Well i can't say I'm feared in my family our circle of friends who are NOT brony. If all else I just know they all acknwoledge it, understand and respect why i love it and um... some of them find it cute because it suits me? Dunno, so to say I'm feared for being a brony? Nah lol

I wouldn't say there's a widespread fear of bronies so much as the reason behind bronydom; the alien notion that strict conformity to gender norms is perhaps stupid and outdated can, after all, be terrifying.

 

Still, I guess if I lived in such a state of enlightenment as to believe that one can casually "catch the gay" from a children's cartoon, I suppose I'd be pretty terrified of bronydom as well. #PonyApocalypse2014
