How's this season?

I'm pleased. It's hard to say I even hated a single episode so far. So all in all yea. It Is a pretty good season so far. Favorite episode I think would be daring don't.

It sits at a 3.75 (not quite a 4.)

This season seems to be hit or miss for me. Luckily, mostly hits.

 

Ones like Power Ponies or Flight to the Finish, though, some of the worst in the series as a whole.

 

But the ones like Castle-Maneia (my current SERIES favorite), and the most recent episodes have proved to be some of the greatest.

I honestly think Season 4's been great so far. It started off as just being simply alright (not great, just alright), but started to get a lot better by the time "Bats!" aired. Rarity Takes Manehatten made it into my top ten favorite episodes, and I also really loved Rainbow Falls, Pinkie Pride, Filli Vanilli, and Simple Ways.

Not even over, but I know that it's my favorite season. I know understand what Meghan McCarthy meant a long time ago; the writers are taking some risks, which all end up to be great. We have even delved deeper into Equestrian lore, had a celebrity cameo, and a reoccurring theme (The crystal box). I really hope that all the other seasons contain episodes that are this awesome and diverse.

I'm loving this season. I think it not only out did season 2 in the first 13 episodes for quality, but Season 4 is in very good position to dethrone Season 2 for best season of the show. There was only one episode (Rainbow Falls) that I really dislike this season, a couple of mediocre episodes (Daring Don't and Power Ponies) that I'm not satisfied with, the rest have ranged from pretty good to excellent quality in my opinion.

This is my favourite Season. I don't get why people are saying its so weak! They just wish they could bring back the old style of MLP. Well they have to evolve in order to keep up with the crowd that's growing up. Its been 4 years. Their probs 10 or older.

I have to agree, I think this is the best season so far!

I withhold my opinion of the whole season until it will be finished. But so far I can say that it's quite good and promissing to be as good as first one, definitely better than third one.
