Country music. Definitely country music.

 

Its so F*cking annoying and all country songs sound exactly the same. The lyrics are exactly the same.

I can't stand country. The new stuff just sucks if you ask me. There's way too much of it where I live in Oklahoma. It's bastardized 9 out of 10 radio stations here. The rock station was even bought out and they switched it to country. That's actually when I quit listening to the radio.

 

There's a difference between old country and new country. Older country wasn't bad. The new stuff is awful. But you'll never catch me listening to country on my own accord. I have to be in a car with my parents on a road trip for that to happen. 

 

The closest I come to listening to country is folk. I actually kinda like folk.

I hate country, jazz, blues, folk, pop, power metal, nightcore, and just about everything that could be considered "hardcore" as well.

 

Unlike some of the people here, I am completely obsessed by EDM music. Dubstep, Drumstep, Electro, Glitch Hop, Moombahcore, Drum and Bass and the like, but I do not like Skrillex. None of his songs really have any emotion in them, while artists like Vexare or Braken put huge amounts of emotion in their work. Skrillex is overrated.

So true... There are restaurants I've avoided going to because all they play is country music. It just ruins the mood!

 

And my workplace ends up playing it at least 3 out of my 5 workdays. Fortunately we're allowed to listen to music while we work where I work, but in some areas of the store it's so loud I can hear it over my music, and sometimes I work without my own music (like when I work with somebody else) and I have to listen to it.

 

I hate to be a hater, but it's just sooo dreadful. And considering the fact that even here in Oklahoma it's a love it or hate it kind of genre (most people where I work hate it), it has no business playing over the radio.
