  1. The same "society" that named Caitlyn Jenner woman of the year? Lolno. In 2002, you might have had a point, but times have changed. Deviation is not only accepted, but sensationalized. You aren't making any sense. Unless you mean people should literally ask every person they meet if they're trans or not before conversing, the logical thing to do is assume that they fall into the 99.7% statistic instead of the 0.3% statistic. In the rare case where that assumption is incorrect, it can be rectified within seconds. I don't see the issue. Invalidated because a perfect stranger said something incorrect about them? What? What color is my hair? What color are my eyes? Do I have heterochromia? If so, what color is each eye? Be sure to get this all right, or you risk invalidating me. We make assumptions every day. Inevitably, a few will be wrong. An incorrect assumption doesn't mean you "aren't nice." If you want to get technical, the condition is known as dysmorphia or dysphoria, depending on the specifics.
  2. That's not how statistics work. Only about 0.2-0.3% of the population can be considered transsexual. It's normal to assume the opposite unless given reason not to.
  3. She also infamously tweeted that Pegasus shit rains from Cloudsdale. All hail the troll queen.

  6. From time to time, I see threads on this site asking questions about MLP Generation 5. For those somehow unaware, the current generation is number 4, and the generations leading up to it are generally agreed to suck ass. In fact, FiM's success is still treated as an anomaly to this day. A happy accident akin to winning three lotteries with the same ticket. Bronies like to treat the hypothetical Gen 5 like it will be a continuation of FiM. It won't. When Gen 5 comes, I'm sorry to say that it will be a fresh lottery ticket with the same near-zero chance of winning. New cast, new characters, new setting, new marketing, and that's if it gets a cartoon at all. What we have right now is basically what Scooby Doo had for two seasons. After sucking ass for upwards of 40 years, Mystery Incorporated sprung up out of the blue and was miraculously very good. They made two seasons, and will never produce another episode again. And now the next Scooby show looks like it'll suck ass. Be happy that we're on season 6 with no end in sight. Don't tempt fate by putting all your money on a number that probably doesn't exist anymore. We got lucky. Savor it.
  7. Nintendo's strategy has been a house of cards for a while now. The original Wii only sold because it was marketed with a cheap gimmick, despite being shunned by any third party developer worth a damn. The Wii U continued to be shunned by developers, but changed to a less marketable gimmick anyway. This may sound callous, but I wouldn't miss them if their consoles went the way of Sega.
  8. "Do you feel like a hero yet?" It comes from the game Spec-Ops: The Line, and it's meant to criticize people who do horrible things because they believe them heroic. In my experience, no truer words have been spoken.
  9. I heard recently that ISIS did. Not unexpected, really.
  10. Rainbow Rocks at the top, because it's actually half-way decent. I think we can all agree on that. Then the original below it. The original is a big, dumb, bad movie. In fact, it's so bad it's good. It's become something of a meme. Making fun of it has become a national sport for bronies, and anything that brings that much joy much be the true spirit of christmas, or some shit. Then Friendship Games at the very bottom, because it was just dull. I couldn't even watch it all in one sitting, I had to take a break because I was so bored. Unlike the original, FG's badness only makes it lame and boring. I couldn't laugh at its ridiculousness like I could the first, I could only sit and wait for it to end.
  11. Has any group claimed responsibility for the attack?
  12. Let me rephrase: They have the permission to make fun of you no matter where you are. It just makes it easier if you put yourself out there.
  13. Yeah, basically parallel. I've always used the term "alternate universe" the same way I use the term "alternate history." An alternate universe diverges from the main one at a specific point in time, while a parallel universe simply never intersects.
  14. I'm going to address this first. Here is Tommy's Youtube channel. In the banner, you can see he proudly displays that he was featured on Comedy Central. This happened when Tosh.0 made fun of him. Does this make Tommy a hypocrite? No. Not from what I know. It seems to me like the issue with Leafy isn't just that he made fun of Tommy, but that Leafy's fanbase started giving him death threats. This is a different act entirely from just making fun of him. See Jestwinged's post. What the shit, man? Or perhaps you aren't being bullied, and are simply too oversensitive to see the difference.
  15. Once again, Leafy wasn't the first to make fun of him. Tosh.0 went after the same guy, and from what I heard, the guy was actually flattered.
  16. As was pointed out by Octave Fox: If you've never watched Tosh.0 before, it's pretty damn mean. Leafy is far from the first person to take a shot at this guy, so the fact that he's the only one getting blowback suggests that there's something else going on.
  17. And people like you are the reason the word "offended" has completely lost its meaning. It's one thing to have a base reaction to something, but expecting the world to revolve around that reaction makes you spoiled and entitled. At that point, you need to grow a thicker skin, and stop whining about every fucking thing that offends you. I'm not going to defend the death threats that this guy received. I honestly think that death threats are a horrible phenomenon and that the people who give them are scum. But when you put yourself out there on the internet, you have at least given everybody a license to make fun of you. I don't even find Leafy's videos that funny, but he has every right to continue making them, even if his fanbase tends to act like a bunch of cocks.
  18. There really is no limit to human stupidity.

  19. As far as family-friendly movies of 2015 go, I can't really argue with this. And I'm Miss Romania. What a load of shit. And my dog is the estranged Princess of Russia. I enjoyed her more in other roles. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) Well, paste my ass to a cactus and call me Betty, someone actually watched that? Meh. I guess I'll just say ponies cause that's the only kids' cartoon I watch anymore. I have legitimately never heard of these idiots. I've only seen the Muppet Show from the 70s, so I can't comment. Maybe it's awesome. Most anticipated movie: Star Wars Episode III I wonder who Lynch had to blow to get this award. It wasn't worth it. Why is this a category? That is not a family show. Eh. They can't exactly nominate Fallout 4, I guess. Which reminds me: Game Grumps best Mario Maker LP.
  20. They're not American, but I've always loved the Monster Raving Loony Party in the UK. Their platform includes a plan to fight global warming by putting air conditioners on the outside of buildings, and fitting airbags to the stock exchange to prepare for the next crash. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x6_igc7Ph1k
