    ponyshep, i never said anything about the permanence of twilight's transformation. you've officially put words in my mouth. what im tired of is hearing you say that twilight will change, leave ponyville or lose her friends. you know that isn't going to happen. those who create the show said as such.

    Three parts in the opinion of Meghan McCarthy, the show’s writer. Magical Mystery Cure is officially a stand alone show, but it will be referenced further down the line in the following season, and other episodes could even tie into it. And have you ever considered the possibility that the ultimate result might be twilight becoming QUEEN? Unlikely, cause like any theory of yours I’ve seen, if it would happen it would ruin the show. The focus isn’t going to shift away from the other main 5 or the cutie mark crusaders. Twilight isn’t going to leave Ponyville.     She has fully developed adult wings, and she's smart enough to understand the mechanics of flight. I think flying in a straight line like she did wouldn't be beyond her, but anything more advanced needs to be taught. If they don't show it within the first 5 episodes of season 4, I think its safe to assume she got taught sometime in between.

    It doesn't really matter if its temporary or permanent. What won't happen is Twilight losing her wings from the get go of season 4. They go through all that in magical mystery cure to give her wings, you have to expect them to stay for a little while.

    Just think: in less than 24 hours the brony twilicorn rage will end. Its almost like dream. Unless the episode has the affect of gas on fire and sparks the brony rage anew.

    This is just the RPG player in me, but when ever i see phrases like "Chaotic Good" I always think of something like a free agent, working on their own. I don't know if that fits for discord because he'll technically be taking orders from celestia, wouldn't he? I guess I never saw discord as a bad buy at all, myself. especially after I saw this video a while ago.     That video is pretty awesome. It's a little funny to see the ponies do eachother's talents without actually having the "talent." But I always thought Rainbow Dash's talent had to do with the Sonic Rainboom. I find that Rarity having the ability to affect the weather because of rainbow's cutie mark pretty confusing.

    I've been wondering this for a while, but now that Discord is one of the good guys(for the moment), How will he actually be using his powers? He's chaos incarnate right? He's not the kind of guy who'd really ever conform with the rules completely. The best I could see him being is the my little pony version of Marvel's Impossible man. Disocrd needs to have his own space where he can just do whatever he wants. Something like that could be an amusment park for ponies. His antics, when you expect them, can be a lot of fun when you think about.

    Cutie Mark Chronicles: Rainbow Dash tells how she earned her cutie mark after making a sonic rainboom. Then everyone realizes that her rainboom was the rainbow/explosion that helped everyone else to earn their cutie marks. The six then come together in a big group hug of friendship. Griff on the Brush off: Rainbow Dash stands up to Gilda in deffense to pinkie pie, showing that she'd rather have friends who'd be kind to others. Putting your hoove down: Fluttershy learns the difference between being assertive and being aggressive when she stands up to Iron Will with out being rude or mean.

    Asked and answered. Considering how they got with Zecora, I wouldn't be surprised if they did something like this if a human ever did show up.

    The season was too short for me, and too much time had passed between season 2 and 3. Between seasons 1 and 2, there was only a 5 month wait, but between season 2 and 3, there was a total of eight months before they started airing new episodes. I personally think that 13 episodes where the quality was comparable to previous seasons is to little to justify a wait that long. I'm glad that there are going to be more episodes for season 4.

    All I want to see for certain is Rainbow Dash teaching Twilight how to fly. Some other episodes I'd like to see is Spike taking advantage of Twilight's new found popularity and open up a "princess twilight" museum in the Library, and Rarity "borrowing" Twilight's tiara without permission to try it on and ends up losing and breaking it, then spends the rest of the episode trying to find it/get it fixed before Twilight notices.

    So Dash has two frienemies, Gilda: And Lightning Dust: Does anyone want to see more of either of these two? Personally I like Lightning Dust better, but I'd like an episode where they both return and challenge Rainbow Dash to a three way race.

    Or she could just use the memory spell she used to save her friends the first time. You know something? I'm done with you. All you've really been doing is taking the same "side effect" theory and stating it differently, expecting everyone to agree with you. Not to mention that you keep expecting this to happen within a 22 minute season finale. All you really are doing is setting yourself up to hate a show that you've enjoyed so far because you assume it wil be bad before you've actually watched it. Oh, and you do realize that Twilight is practically royalty already, right? Between being Celestia's student, a hero of Equestria as well as being the sister of a prince, she's a princess already in all but name.

