What sort of things do you collect?

It's more of a laid back hobby, I'd say. I don't normally go out of my way to pick up a knife; I buy as I see fit when I have spare change to toss around. Myers mask collecting, now that's a dangerous and never ending hobby. If you're not too careful, you can easily bankrupt yourself.

Really? I wouldn't expect there to be so many different kinds of myers masks

Care to elaborate?

Oh my @A@

That must make them pretty darn expensive!

Fairly. It's seen as a form of investment though. :)  Silver does fluxuate a bit, but you're basically buying something with a value based (mostly) on what it is, rather than what it represents, which appeals to some people involved with it.

Plus you get themed series, pretty designs, ones from different countries' mints...

I think I sunk $200 or so into the 7 coins I have. Though, I've seen videos of people's stacks going into like, the hundreds. It becomes impressive.

CD's and records. I actually got into vinyl not too long ago. I got my first turntable last Christmas and I've been slowly collecting ever since. It's a pretty fun and interesting hobby. XD

I collect...

- Ponies (G1 and G4)

- Stuffed animals (I pick up a stuffed animal from every museum or zoo I visit)

- Taxidermy (bones, pelts, tails, teeth, etc)

- Tea

My tea and pony collections are the biggest. Kinda dreading moving soon with my big stash.

To put it bluntly, there's over 100 different sculpts just for the mask from the first movie. Here's a good comprehensive list of the different masks there are: http://www.michael-myers.net/myersgallery/index.php/myersreplicas Some masks are molded took as the mask does in a certain scene, some to resemble the 1975 Don Post Kirk mask, and then there's also the fact that each movie has a different take in the mask as well as variation of masks within movies.

I love collecting breyer model horses. They are incredibly lifelike and all are hand-painted and molded in the U.S. They cost a fortune though(if $50 bucks is a fortune to you) but I love them. Oh and I have a truckload of pokemon cards.

The only thing I can say I actively collect is stuff for and relating to the Sega Genesis.

I miss having a Genesis

the games drove me mad, but I still loved them

which reminds me of the one princess pony game I used to play as a kid

Apparently it's called Crystal's Pony Tale

but it may have been where my love of MLP truly got started  :D

I despise clutter for the most part. I have very few personal possessions beyond clothes. I have a few puzzles and some board games in boxes under my bed.

The only thing I "collect" is Star Trek novels. I have nearly every officially licensed Star Trek novel ever written (close to 700), along with many of the unofficial ones. I have two bookcases, one small one and one huge wall-mounted bookcase that my stepfather took from an office in his building when the owners moved out and left it behind. It was from a lawyer's office, and was used to hold law books and files, so that should give you an idea of how massive it is. Anyways, with the exception of books and clothes, I have nothing else in any abundance to be considered "collectible". All of my music and TV shows (Star Trek being the only one I keep permanently to rewatch) are kept digitally, because as I said, I hate having stuff. When I had my own place, I had no decorations or knick-knacks, just clothes, books, and everything necessary to having an apartment: cleaning supplies and a few appliances. Everything was labeled and kept in it's place and you could have eaten off of every flat surface in my home.

I miss having my own place.

I want the plushies but they usually have that ugly brush able mane.. I don't like that =/

yeaaaaaaah

I gotta agree with you on that

the funny part to me is that they made a spike plush and his horns are solid...it makes me wonder, why can't the pony's hair be solid too?

EXACTLY!

It's hard to find a pony with a solid plush mane

I guess it's times like these where we have to remember this stuff is created for little girls  :okiedokielokie:

Exactly.

I mean, I'm a girl but even I don't find the little girl style appealing.

That's because we're older and don't just go for whatever

when you're younger, you're more likely to be excited that you can have a stuffed animal of your favorite character than how inaccurate or silly they look
