Okay thank you, I was confused. Sorry, I knew that you weren't supposed to post only OOC in the RP forum but I just wanted to make sure that @Gearbox got the message. And yes, I think @Silverwisp lives in a different timezone although I'm not sure where... -
AHHHH!! I SO wanna go!! Unfortunately I live in the good ol' USA with no way to get to the con in time. Ugh. Germany is a great country, especially since I'm learning German! This would be the perfect time to practice, but alas, my bit bank is dangerously low on funds Oh well. Tell me how it goes! I'm sure it will be wonderful! Be sure to post lots of pony-pics for us who can't make it this year. (Next year, here I come! )

((OOC: I'm so sorry for the confusion, I was talking to Joan, SilverWisp's OC. She walked over to us and bumped into us. Is she still with us? The bat-winged pony? I'm waiting for Silverwisp's reply. Sorry for the only OOC post but I figured we needed to clear things up a bit before we go on )) -

Love*Potion replied to Shift's topic in Everfree Planning, OOC & Discussion
Haha yep same here. I can't wait to get this thing started! Is there anything we should sort out before we start though? Like, say, teams? And team names? And cabin assignments? I'm pretty sure there will be a lot of planning to start this off right unless you wanna just go with it during the RP. I think it will go much smoother if everypony knows what they are doing before we start anything crazy. Also is the list of participants final? Are these going to be our teammates/enemies for the contest? Sorry for all the questions and thank you in advance! -

@@MyLittleCell, @@Silverwisp the Bard, Rudolph dusted off his lucky hat and placed it back on his head with a smile. "Oh that's quite alright," he said, turning to greet the mare that had apologized, "It was merely an accident-" Rudolph stopped immediately after the sentence and stared at the mare's wings. They were unlike anything he had ever seen. So different, so unique, so frightening yet so fascinating. He realized he was staring with his mouth wide open. He excused himself and began to speak again; "Your wings madam are... simply magnificent. I have never seen such a form on a pony before. Tell me, from whence did you come? I am Rudolph Jäger, a young stallion fresh from a small village in Ger-mane-y. I have made it my life long quest to discover and explore new worlds and cultures. And this madam, is a prime example of what I am searching for. I am merely here to learn." Rudolph finished with a goofy smile on his face, excited as a child to be a part of such a different world than his home. ((OOC: Rudolph's not trying to be creepy, he is just super excited. Rudolph trotted happily into the wide ballroom, where many ponies were enjoying themselves by talking, dancing, or exploring around the magnificent building. He wondered what to do first, there were so many ponies! Suddenly he felt very small. How could he find somepony to 'hang out' with in this big room? "No Rudolph, you mustn't think that way," he told himself, "Just be yourself and somepony is bound to be friendly." He put on his best smile and tipped his hat to any passerby's as he walked down the corridor. Nopony seemed to pay him much attention. Soon he came up to a stallion who was standing by himself, glancing from side to side just as he was. "No doubt he's looking for somepony to talk to," he thought, "Perhaps we can have a good conversation." He cam up to the stallion and bowed his head formally. "My name is Rudolph Jäger, it is a pleasure to make your acquaintance. May I ask your name?" @@MyLittleCell -

Trees slid by as the carriage rolled down the road towards the mansion. A young, light blue stallion named Rudolph Jäger was looking out the window, watching the shifting clouds in the moonlight. He was so excited - a chance to meet some of Canterlot's elite ponies?? How could he be so lucky? Rudolph turned back into the carriage and shifted slightly due to the bumps on the road. He took out his old pocketwatch that his father had given to him as a colt. He thought about his home, so far away in Ger-mane-y. As much as he loved his old village, he yearned for adventure. It was his dream to travel the world; meeting all kinds of strange and wonderful creatures as well as studying and appreciating the culture of different lands. "Sir we have arrived at the destination." Rudolph snapped out of his thoughts and replied to the kind gentlecolts who had taken him here. "Most honorable friends, I thank you for taking the time and effort to escort me here safely and efficiently. My deepest gratitude. I hope you have a pleasurable time this evening," he said with a handsome smile. The escorts nodded their heads toward Rudolph. "And the same to you Rudolph, we owed it to you." Rudolph acknowledged the kind words and tipped his hat to the stallions as they took the carriage away. Rudolph turned and faced the huge, beautiful, intimidating, yet magnificent gates to the mansion. "Well I'm here," he thought, "Might as well have some fun" -