    Okay, now you're just reaching. You clearly hear Fluttershy sounding unaffected in the new trailer after the transformation. The Elements of Harmony have never had a determental effect to those who used them. The entire point of the elements is to protect Equestria. It's more likely that Twilight involved the Elements in her spell to save her friends, and Twilight was transformed after the fact, I believe because of how strong the feelings of friendship had become from the latest adventure. The entire point of posting a theory is to get feed back on it and have it discussed. You can't take it personally when you find it that others disagree with you or find flaws.

    Like shift said, It was probably too much for just Celestia to use the elements alone. They were probably never ment for a single pony, or a pair of ponies for that matter, to wield. Their full power could only ever be unleashed when they were paired with a single pony each. And I have to think that since it was originally Luna's jealousy of Celestia that caused her to transform into Nightmare Moon, Celestia wasn't the one most suited to save her sister by reminding her just what friendship and sisterhood truly means.

    Enough with the side effect theories already, please. I saw that trailor too, and it reminds me of something I've always been thinking. That the elements of harmony themselves could have been responsible for Celestia and Luna originally becoming how they are. I think the form of a princess is more of a reward granted by the elements, not the relics themselves but the forces that empower them, to ponies who take part in guiding the destinies of all the tribes to a better future. They must have done some great deed that helped all the other tribes and were given bodies that embodied all the tribes. That's what I believe at least.

    First off, I'd reccomend breaking that first text chunk into paragraphs so its easier to read. Secondly, if your asking if I feel sad that I don't have and irl friends to talk to about the show, then not really. I like the show for what it is: entertainment. I don't need to tell everybody the pros and cons of the shows I like. If it comes up casually in conversation then cool. If not then I can just talk about it online if I want.

    The entire episode of read it and weep. I loved how Rainbow Dash was when she was laid up with a gimpy wing because of how contrary to her character it was. Plus later in the episode where she snuck in wearing a hoodie, I was all "awwwwww." Hoodies go great with rainbow's character. That episode wanted me to know what happened in the rest of the Daring Do books though.

    Okay, you have officially stopped making sense to me. She doesn't need to be just an ordinary unicorn to be with her friends and you would have been much more believeable if you said she'd have lost her wings due to the magic of a villain coming along down the road, and if she does lose her title, it would only happen sometime down the road, not in the same episode where she recieved it. She doesn't need to sacrifice, to resign, to be punished in anyway, and the more you talk about "side effects," the less sense it actually makes. Plus, how can she "resign" from being royalty when her "opportunity" to be royalty is destroyed? I'm very sorry, but I just can't take you seriously anymore.

    Yeah, her neck does look unusually long, doesn't it. @ commander_ponyshep: I'm sorry if you're upset, but I think you are over reacting a litle. I personally think that Twilight becoming a princess is a good thing for the show, whether or not it was a product of hasbro wanting to make money. I can see how this can help make the show better, about how it teachest that friendship can persevere in the face of change, but the truth of the matter is that I won't know for sure until I see the show. Maybe I'll like it, maybe I won't. All I know is that I won't write it off until then.

    I haven't thought about Tail Spin in years! Now I want to watch a few episodes of that! Well then, I think the most likely to return would be Queen Chrysillis(I have no idea if I'm spelling that right though.) She was blasted out of equestria, and wasn't really locked up or anything. She'd be up for revenge at some point. What about minor villains like the Flim Flam Brothers? I'd like to see some more of them. They strike me as the bulk and skull of the Ponyverse. There's also the dragon teens from "Dragon Quest," and the diamond dogs from "A Dog and Pony Show." They may not be villains, but they do have return potential.

    Heh, nice opening there. But what are you defining as an "agent of chaos?" Big bads like Chrysilis and King Sombra, trouble makers like Diamond Tiara and her spoony sidekick, or happy go lucky ponies like Pinky Pie? I hope Discord becomes a semi regular on the show. He might be reformed, but only just, and he definately makes things interesting.

    I watched my first episode of it while waiting for an episode of Transformers Prime, and I was hooked instantly. I watched the first two seasons on youtube, and watched every episode of season three as it airs on the hub, I also keep the show in my Netflix Instant Que where I'm able to watch them in HD,
