[Nuclear Neurotic 56]

Nuclear rolled her eyes, stopping Spacer's spinning with her magic. "You'll make yourself sick like that." she said, trying not to let a smile show or a laugh leave her body.

"You better chill for a few minutes." Nuclear patted Spacer's back before noticing another mug of cider along side the glass of water.

"I should probably take my own advice." she thought, smiling as she levitated the glass to her mouth.

Dj Starlight uses her magic to poof a bit on the bar's table. 'Hey Traveler! Can I get some water please?!' She yelled across the room as loud as she could.

She wiped the sweat off of her forehead and sang to the music. Starlight threw some more glow sticks out into the crowd just to get them happier.

Green picked up the cider Traveller had poured for him, and took a sip from it. "Huh. This is pretty good," Green murmured to himself, then drank the whole thing. He tapped his chin with his hoof in a moment of thought. "Hey bartender, another vodka please?" he said.

Howard awkwardly tilts his head. Then he seats firmly.

"Bartender! Do you serve 'Red Brumby'? It's my most favorable poison!"

Maneison's words pronounce with nasally high, Sighing gently.

His grey silver coat glimmers subtly in the club light. Howard will wait, it seems... the pony is busy.

'Sure thing!' Traveller yelled back as he poured a glass of water. He handed it to a random Pegasus hovering around. He pointed towards the DJ and the Pegasus understood. He turned back to his bar. 'Sure thing.' Traveller said as he got out a vodka bottle. He poured a small glass and gave it to him. He turned to the new pony. 'Yeah, maybe.' He said as he checked an alcohol cabinet in the bar. He found a large bottle of the drink. He poured a glass and handed to the pony. 'Here ya go.'

"just cause you guyz are so awesome, i will chillax" Spacer said with a part smile before he hiccuped "Now...." he said as he got up off his seat and stumbled  to go sit at an empty booth "time to relax and socialize" he said plopping down in the booth waiting for a pony to pass by. He kept entertained by making shapes with the glowsticks on the table. His heading was swaying back and forth trying to concentrate with his tongue sticking out partly.

'Thanks, Traveler!' She yelled.

Starlight grinned at the Pegasus with her water, and thanked him with a wink. 

She sipped the water and poured a little on her hoof to put on her forehead. 'Ahhh what a relief.' She sighed as she continued Dj-ing for the huge crowd.

Nuclear rolled her eyes and levitated her drinks, slipping into the booth that Spacer was in. "I didn't mean leave the bar, you silly filly." Nuclear joked, setting her drinks on the table.

"Dang, remind me. How many did you drink?" she asked, taking a couple gulps of her cider.

"Thanks man," said Green, as he took a sip from the glass. Green's mind then went into a deep state of thought.

 

Okay Green, vodka has a lot of alcoholic content. So drink it carefu-ah, what the buck?

 

Green chugged the vodka down rather quickly. It was a party, after all. He wobbled over to the dance floor, then slumped onto the ground. In a slurred voice, he sang rather off-key, "This is the song that never ends, yes it goes on and on my friend, some people started singing it not knowing what it was, and they'll continue singing it forever just because..." on loop for a while. In contrast to his normal calm, rational self, Green was going wild with party exhilaration and alcohol.

Dj Starlight looked out into the dance floor, noticing a Green unicorn dancing and singing wildly. 'Yeeeeaaaahhhhh!!!' She shouted as she pointed to him. 'Shake it!' 

Starlight chuckled and took another sip of her water. She then adjusted her headphones on both ears and started up a new track.

"Ah! perfect!" Howard calls, pleased after tasting the sunset vodka-syrup.

He turns to the closest member seated, by his side (Green).

"Do you come here often? H asks, happily. The long work day has finally ended for him. He likes the idea of a nocturnal retreat.

"Oh i know you didn't mean leave the bar" Spacer said laughing at the joke "I moved here cuz...just look at this "He stretched out and covered half of the booth "You can do so much activities here" He said smiling at nuclear and straightened back up "As for ciders i've had...." Spacer looked down at the table and lined up the glowsticks "That many i think" he said pointing to the 10 sticks on the table "How many have you had? 16 million? I think you need to slow it down" he said as he put a hoof on Nuclear's mug "Or theres will be cider all over this table" Spacer said as his head leaned a little to the left

Having returned to the bar at a well-timed moment, Green replied to Howard with a still slightly slurred voice, "Well, it's more that my friend sort of dragged me here. He's a little eccentric, but still a great pony." He went on, "At the moment, I think he's searching for a mare to dance with. Say, what's your name?"

