movies/tv Frozen attacked for having Homosexual Agenda

I want to see the author's reaction to the many Elsanna fics that hang around everywhere. Four words for them

Have any of you even read the blog in question here? None of it seems "attacking",but it gets attacked by the posted article and people on this thread.

She goes out of the way to make it clear she is just stating her beliefs.

 

The issue here is, she brought it up. She also says there same-sex marriage shouldn't be legalized, which would be forcing her beliefs on the gay or lesbian couples that want to get married.

That is true, but the it wasn't attacking the way the posted article claimed it to be. She not crusading, just stating her beliefs. Her blog other than that is quite interesting though. I really enjoyed the connections she made, and it made sense for the most part. It really makes me look at the movie differently, though in my case, a good light.

Saying this movie encourages incest makes more sense than saying it's pushing a homosexual agenda. I read through her article and after weeding through the first half which was her ranting on in a loop about how homosexuality destroys society (lol), she just took the simple idea of "Trying to suppress yourself from others" for any reason and turning it into a bigoted rant about homosexuality. In the three times they saw this, did they ever once pick up on the messages of family and connections to others and how important that is? How others are willing to support you when you yourself cannot? Na, can't let their sight off of that ghost message floating around in the background.

I haven't read the whole thing because spoilers and I haven't gotten a chance to watch the movie yet. 

 

Also, off-topic(kinda): I have never seen it abbreviated as SSM like that so it took me a minute to realize what she meant.

Yeah, that's kind where my mind was going with that as well. I assumed she was talking about some fetish sub-culture I hadn't heard of until the pieces clicked and I was like "what does that have to do with a Disney movie?"

The movie is about sisterly love. It explains clearly that love is putting someone else before yourself. It is so obvious! It's why I love the movie so much. It finally has a resolution that doesn't require true love's kiss!

 

Okay, and this is also a teeny tiny bit off-topic, but I'm Christian and I'm more than just a little bit offended by some of your comments about us. I did a study on Mormonism and it is absolutely NOT the same thing as Christianity. They will tell you that it is, but it isn't.

 

As for my view on homosexuality, it's no one's fault but sin. If anyone comes up to me and says they're homosexual, I will not shun them.

Actually it's ironic because i read an angry tumblr post by a lesbian who criticized the movie because it didn't embrace a "true" lesbian love story and only "pointed" to one. It's really dumb to point to a platonic love story between sisters as incestuous when it clearly is not. People need to stop throwing in RL agendas to enforce their own belief system as it's very embarassing.

it's like people whining about the Lion King having the word "Sex" in the movie, and how the movie needed to be banned from all video stores. for starters, there was NO word like it, in the movie, and secondly, only those few people that felt it was their birth given right to whine and complain about the smallest of things, that claimed to have seen the word in question.
