Anyone else having trouble with Fighting is Magic?

I downloaded the Tribute Edition for Fighting is Magic today, and I'm trying to play it with my Eightarc Fusion arcade stick. It's PC compatible, and in the test runs in the Control Panel of my PC it checks out perfectly fine, but when I try it in game, the joystick doesn't work. The buttons respond just fine, so if I go into a match I can attack, but since the joystick doesn't respond, I can't move, jump, duck, block, etc. Is anyone else having or has had this problem? Also, does anyone know how I could fix it? Thanks in advance for your guys' time.

Probably an xinput problem. Try it with a stick native to Windows (An Xbox controller would be best) and see if that works.

No problem. I emulate, and I had the same problem with my PS3 controller. Feel free to message me if the previous fix doesn't work, and I'd be happy to try and help you get everything working.
