OMG, well... right now you'd see honey boo boo on the TV. Then probably some Call of Duty. Then, um, well, hopefully you are an 18 year old fly.

Pony paraphernalia in the workplace: Is it appropriate?
Sonata18 replied to jackleapp81's topic in Sugarcube Corner
I think it's fine. I worked in a "cubicle-land" style office building for a little while and almost everyone had cartoony stuff on their desks. Those little plastic plants that wiggle under fluorescent lighting were extremely popular, lol. I saw lots of garfield and spongebob too. I'd just add more cartoon decorations of stuff you like to distract from the ponies. I agree with TailsAlone... as long as your work is good I doubt the boss will care a bit about the snow globe.- 24 replies

These were my first FiM merchandise things <3 I wasn't even expecting them, but I guess Santa knew I wanted MLP stuff, lol. They are the perfect size too. I have them on display in the living room and nobody even notices unless they are examining my shelves to see what is there. They came as 3 piece sets.... probably purchased at Toys R Us. Here they are on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/My-Little-Pony-Cloudsdale-Set/dp/B008JZKL48/ref=pd_sim_t_7 http://www.amazon.com/Little-Friendship-Family-Macintosh-Applejack/dp/B008HSJ85U/ref=pd_sim_t_5 MUST BUY MORE NOW!!!

1) Fire. The thought of a house fire is terrifying to me. It ruins all your stuff and causes the worst scars on your body.... if you survive. Ugh. 2) Being alone. Not like alone at home for a while.... alone like forever without love. I can't stand the thought of having to grow old without a spouse and kids and happiness and all that. 3) Making a mistake at work that causes awful bad things to happen MUST BE PERFECT

My breakfast juice has been Coke or Pepsi my whole life, lol. I can't stand the taste of milk, so that was never an option. Sometimes I'd have orange juice with my coke... but I can't go without a soft drink, lol.

Do you live in a nuclear family, or an extended one?
Sonata18 replied to Jack Durango's topic in General Discussion
I grew up in an extended and nuclear family together I guess. Just me and my parents in our house, but my grandparents lived next door. It was like we all lived on the same property, kinda. There were some days when I didn't see my grandparents and some days I spent all day with them. After my grandfather passed away, my grandmother lived with us for a while after she had some surgery and needed extra help until she could stay next door alone again.- 35 replies

Seven questions for people who like to read fanfics.
Sonata18 replied to snizox15's topic in Sugarcube Corner
1. No... I don't mind if there are OCs, but I don't really stay as interested when it's all OCs 2. See above, lol 3. Good story development that expands past the TV show. I avoid the ones with humans and ones written like "you find yourself in ponyville, etc" 4. Allegrezza 5. I don't really like humans in the pony world. When I think about the stories I relate them to real (human) life, so throwing a human in kinda messes it up for me. 6. Probably like 10 or 12. I can't remember 7. Romance, Slice of Life -
lol, it's all good. If I had never seen G1 during childhood, I don't know if I'd like it either. The ponies do look very horse-like. I don't think the fanart and fanfics of today would go so well with the horsey-ness, lol. Be prepared for more creepy G1 pics from me though. I love them and want to show them off.... even if they just get laughed at

Would you like to have a pony pet? If so, which one?
Sonata18 replied to Aureity's topic in Sugarcube Corner
Ummm I'd pick twilight too. Having magic to help around the house would be amazing. It is hard to imagine, though... since in the show they are like independent adult humans. But then again I think my cat thinks she's human. I definitely give her everything I can afford to get, lol. I swear she's smarter than the average cat or dog.- 228 replies

I'm new too. I haven't really talked about the fanfics too much yet, but I think they do that here http://mlpforums.com/forum/29-fan-fiction/ I've been having fun the past week just talking about everything. A member made my avatar for me yesterday. Everyone is super nice I like it here.

MLP:FiM Gameloft App, Friends, and Info
Sonata18 replied to Lost Profile's topic in Sugarcube Corner
I had to get a new iphone and lost my entire game... I had the mane 6 and all the Flim & Flam's pop ponies and everything <_< GRRRRRR... Why can't they save your data online. Are there any hacks left that work? I don't feel like doing the time warp crap again. I have an iphone 5. Gameloft seriously needs to go check out how EA made Simpsons Tapped Out and fix their jacked up app. HMMMPH -

request shop I need drawing practice, taking suggestions of all kinds
Sonata18 replied to Fluttermena's topic in Requestria
I think the proportions and aesthetics are the hardest for me. I don't have that "artist's eye" so it takes me twice as long to get something good. My high school didn't offer any kind of computer art class. My college has a subscription to online video classes through VTC.com so I watched a few of those. I need to try to vector a pony. So far I've just done trees and roller coasters and carnival rides and billboard signs.... inanimate objects. I've very impressed with your Chrysalis and changeling!!! -

Wow, those are really good for a beginner! I thought you meant you were just learning! You've got some pretty good skills going there. Ignore my previous suggestions! -

Sonata18 replied to Fluttermena's topic in Requestria
I learned vector drawing in Illustrator CS5... taught myself mostly. It took lots of yelling and frustration and deleted files, but I eventually figured it out. Start with simple stuff like a waving flag, or a bare tree in winter, or the classic tattoo style sparrow, or the angry bird above. Once you figure out how to get the lines to do what you want, it just gets easier and easier. -
I'd marry Vinyl. We'd have fun living a life full of pounding bass. I'm fine if she still wants Octavia as a girlfriend. I'll marry both of them... anything goes in ponyville right? I'd have to agree about Dashie... I know she's very much a mare now, but the first time I saw the show I was completely convinced she was male. oopsies

Is fanfiction a good substitute for reading books?
Sonata18 replied to MorningFlash's topic in General Discussion
Yes! I really only have been reading young-adult literature lately, so it's about at the same level and usually in an imaginary world. The last few non-fanfic books I've read were: Uglies, Pretties, Specials, and Extras; Divergent; The Hunger Games series, The Host, and the Fifty Shades series. It all seems very similar to me. I've tried reading more "complex" books, but they just don't keep my interest very long. -
