For Nightmare Night this year I made my boyfriend's OC wearing a Dracula's costume.

We spent all evening trying to find him a name and the list was full of really silly names and too epic names. In the end we went for Nerull, the D&D God of Death.

I think is a fine name until we come up with something more character related. 

This is just part of the work as it should include my ponysona as well and a background but those will be posted in the following...days? Weeks? Well before Nightmare Night for sure xD

Very nice! All I have is one little critique, the front leg farthest away looks a bit too long.

 

But still, I really like his eyes and mane, they look awesome!

Is this any better? I did shorten it a bit and it looks certainly more anatomically correct. Still there is something wierd to it but I ain't sure what :/

Why thank you! I made my first Halloween outfits last year (inspired by the wizard of Oz) and I kinda wanted to make a couple of them each year :3 

 

Sadly I took a lot of inspiration from Sweety Bell outfit in Luna Eclipsed, I had in mind a much more ... "epic" cape but I wanted to keep the show style so this is the result.

Overall. It looks good too me. You have given where tick cannons compared to his upper arm and forearm.  Guess you want him have pretty strong hoofs. And also when look at later picture notice ghost shape, of the former front leg. Might be one of your shadow layers our highlight didn't change.

Looks really good

-the watermark is annoying as all hell

-the left foreleg seems a b it thick along the "wrist"

-the cape might look better going out a bit further to the right; at the moment it looks like its plastered to the hinflegs

-the "arm" part of the left wing seems a bit  knobby in places

-the perspective of the right wingtip seems a bit wonky (though I'm aware that batwings are a pain when it comes to perspective)

-is the eyes' expression supposed to be asymmetrical?

-the highlights in the gem don't match the ones in the eyes

That is adorable! Woah! A bat costume? I only have a "witchy" dress for halloween and I never really dressed for the occasion when I was younger, sadly is not celebrated much in Italy :<

 

I really like your drawing and the way you painted it, it feels really traditional ( I miss my color pencils  )

It's always really useful to have an outsider's viewpoint, at some point you look so much you work that you don't know what's wrong with it anymore xD

Why thank you! I usually do draw a sketch and then redo all the lining with the pen tool, a graphic tablet is really useful for this kind of works (or any digital work I guess).

 

I totally know what you mean :< in Italy its the same, lots of spooky stuff but no trick or treat which is really a pity, it looks like so much fun
