What if Snowdrop became canon?

Oh Dear Lord,I hope she never becomes canon.

 

Part of her charm is that it was a high-quality animation done by a fan.If she were to be used by Hasbro -- or heck,anything fan-made really -- then the charm and appeal would be gone.What made it special in the first place would be rendered moot as soon as it was made into canon.

 

Plus,do you really want a bunch of people sending in their ridiculous red-and-black alicorn OCs who also happen to be the brother of Discord and/or the father of Luna,while also being the holder of all seven Dragonballs and 10000000s of years old?That'd be a thing if any OC were ever made into canon.

if Hasbro ran some kind of contest!  I mean

the fan base not lack a number of good

OC's that could make it into the show! 

 

Having Snowdrop in the show would

be kinda cool if you ask or maybe

Eh, I wouldn't care too much, but sometimes things made by fans should stay as fan work. Honestly, as fine as the Snowdrop animation was, that is about as far as you can take the character and story, IMO. Plus, as another poster said, she has a special charm that might be at risk if she were on the show.

Eh, I wouldn't care too much, but sometimes things made by fans should stay as fan work. there are ways to mention to her without taking away that charm, such as not actually having her in the show but a nod to her like the stained glass window, to those who didn't know her it would just be part of the architecture but to those who liked her it would be something more.

It sure would be interesting for her to have an adventure of some sorts with the Mane 6, I feel. I would be for it, but it also isn't a *huge* desire of mine to see her in  the show either.

Snowdrop is overrated as Hell. I didn't find her cute and her voice was like nails scratching on a chalk board.

 

Put her in the show if you must, but if you do, I expect the cutting out of Derpy as an exchange for irritating characters that put Jar Jar Binks to shame

the best part of adding snowdrop is that it would open it up for other fan made ponies to make an appearance or be referenced in some small way or another.

I honestly didn't like Snowdrop, and if they added one fan-made pony everyone would ask for theirs to be in it as well.

I'd rather Snowblind from FiW to be canon. 

 

Nope  Snowdrop is ok (as overrated as she is), but making her canon would be pointless and a really terrible idea. Besides, the writers are intelligent enough to create their own stories and characters.

 

If it did happen, not even Snowdrop would see it coming.
