It was the semi-finals, which was Rarity vs. Pinkie. As fate would have it, Rarity, the underdog (Pinkie has won every single pony tourney on this site but two, for christ's sake. Hard to ever call her an underdog.) had a 126 - 121 lead.

 

Upon seeing this, a couple of angry Pinkie fans took it upon themselves to spam pictures of Rarity dressed as Hitler and try to intimidate Rarity fans into leaving the tourney. Because of that behavior, XFizzle, the host of the tourney, gave the victory to all 4 semi-finalists because "no one deserved to win." The numerous attacks on his character that followed the outcome eventually drove him to leave the forums and make a home at a different pony site I'm a member of.

 

All because a couple of Pinkie fans didn't want to lose. I won't lie, though - except for the pic lag that's being caused, the Pinkie fans have been excellent sports thus far in cheering on their pony I mean it when I say I hope this keeps up.

Well, the people running this are doing a pretty good job at making sure stuff like that doesn't pop up here again.

 

Honestly, no matter how much you love a certain pony, no one should take such drastic measures. Whoever posted those Hitler Rarity pics isn't exactly representing who Pinkie Pie is. She doesn't deface others and intimidate, she does the complete opposite

The twist, of course, being that all of the above is my stuff.

 

Because Applejack is just that kind of character. She's got a lot of facets to her that are creatively inspiring. I always love writing her dialogue because she is ridiculously fun to work with. Other characters, I have to fight a little to achieve their voices, but Applejack's tone is nice, nice and easy. 

 

As for video editing, AJ has had a lot of material in the past few seasons! She's sorely underrepresented in the PMV community, and since in the fandom the PMV community is sorely underrepresented, it's a big circle of underdog-hood! Why the heck is this? I DON'T KNOW. SHE'S FABULOUS. 

 

WHY ISN'T THERE MORE APPLEJACK STUFF.
