 27, 2012 Share December 27, 2012 No, it's ridicuosly hard to get em to cry. I haven't cried in a year. I haven't even cried for My Little Dashie, though I found it sad. The only episode that I found sad though was in Secret of my Excess. The Spike x Rarity scene was very well done. Have the courage to think and act on your own. And have the courage to disobey. ShyForever 284 December 28, 2012 Share December 28, 2012 I cried for A Canterlot Wedding. What formed my tears was the Big Brother, Best Friend Forever song. This song reminded me of my big brother, and how we used to hang out every chance we got. But he is gone now, and he passed so soon. Some people just don't know how to drive, and I wish that we could have more time to spend together. But this song really brought up memories and made me cry. Doctor-Whooves 288 December 28, 2012 Share December 28, 2012 I like to think of myself as a manly man brony, but I did tear up a little bit during 'Putting your Hoof Down', when Mean Fluttershy was yelling at Pinkie and Rarity. 1 Signature by myself Signatures, Avatars, Wallpapers! Whofch 128 December 28, 2012 Share December 28, 2012 I can choke up or have my eyes get all moist quite easily at times. At others I can go through anything without a reaction. It's very odd. The most notable scene in the show which gets me every time is when it zooms in on Sweetie's arts and crafts thing, the heart she made for Rarity. Even when I know it's coming, a lump will still form in my throat. There are plenty of other occasions which gives me the serious 'feels' but none that really stand out as much as that one. 1 We were meant to rule together, little sister...... SongBrony 419 December 28, 2012 Share December 28, 2012 The first MLP episode to ever make me cry, was Sleepless in Ponyville. They were happy tears, not tears of sorrow. I hope they have more that can do that tome!
TooTsaka 43 December 28, 2012 Share December 28, 2012 I haven't cried, but I did tear up at times. The one episode that does it to me again and again is Hearth's Warming Eve. I watched it like nine times within two days and seven times tears were welling up and it's a combination of this scene: and this song:
chrisalis1 1 December 28, 2012 Share December 28, 2012 I haven't ever really cried during an episode, though I have teared up a few times. Though I bawled like a baby at My Little Dashie.
Regality 233 December 28, 2012 Share December 28, 2012 "Hurricane Fluttershy" was pretty sad, but it didn't make me actually cry. In fact, the only thing I've ever watched that made me come *very* close to crying was the ending to Les Miserables. ~~
Derpbow Crash 1 December 28, 2012 Share December 28, 2012 The only thing that has even come close is A Canterlot Wedding, because of Twilight's song about her brother. It just made me teary-eyed, though.
Heartstrong 12 December 30, 2012 Share December 30, 2012 I teared up in Suited for Success, when Spike made Rarity walk out on stage and take credit for the horrible dresses that everybody hated. I just felt so bad for her
FoxyCryptid 4,330 December 30, 2012 Share December 30, 2012 (edited) The Royal Wedding in a way, especially the music. It was so nostalgic it almost brought me to tears of pure joy. It was like being a kid again sitting mystified by a Disney movie, I can liken it to hearing "Circle of Life" for the first time all over again. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vX07j9SDFcc Edited December 30, 2012 by Shoboni 1 "You know, I don't know who or what you are Methos, and I know you don't want to hear this, but you did teach me something. Antismurf9001 1,271 December 31, 2012 Share December 31, 2012 I don't tend to get emotionally involved with television shows, or movies, or any sort of media. However, I did tear up for the final scenes of Sleepless in Ponyville (Scootaloo's admission to RD up until the end), which I found absolutely beautiful. The sole fact that this episode caused an emotional response from me (other than laughter) is my reason for naming it my favorite episode. 2 "Ceterum censeo background ponies delendas esse" - Stellafera Credit for the Octavia vector goes to the awesome Harmonic Revelations Credit for the creation of my avatar and signature goes to the amazing Wubsie Once again, thanks! Scootalove 10,689 December 31, 2012 Share December 31, 2012 I cried when Sweetie Belle made that crystal heart, for Rarity in the Sisterhooves Social episode. It really showed that when you have a sister or any sibling for that matter, you have to treat them with respect and they will treat you with the same thing. 1 Credit: Moony © Forum FAQ Forum Rules
AustralianFries 213 December 31, 2012 Share December 31, 2012 (edited) Nope. I can safely say that an episode has ever had a big enough emotional impact on me that it made me cry. I hope that's not a bad thing. But it does take a lot for me to cry. But I'd say about half of the episodes have made me uncontrollably smile! MallowMelt 17 January 2, 2013 Share January 2, 2013 Nope, not once. BUT, I think I might a bit with joy if Luna gets more of a serious part in the future somehow. Im glad she was in another episode this season, but it would be pretty perfect to see her maybe explain her time on the moon? Maybe do something with twilight? No idea
Scootalove 10,689 January 2, 2013 Share January 2, 2013 Well the only episode that made me cry was, Sleepless in Ponyville. That episode really made me, tear up. It showed a little soft side from Rainbow Dash to take Scootaloo under her wing and it made me think of a sister relationship. 2 Credit: Moony © Forum FAQ Forum Rules
Magic Man 222 January 2, 2013 Share January 2, 2013 I'm not a person who cries a lot, it's just me, and with My Little Pony, no, I would not say it's an exception. However, believe it or not, I'm still capable of emotion, and yes, whilst there were not episodes or moments that caused me to break down crying, there were still moments in the show that 'got' to me. This is because of just how much I've grown to care about these characters and what happens to them.
An Old Head 4,816 January 2, 2013 Share January 2, 2013 (edited) Does crying with laughter count? In all seriousness, I've never cried at an episode. Nor any fan fiction (though one part of Rainbow Factory was close to getting me). Speaking of fan fiction... there are so many comments here about My Little Dashie. It was pretty touching, but I felt like it was laid on a bit too thick. Edited January 2, 2013 by Flipturn
