The first one was my attempt to be more in line with MLP's pink girliness and try to have some red in there, whilst the later designs just take the colors of my fursonas and things. They also look much more like MLP and even the name is changed. She began as Arylettpony made in 2011. Then was Fire Lily, and finally is called Artsy Dreamscapes. Her cutie mark never changed, but I kept changing its interpretation and special talent until now. Now it's just general creativity and the symbol's originality is a reflection of that. Red Cedar 1,408 April 27, 2014 Share April 27, 2014 My OC (Good old Red Cedar up in my avatar there) almost changed, but ended up not needing to. I created the general look and colour scheme of him first (Thank you, Pony Creator!) based on the idea I first had for him, before I had settled on the final design of his cutie mark. When I had that figured out, I was worried that the background of the mark would be too dark to stand out against the dark red-brown of his coat. Fortunately, it did, so I left him as is, but for a while there I was fully prepared to switch him to a light sky-blue colour, somewhat lighter than Rainbow Dash. The design above is the oldest I could find. But her first design was a pegasus OC with a black coat and a bright blue mane. (Because I'm lazy and I can barely draw a circle that looks round) Right now I'm in the process of making two OCs right now They are basically done but I'm using pony creator to make a few concept photos and when I feel I have enough concepts to choose from I'll settle on their appearance. When I first created the oc he was named 'XTHPony', had rainbow dash's tail and mane, and had green and red striped mane/tail. Now he's 'Alpha Hedge', has an original mane/tail, and has red and blue striped mane/tail+glasses. Character in profile picture is Pearl from Steven Universe.
