*ahem*

why wouldn't you buy a classic console or a new console to play an old game / a re-release of it?

And? Oh, is that it? Sorry, I thought you'd have a bit more of a reason to say that.

I've played XBOX 360, PS3 'n' the PC, and, honestly, you're lil consoles do the same thing. Stop stereotyping PC gamers to be people who want to show everyone how 'excellent' and 'exciting' a PC is. All platforms usually call eachother 'fags', use 'gay' like it's the only way to breathe air, and, well, fap on microphones. They're generally the same. That's outta the way, let's analyse.

PROS:(i'll be listing five so i don't drag it on)

CONSOLE:

Easy to use, just buy a game and turn it on.

Good interfaces with most consoles.

Graphics are usually sharp.

Indie market's pretty good for a start in game development.

Controllers are smooth and feel good in your hand.

PORTABLE COMPUTER:(yet again, five)

Hardware upgrades all the time, faster and stronger.

Shit ton of free games, whether they be flash or downloadable.

Keyboards. Easy to use, brilliant for chatting.

The mouse is generally nice and is great for FPS/Point+Click.

Getting Mods for games is generally easy.

CONS:(dundundun, another five)

CONS(ole):

Chat interfaces are usually shit, you're pretty much forced to buy a headset.

Communities terrible at points. Fuck up once and you're known as 'Sir Faggot McDickshire'

Indie market's for consoles generally have no standard, so you end up buying flash games for 5.99.

Pretty costy nowadays.

Too much gritty and brown FPS games on 'em. They should both be called 'Pistol 360' and 'Revolver 4'.

PORTABLE COMPUTER:

Communities terrible at points. Fuck up once and you're known as 'Sir Faggot McDickshire'

Good computers are pretty costy.

Mod downloading, at times, is as worse as your computer trying to survive without important files.

Search history bar Computer's are costy to fix at times, and can break easily.

Online gaming isn't as fun as couch buddy gaming.

WHEW! Jeez. That was a chore to write. Sorry for any spelling mistakes.

I think I've proven my point here.

wow mate you sure go through a whole lot just because of my opinion.... get over it man I'm not saying PC gamers are bad I will become one as soon as Xbox 360 Xbox Live goes down

Sadly this doesn't matter anymore, since it's coming to PC along with next-gen. Would be a great reason to go to consoles, imo.

  • 3 months later...

Because all of the other games have been on the PC and PC gamers also want to experience it?

Personally I'd love to see it on the Wii U too...

Other than mod support, I really have no idea. The whole 'graphics are better on PC' argument relies solely on a computer's hardware.

Could mine play it? Hell no.

The thing is not everybody wants GTA 5 on PC. The truely avid PC GTA fans who have played another GTA game before it being GTA 4 say that it would be a travesty to have GTA 5 on PC. Considering the glitches and issues of the game before it, I cannot blame them for hating on the idea.

But am I saying it shouldn't happen, no. It can happen regardless of opinion but I cannot say if I would want it for PC or not. I'm not a big PC gamer myself but I do respect those that are. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions and how they want to play their games. I'll admit, I kinda enjoy the idea of Skyrim on PC but dread the idea of the price of a gaming computer to play it. If I really wanted a gaming computer, I do have friends who could build me one. One in particular is my mate.
