technology Editing software types?

What does the community think of a good editing software? I mean like, the type of software used to make PMV's like Dash's Determination etc..

 

I would prefer one that is a bit simple and easy to learn, since I'm a bit new with this kind of stuff xD

After Effects is good with the video itself but really bad with the audio. You can try to make all the cool things and effects in After Effects and then set up the audio in Sony Vegas.
