Considering that I live in Oklahoma, nearly all country. In the south, you eat, sleep, and breathe country and western.

I live in Oklahoma, and I most certainly do not "eat, sleep, and breathe country and western". In fact, I really dislike country music.

Perhaps it's not as bad in the Northeast region of the state? While country does seem to be played quite frequently at restaurants and the like, I hear mainstream pop and classic rock played just as much if not more. Out of everybody I know, opinions on country are very mixed. I think I know more people who hate it than like it, actually. =P

Sadly the ones that like it are the ones that get to bring stereos to work and blast it. -_-

I am always bashed on for being honest about not being the biggest fan of the majority of classic rock. I just find Metallica, and Sabbath so overrated because of hipsters pretending to appeal to the legacy of music that existed before the joke of a music industry that exists today. I don't particularly hate these artists. I just think that they get to much hype from people that don't even love them as much as they claim to.

Anything by Metallica or any other major bands from around those times.

I just don't like rock.

If there's no wubs, I don't want any part of it, lol.

Let It Go from the movie Frozen

I don't get what's so good about this song. :/

What's NOT good about it?

Although to be fair, some of the parodies are a lot better.

Anything by David Guetta, Calvin Harris, or any other lazy EDM producer.

But as far as songs that people REALLY seem to love for some reason, I utterly despise Get Lucky by Daft Punk. I have no idea what made this song so popular, it's easily some of the most soulless, uninspired drivel I've ever heard. The beat is an awkward, boring loop that couldn't have taken them more than 7 seconds to come up with. The lyrics are obnoxious, self-indulgent, and borderline nonsensical; representative of all the worst tropes in modern music, and the vocals couldn't have had less passion if they were recorded by Kristen Stewart. I don't even dislike Pharrell, but he clearly didn't bring anything close to his A Game, and he ends up sounding like he's just as bored singing it as I am listening to it.

While it's far from the worst song I've ever heard, it's still pretty crappy, and I have no idea why everyone seems to love it so much.

And yes, of course I hate #Selfie. I just don't feel like it's worth counting since I'm hardly in the minority about that.

Amoral cynic with a bitchin' vocabulary.

Check out A Century of Song if you like music from before this millennium.