Ooohh... I vote for Fluttershy and Angel. The two total opposite personalities always makes me laugh- plus who doesn't like cute cuddly bunnies? I find it amusing that the stereotypical "cutsie-wootsie" bunny is actually a demanding brat, but he's lovable anyways. Fluttershy's patience for him is something we can all learn from And Owlicious? I always found him pretty lame. I don't see why Twilight needs an assistant and a pet... He just seems out of place

Calling all Bronies: What kind of worker are you?
Love*Potion replied to jackleapp81's topic in General Discussion
@@jackleapp81, Wow, let me say that this is a very interesting job- I never really thought about it, but of course we need people working in food packaging plants! And it's that much cooler that you work with tacos. Anyway to answer your question, I would consider myself a good worker. I do referee for sports games and such and I am always very punctual. I am an officer for my school and I finish all of my work in a neat, creative, organized, and timely manner. Not to sound like I'm bragging, but I would consider myself a good worker. I definitely try to do my best with any task at hand.- 23 replies

Okay, good. That is what I had thought it was going to be, but I wasn't sure about the "stallion to mare" ratio. What if there are two many girls than guys or vice versa? We had this problem in another RP so I just wanted to make sure that nopony gets left out -
Is Twilight becoming a princess considered sexist?
Love*Potion replied to Commander_PonyShep's topic in Season 3 Discussion
I would just remind everyone that is taking this too seriously that this is a cartoon. The sole intention of the show was to sell cute toys to little girls, so of course they are going to deliver to their target market. If any 5 year old girl considers the word 'princess' to be more sexist than the word 'queen', I doubt she would be the one that Hasbro is aiming to buy their product. Now as the series goes on, the writers have obviously turned their attention from just girls to a much wider audience (hint: US). But the original meaning is still there: Princess ponies in a land of magical rainbows. I don't think ANYONE is blatently trying to be sexist, it is simply how you perceive it. But I personally think they are making a big deal out of nothing. I mean come on, is anyone really offended by it? (My apologies if you are.) I just hope this doesn't turn into another "Derpy" fight about offending those who are mentally disabled. Again, I think it was a big deal for nothing -

I just realized I hadn't posted what my character would be wearing. Well I don't have any pictures of the "pony style" suit, but this is what it would look like human style: He is a gentlecolt and loves to dress up fancy Of course he will still be wearing his top hat (check link in sig), but I'm thinking he'll leave the scarf -

Haha okay! Thanks for clearing that up. I mean, I wouldn't be mad if you did feel that way, it's just an opinion, but I personally would want girls to be as healthy as they can be, not as thin as a model on a magazine

Just wondering, do you consider this to be the standard of women for today? These are fabulously gorgeous women, but keep in mind they are VICTORIA SECRET MODELS. This is an almost impossible standard for 90% of women around the world. Yes they are pretty, but the fact that the media is saying that everyone has to look like this or they are not attractive is what is very wrong. As a girl, I have found myself comparing to these models and feeling lesser about myself. I have a good figure and I don't think I'm ugly, but I am not a Victoria Secret model. People know that when they look at skin and bone models that that is ugly or unattractive. But how many guys here would agree that not every girl has to look like Victoria Secret models to be attractive? Thankfully I believe most of you would agree, but the girls are the ones who are truly affected by this. Sorry for the rant but I wanted to express my thoughts on the subject

Currently I just finished Great Gatsby in response to seeing the movie (which I loved BTW) I also need to read the third book in the Golden Compass series. If any of you haven't heard of it, NOW YOU HAVE. Check it out and see if you like it Also I am waiting to get a copy of Ender's Game, I have heard many good things about it
