Their "food" sucks anyway, even if I got the happy meal which I doubt I would I probably wouldn't even eat it to be completely honest. Once you find out what is in this crap the thought of eating it becomes nauseating. It is still a bummer that there is no AJ toy but eh if I am going to get an AJ toy I am going to get something like this.

This seems like as good a place as any for a little story I have.

 

So, for my 29th birthday, my mom made me an MLP card.  (This was my first birthday since I became a brony, btw.)  Now, my mom's not an artist, and not computer savy by any means, so what she did was buy a card, originally intended for a little girl of course, then she cut out the picture inside, pasted it into a blank card, and wrote her own message.  The original card was of Pinkie, but it was really lame.  It just said something to the effect of "Pinkie wishes you a happy birthday."  ...L-A-M-E.  So instead, my mom made it into this:

 

(Note: my mom's card was handmade, but I photoshopped this in a couple of minutes because, believe it or not, it was easier than walking upstairs, scanning the card, putting the file on a flash drive, walking back downstairs, etc.  Anyway, same basic deal.  Really similar picture, same exact text, etc.)

 

 

 

Needless to say, I was pretty blown away.  Just loved it.  (I am getting to the part relevant to this thread, I promise.)  I mean, isn't that better than "Pinkie wishes you a happy birthday"?  I'm sure that in most cases, the people who make the merch have never seen the show.  But my mom nailed Pinkie's personality so perfectly.  You can just hear her screaming that message and getting louder and more high pitched until it's almost incomprehensible screeching.  Brilliant.

 

So, anyway, on the front of the envelope were some of those 3-D plasticy sticker things.  One of Fluttershy, Rarity, Twilight, Pinkie, and Rainbow.  Yup, that's right, no AJ.  I asked my mom why AJ was suspiciously absent.  She said those stickers came with the card, and there was no AJ.  Furthermore, she said the only AJ sticker she could find in that store had no hat and a pink mane.  My mom said that would have been an insult to Applejack, so better to just leave her off.  Bravo to my mom, I say.  (I should have said earlier; my mom's a pegasister.)

 

Anyway, THE HELL IS THAT?!  I always see all these "Why all the hate for so and so?" threads, and I've said before that I think those threads are silly because I never see any real hate.  But for AJ, it would be warranted.  Seriously, why does she always get screwed like that?  It's like she's the one they just stick on somewhere if there's extra room.  But in reality, I know exactly what the reason is.  She accounts for the least toy sales.  Maybe not by a landslide, but she's the least.  Somepony has to be least, after all.  So, therefore, Hasbro figures why waste their time marketing a pony nobody cares about?  Bastards.  I know, I know: let's see an episode where Twilight throws a huge birthday party in the Canterlot ballroom, and invites everypony in Equestria except AJ.  I mean, you wouldn't want to leave out Derpy or Octavia or Lyra or Vinyl or Silver Spoon or Mjolnir (being heavily sarcastic here.) 

 

Then, when AJ finds out and has her feeling deeply hurt, Twilight would say, "Oh, I didn't think you'd mind since...well...you know."

 

To which AJ would reply, "No, I don't."

 

And Twi would say, "Well, you know, you're...uh...," then in a whisper, "not very popular."  Then in a normal voice, "I mean, you know, it's all about the toy sales, after all."

 

Wouldn't that be a great episode?  (Sarcasm again.)
