If Twilicorn had remained a secret until the Finale
Cowl replied to Pinkazoid's topic in MLP:FiM Canon Discussion
I wouldn't have been as afraid of the episode once Twilight went to space... But it wouldn't have changed the fact that the last 10 min of the episode was just a giant advertisement. As to whether I like or dislike alicorn twilight... I am still undecided. I'm hoping that the writers can pull off another miracle and patch the plot holes that this opened up. -
Does it bother you when someone spells your name incorrecty
Cowl replied to applebaby's topic in General Discussion
My name is spelled very similarly to a very common name. As such people try to be helpful and change my name to the incorrect version whenever they find it. This can be extremely annoying. The teachers elementary -> high school all thought I couldn't spell my own name. I almost didn't graduate from college because someone in the administration changed my name in my records (two disjointed semesters where under the incorrect spelling of my name). I don't mind when normal people misspell my name, but please if you are going to change my records please ask me before doing so. -
Oh look its my good friend Mr. Cloud.... He's so soft and friendly and warm.... zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Mullet's are coming back into style...

That looks surprisingly similar to what parts of skyrim looked like on my old computer (my graphics card was in the process of melting down and gave out about a month latter). It's definitely a graphics card issue, I just don't know whether its hardware or software related. I would definitely try the version of directX that ships with the game.

Now that they figured out how to make alicorns... everyone is becoming one.

They summoned Death with the right of Askh Ente... To have him read the CMC their bedtime stories.

I can see you... Through Rainbow Dash!

Do I blame the writers for making Twilight an alicorn no. That would be like blaming a pilot for crashing a plane after all of the engines burst into flames. It's someones fault, but they are doing the best they can to cope with other people bad decisions. We can only hope that they manage to land the plane safely (this time and many times in the future).

The name is Joe, Pony Joe.

It's just so hard to choose... I've narrowed it down to these two, both describe different aspects of my personality fairly well. (I know this is supposed to be a joke, but I am actually somewhat paranoid)

This panda sure wishes he had wings like Derpy.

What do you usually wear in public?
Cowl replied to Harmonic Revelations's topic in General Discussion
Nothing at all... Well, at least 11 people where really inspired by the show and reserve wearing clothes for special occasions. -
when Twilight ate the cupcake that pinki pie had given her... she grew wings and became an alicorn. The End.

As part of Mabel's plan to improve working conditions at the mystery shack, she hired pinkie pie to help improve moral. PS: I just watched episode 13

From that point onward Rainbow Dash learned why medical test subjects are paid so much.

*sigh* Mabel got into the smile dip again.

Derpy is so good at dealing with haters that even hasbro couldn't keep her out of the season finale.

Wow, what an episode! The first half of the episode was amazing! One of the best episodes EVER! Rarity and her checkered sky Dash tied up in a cauldron Applejack's fashion sense Pinkies complete lack of coordination? (she must lose her powers when she isn't happy) and all of the songs where great. Then Twilight had to go and figure out how to fix that spell, and suddenly it was a complete sellout to hasbro... (I know I know, they already belonged to hasbro...) The coronation was just cringe-worthy. I couldn't bare to watch it. It took me 2 hours to get through 5~10 min of the show... I'm not even that against twilight becoming an winged pegasus. PS: I can't believe that they actually made Alicorn (referring to a winged pegasus and not to a unicorn horn) definitively cannon. Also, why would they name this episode after "Magical Mystery Tour" which is arguably the worst Beatles album only because it is too short to be an actual album.

The reason the rich were so rich, Vimes reasoned, was because they managed to spend less money. Take boots, for example. He earned thirty-eight dollars a month plus allowances. A really good pair of leather boots cost fifty dollars. But an affordable pair of boots, which were sort of OK for a season or two and then leaked like hell when the cardboard gave out, cost about ten dollars. Those were the kind of boots Vimes always bought, and wore until the soles were so thin that he could tell where he was in the city on a foggy night by the feel of the cobbles. But the thing was that good boots lasted for years and years. A man who could afford fifty dollars had a pair of boots that'd still be keeping his feet dry in ten years' time, while a poor man who could only afford cheap boots would have spent a hundred dollars on boots in the same time and would still have wet feet. ~This was the Captain Samuel Vimes "Boots" theory of socioeconomic unfairness. -Terry Pratchett

To the battlements, we must protect Princess Derpy from the haters! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6C94GNqUJVo

I've actually started getting annoyed with games being too easy. Normally I don't really care, if a game is just really easy I turn up the difficulty 1 notch. But it is just so obvious with sequels. As the game becomes more famous the difficulty drops like a stone from game to game. mass effect 1 (moderately challenging) -> mass effect 2 (fairly easy) -> mass effect 3 (was this a game or a movie) assassins creed 1 (moderately challenging) -> AC2 (easy) -> AC3 (........?) Dragon Age 1 (challenging) -> DA2 (press A to win, also every level is the same) I don't really play FPS but I played call of duty 2 single player on an under powered laptop with mad lag on normal difficulty and didn't die, even though I couldn't see what I was doing or aim. Game makers need to realize that a little bit of a challenge is appreciated more that nicely rendered scenes occurring every 5 minuets.
