The movie was decent as a one-time thing, but I like things the way they are. What's wrong with ponies? Ponies are best ponies. If the originally featured them as humans I never would have started watching it at all. Because Mattel has Barbie and MGA has Bratz; Hasbro needs something humanoid and stereotypically girly to compete with. Because ponies are so hot right now, Hasbro thinks that's the best way to go. Not to mention Hasbro is infamous for running things into the ground. This figure, for example: Has been repainted and rereleased 5 different times between 2001 and 2013, and will probably be repainted again for future releases. The illogical part is this figures' repaints DO NOT SELL. Like AT ALL. Why Hasbro insists upon it is a Nobel Price winning answer. The last time a repaint of this figure was released, TRU stores reported that the other two new sculpts released flew of the shelves within a week and the new figures even sold out on the Hasbro website! This crappy figure, however, is STILL sitting on the shelves. Unless it seriously impacts on the show you originally fell in love with, i.e. Friendship is Magic, I don't think you need to worry about it. Compared to what? the 24 episodes that form the current season; not to mention season 5, that's over 500 minutes of pony. Appreciate what you're given guys, cuz' one day you might not have neither... I admit it could have been a lot better, what with all the random sub plots that got solved within 2-5 minutes. From what we've seen in the premieres and finales of the series, I would expect a lot more from them. If the second EQG turns out to be a copy of the first, with just a slightly different turn on the plot then I'll probably avoid watching the third until I'm either forced, or get so bored and there is literally nothing else to do. 1 Gotta love that derpy :3 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I will wait for #2 to be available outside of theaters and ill probably only go to the 3rd if there is a HUGE improvement in the 2nd. Btw, I remember that Spongebob episode.