Comet's ears flicker and he lifts up his head as his favourite song starts. 'Maybe I should... Maybe I shouldn't...' He thought to himself.

"It's a party, no one will care if you can't dance... right?"

He got up and slowly made his way to the dance floor. He was a little rusty at first, but soon got into the music and let his moves flow.

"Hawgher-Glagpigh." he chokes though his drink. "sorry! Howard. Yes *ahem, splutter* Howard

Maneison." he spits at Green. The drink dribbles down the front of his chin and on the floor...

"Whoops" he giggles and tears up, the alcohol burning deep in his throat.

"excuse me." He jumps up and canters out to the restroom.

Well, that was really quite abrupt... Green thought to himself, and began tapping his hoof on the bar. "Uh... can I please get a cider over here?" he called to the bartender. Green waited for Howard to return. I wonder what Red is doing right now... Green thought to himself.

Traveller sighed as the bar orders slowed down a bit. He poured another cider and slid it to the Pegasus in front of him. 'Here ya go, like usual.' He said as he wiped the bar down again. He poured two more ciders and handed them to a drunk unicorn before sitting down on a stool behind the bar. 'So many orders.' He laughed as he wiped his hooves.

Nuclear blinked, awkwardly pulling her mug away to sip the cider. She half-smiled. "Oh, I'm perfectly capable of handling my cider. Don't you worry." she remarked, leaning back on the the cushioned back of the booth.

'Everypony seems pretty calm.' she thought, scanning over the dancing crowd. 'Maybe I won't really be needed to break up any trouble.' She chuckled to herself.

"So nuclear, how did you end up getting a bouncer job here?" Spacer said looking at the glow sticks on the table "You ever get a troubling pony or 2?" He picked up a glowstick and starred into its glow "These things are quite the sweet invention" moving the glowstick to the beat of the music.

"Hey! It was an accident pal! Calm down. Besides, it was obviously you who caused that, I can smell the alcohol on your breath!" Said Comet to an anonymous pony. He looked around and saw a few people looking at him with some frowns. He then noticed nuclear and decided to back down and head toward the bar again, hoping that something would poof him away with one flick of a horn. So far he had made more enemies than friends.

Rye looked at Bitter then back to spacer, Rye suddenly remembered a little trick he learned when he read the news paper, he pulled the glowstick from Spacers hand pulled off the top, grabbed the cup of water and put the opened glow stick into the water, instantly a green aura raised from the cup and drifted off to the ceiling continuously, "pretty sweet eh? Learned it a little while back, it's like your own Northern Lights right here!"

Bitter looked at the aura "yeah, sure is pretty"

"Anywayyy... Continue Nuclear, I'd like to hear how you got this job as well"

Nuclear shrugged, crossing her lower legs. "My roommates thought it'd be good for me to get a job somewhere else for a while instead of trying to help make ice cream." She took a sip of cider. "I'm not that good with-" She cut herself off hearing Comet yelling at another pony. "Hold on a sec." Nuclear said to Spacer. Her ears lowered, giving Comet a warning stare and a "I'm watching you gesture" with her hoof.

Comet banged his head against the bar repeatedly.

"Stupid stupid stupid stupid stupid. Comet you idiot, you're trying to make a good impression."

Comet headed toward the bouncer and the group and with a small apologetic voice and ears down flat says "C-can I buy any of you a drink?" He flicks some confetti string across the floor.

Spacer was mesmerized by the trick Rye showed him. After Nuclear told Spacer to hold on a sec, He starred at the northern light effect on the ceiling saying "Whoa i am impressed Rye, w..why arent u a scientist??" Spacer asked with a partly smile then noticed Bitter sweet and had to ask Rye "So are you two dating? look like a cute couple to me"

Nuclear's tough exterior was just an act put on for the job. When she heard Comet's tone she just smiled. "Oh no. I'm good. Also, I'm not as mean as I look. Just trying to do my job and keep everypony happy." she replied, smiling more.

"Why don't ya hang out here for a bit? You look like you could use a few minutes to calm down." she suggested.
