movies/tv Favorite Classic Movies (any generation)

Everyone has to have a favorite movie somewhere, whether it's old or re-vamped in HD. What's yours?

Mine is The Fifth Element featuring famous movie stars Bruce Willis, Chris Tucker, and Milla Jovovich.

This has got to be one of my favorite scenes of the whole movie.

Updated note: Your classic can be anything! No discrimination of generations. :D

Well my favorite movie is: MV5BMTI2MTM4NjI4OV5BMl5BanBnXkFtZTcwMTE5

But if we are talking more along the lines of "Classic Movies" (I'm thinking stuff prior to 1980 basically) I would say this is my favorite (which is actually my second favorite movie): MV5BMjA5MTEzMzE4MF5BMl5BanBnXkFtZTcwMDAz

I know there's a place you walked
Where love falls from the trees
My heart is like a broken cup
I only feel right on my knees.
I spit out like a sewer hole
Yet still receive your kiss
How can I measure up to anyone now
After such a love as this?

The Princess Bride is my favourite movie and classic. I wish the title was a bit less... Well, girly and deceptive. It's one of my all time favourites and every time I reveal that, someone snickers at it for the name.

I  The Fifth Element so much. For a long time it's been not only my favorite Bruce Willis movie but my favorite action movie of all time.

On that note, things like The Matrix (particularly when you know ANYTHING about how computers and programming works) and anything animated by Disney, Pixar and Dreamworks. I can honestly say there is not a single Disney or Dreamworks movie I don't like.

ANY movie starring Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Something about making the acting so bad that it's good just... Calls to me.

"Q'sal, a singular, labyrinthine mind composed of a billion conflicting, paradoxical wills. Have you ever seen the swirling Aetherstorms in it's atmosphere? Smelled the shifting perfumes of intrigue upon it's people? Tasted the gluttonous banquets of ambition permeating from the Sorcerer-Technocrats? Heard the exquisite lies and thoughts of an unknowable population? No Slaaneshi pleasure I have indulged in comes close to that feeling, only in the embrace of Apotheosis could one aspire to find anything greater."

The lion king (nod)

I have seen a whole lot of the other movies like the fifth element and Jurassic park that I liked but nothing can beat the lion king for me!
