Awesome!

I play the ukulele too! :D

I also have an electric guitar, which I'm going to try and learn soon. ^^

I have a trumpet that I've been playing for 5 years but that's not a string instrument. :P

I've always reallyyy wanted to try either a violin or a cello.

Hey guys.

I started to play the violin just 4 months ago. i´m a quick learner and soon will try to play Sad romance.

I found some beginner tutorial on youtube that i will soon try out.

Good luck learning that song. A violin is a beautiful instrument.  :D

Hello [ChuckinBrony]!  Just so you know, I have moved your thread to the General Discussion section, as the Fan Music section is used to share your musical endeavors with other members to both enjoy and provide their input and opinions on your work.

And while I am here, I will say that I just picked up playing the violin not too long ago.  I have always wanted to play it since I was in the fifth grade but my mother did not agree with the idea for one reason or another.  So, now I finally have the chance to pick it up and see what I have been missing.

Sorry for the misplacement of thread, I'm still a lil' flly to the forums.         But I hope you're enjoying the violin, and its all you ever dreamed!  =]  That is lame how you're mother didn't allow you to play earlier when you wanted to. But I'm glad you are finally getting into it.

Not me! My mom has a couple of violins, but... I think I play enough instruments as it is, and all of my love needs to go for wind instruments!

Still, the other day in orchestra, I noticed one of the cello players using her instrument as an armrest, and I wish I could do that... xD Oh well.

Hahaha, I hope the chello was alright!

But I've never really grasped wind instruments very well. I had an ocarina and liked it, but it did not match my passion for the uke.     I love your OC by the way  ^_^

Yes! another uke player  :yay:

But the trumpet seems very fun, and electric guitars are rad.  (I'm actually building an electric ukulele) and I've wanted to try the cello as well.  Violins are very nice =]

I play Violin, Guitar, Vihuela and Guitarron this last two are mostly use in mexican folklore music known as mariachi, been playing since i was 7.

Wow very cool man!   I had no idea what a Guitarron was     Its very cool that you play that!

I've been taking guitar lessons for seven years now. My teacher (who is excellent by the way) only gives me classical songs to learn, but I've been playing a few pop/rock songs in my free time. Sadly, I can't stand musical theory lessons anymore, with a really awful teacher, and I still need two more years before I can continue with only guitar lessons, so I'll probably do one more year before stopping :(

The guitar I have is a gift from my grandfather. It's a really beautiful one, made in Grenada. I also still have a Raymondo from last year, which is too small for me and that we didn't manage to sell.

I'm an amateur on the banjo. Took one semester of lessons and have been teaching myself after that. I'm trying to learn some stuff from Everypony Sings but shockingly there's not a whole lot of banjo tabs. And my favorite song (Apples to the Core) is in clawhammer style and I haaaate playing clawhammer.

Classical music is wonderful though. I'd love to learn some classical song on the ukulele someday.  :)  An that guitar you have seems like its a great piece of sentimental history, I bet it sounds beautiful.

Hahaha I've heard clawhammer is tricky.  I'm actually learning Apples to the Core myself, maybe we could do some collab stuff together? Or maybe you could give me some clawhammer lessons :P

Electric guitar (7 years short 2 months), acoustic (3 years), viola (1 year)

non-string instruments: clarinet (2 years), piano (7 years)

All besides the guitar I just practised for the absurdity of it. My family tried to get into music several times in the past, giving up and leaving behind their instruments, and so I could take them and out-perform them in a couple days.

Given the choice at gunpoint, I would like to master the viola above all. A violin is fine, too.
