Any Sick Puppies Fans?

So, anypony heard of the band Sick Puppies?

You might be familiar (maybe not?) with the Free Hugs video, but this group got their fame from that video, for one of their songs is used in it.

 

 

I got into them through a friend, but little did I know one of my favorite songs on the radio was by them. (With a name like Sick Puppies and being a rock band, they probably would've driven me away when I was just a bit younger with different tastes in music.)

So, discuss. :3

Anyway, I love Sick Puppies!

 

First time I heard them is when they opened for Three Days Grace at my state fair and I ended up liking the opener more than the main event!

 

Anyway I still like them and they are one of the few modern rock bands I actually care about!

I'd love to see them live again! This time preferably the main event.

I remember a friend of mine in highschool lending me one of their CDs. I thought it was the biggest piece of emo bull that I'd ever heard... and emo music doesn't usually bother me.

I've never heard of Skinny Puppy. I'm guessing something I should look into?

 

That was probably the first American-released CD. Their newer one is a lot less (as a friend said) "whiny and complainy", which is true.

I only know one song by them and I love that song. You're Going Down. It's an awesome song but when I tried to listen to their other music it just didn't sound the same. Maybe I just chose the wrong songs or something. lol

No but I'm generally not really a fan of acoustic versions of songs that were electric before.

Ahh, then you wouldn't like it. It's much much slower compared to the original. It sounds great to me, but very different to the original.
