umm...I cannot remember the title...but it was a game me and a friend played...all you had has a flashlight and you walked around this school complex...the only thing you could do when you saw an enemy was run...

 

Also Resident evil two was scary...

I have not beat Siren yet, i should try to finish it LOL!

 

I still haven't beaten this game yet. One level takes so long to beat that I'm worn out by the end and I need a break. I think this game officially requires more stealth than Metal Gear Solid. At least with MGS, if your stealth approach fails you can still salvage the situation. If you get spotted in Siren, that's pretty much a guaranteed game over.

Closest thing to a horror game I've played recently was Metro 2033. Its pretty good but not all that scary, they revealed all the scariest things quite early on and then didn't do a whole lot with them. I need to get Amnesia, I played it at a friends house ages ago and it scared the hell out of both of us!

Well since everypony (including me) is so much in love with Amnesia I just have to suggest these if you haven't played them:

It's from the creators of Amnesia and is a MUST for all Amnesia lovers! Especially Penumbra: Black Plague since it's the best one. But if you're going to play them, play the first one (overture) first.

Well I would have said DOOM but it was already posted so I can only add "The Call of Cthulhu". I haven't played it yet but it involves H.P. Lovecraft. Thus it should be really scary. Quake can be quite scary from tome to time but it is more of a shooter than a horror game.

To be honest most of the games in this thread are pretty much "shooter" games
