Which pony would give out the best/worst relationship advice?

Seeing as how we just had our first relation ship episode,

 

it might be a good time to focus on who you feel would give out the best advice about relationship?
and no you don't have to stick to the main six.

 

This is a hard one cause i can disqualify practically all of them for good advice, or rather advice that would lead to romantic success.

 

AJ

I think apple jack could give you conservative advice that would discourage you from persuing the matter, and likely remark on how you'd be better of focusing on your duties,

 

which might even be a valid point but hardly what you'd wanna hear.

 

Rainbow dash

Dash has been pretty solid as teacher lately, i just don't think this would be in dash's sage bag of wisdom and would likely make tactless barf noise. 

again a valid point but not what you'd wanna hear.

 

Flutter shy

That's a toughy, I mean clearly i could see her being tactful, but at the same time would she be able to speak up about a bad idea? 

 

Pinkie pie

You know i don't know what ever advice or scheme pinkie would suggest,

but i think it would end disastrously, but would be the the kind of disaster you'd look back on later with nostalgia goggles.   I think she's the front runner by default.

just cause she has the most experience in the matter and she's best pony doesn't exactly help this one time LOL. 

 

Rarity

I'm not permitted to comment on rarity, but the facts in evidence speak for them selves.

 

So i'd go with Pinkie as the best choice so when it fails i can act like she owes me a party.

Worse well... mathematically there is one pony who's made two poor relationship decisions we know off,

 

on the other there's the fact Apple jack seems like the kinda pony who's avoid relation ships entirely

i'd call that a tie.

 

Who do you think would be the worst advice-giver?

Best: Applejack, because sure she has not been in a relationship before but she knows that it would take some dedication and love.

 

Worst: That is pretty hard, but maybe Pinkie Pie.

Best: Definitely Applejack because she's the honest one. Plus, she'd probably be honest about your chances with a particular person.

 

Worst: I'd say Twilight because she'd just give a whole Dummies book on love when in reality she should be experiencing it

Best:  Applejack.  Even if she hasn't had a romance, she knows the ins and outs of relationships better than anypony else because of her family.  She's spent her life relating to numerous people:  Her parents, the Oranges, Granny, Big Mac, Apple Bloom, several friends, and many customers. 

 

Worst:  Pinkie Pie or Rainbow Dash.  They'd mean well but they strike me as the most likely to give misguided advice that could backfire on somepony.

Best: The Cakes. They've been married for a while, I'm assuming And before marriage comes a relationship and an engagement you need to survive! So who would know more about relationships than ponies who have the most experience? While relationships are unique, the experience is pretty interchangeable.

 

Worst: Spike. He's never done anything more than blatantly admire the pony he loves and not express his feelings directly which can give the wrong signals. He'd probably not be able to really be much help... he's just young and inexperienced.

Best: Applejack. For reasons, which were already pointed out before She's honest and understands how relationships work. She's also kind and cares about how somepony else can feel, so she would likely take into account every possibility and avoid hurting others. She always wants to make others happy, even if in more subtle way than Pinkie.

After her... hm, maybe Rarity? Or Fluttershy. Rarity, because she knows a lot about romance, though she's also always looking for drama and relationships must be approached with sensitivity. I don't want to say that Rarity isn't sensitive, just that sometimes she has a tendency to complicate things, which are actually very simple. Fluttershy on the other hand knows how delicate this subject is and would give you a good advice, but she would probably feel uncomfortable. 

 

Worst: Probably Rainbow Dash. She's a little harsh sometimes and too impulsive. It isn't a bad thing, but she isn't as tactful as AJ and it could cause problems.

Best: probably AJ, but I doubt she'd have much personal experience. She's too focused on the farm and work to have a relationship.

 

Worst: twilight. She'd try to do everything by the book and fail epically.

Twilight would probably be the best to go to for advice on almost anything.

 

Rarity would be the absolute worst.  And take a wild guess why.

Best:Applejack without a doubt, yes AJ may be a practical pony and probably will caution you about making sure that pursuing romance dosen't get in the way of doing what you need to do which is something many ponies wouldn't want to hear but would need to hear. But she has also shown a level of emotional intelligence, maturity as well as compassion. Just because AJ hasn't been shown to have a relationship dosen't mean she dosen't want one someday, since the apples are so family oriented I think it is likely that Applejack does see being a wife and mother as part of her future. She was the first to actually sense that there was a problem with Scootaloo in Sleepless In Ponyville.

 

Worst: A bit of a toss up between Rarity and Pinkie Pie. Rarity is a hopeless romantic which is great but not always realistic, she tried to change herself to impress a stallion for crying out loud. And Pinkie Pie has shown numerous times throughout the series that she has serious issues with personal space and might get a bit too clingy and possessive. Pinkie Pie has a strong fear or rejection and her going Pinkamena would be a huge stallion repellant. She also tends to treat things like games and while she can be serious if she has to be I don't think she will probably through a lot of trial and error before being sucessful in relationships.

Best would probably be Applejack since she seems the most level-headed out of all the six

worst would be Pinkie because she doesn't really look like the romantic type and Rainbow Dash since she doesn't have time for it.

Best: Applejack for her down-to-earthness and Rarity due to being the romantic type

Runner Up = Fluttershy

 

Worst(most hilarious): Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie, just the thought of them giving relationship advice sounds hilarious
