  1. We have a guild, where VAs help one another with projects and to hone our skills. There's a kind of format to it, though: Post some samples of your work. What work best are either SoundCloud or YouTube, and I'll post it on the main page with a link to your account here (and a link to your work, of course) Then give us your Skype and we can bring you into the guild's chat groups. We have a couple of projects in the works, actually. Plus there's a class for those looking to brush up and practice their acting.
  2. Cool. I'm loving the retro feel to it. I'm a VA, and plenty of Guild members would love to give this a shot. Let me know when the lines are up, and I'll send them your way.
  3. Think I know someone willing to help. @UncleRemil is his username on here. Ask him to help. I think he's looking for a project to animate for. Also, if you have Skype, add me DoctorMcCrimmon and I can make a Skype group to work on story ideas and to help you find VAs.
  4. Well, I can't listen on my phone. But if you want advice, I do have a Voice Acting class on Skype (I'm DoctorMcCrimmon there, too. Just be sure to tell me who you are when adding me, and why you did) it meets every Thursday morning… there's on in three hours of posting this in fact. So I might be able to help. If not, I can help one-on-one.
  5. Well, I only saw one. I sent you a request. So if that's not you, boy will I feel silly.
  6. Alright, I'll add you to the guild groups. There are three, currently: The VA Guild main group: where we post info to share, like casting calls and organise projects The VA R&R: Where we goof off, post random stuff, and basically hang out and be friends. The VA Class: Classes will be held on Thursdays, for those wanting to join. It's not compulsory. But it'll be to improve your acting skills. As the guild is of all skill levels, we try to help each other out to always strive for self improvement. I'll add you to the main two, and let me know if you want to join the class. Also, as a sidenote: Class is open to everyone who wants to improve their acting abilities, not just those who want to join the guild. They're tied together, but you don't HAVE to be in one to be in the other.
  7. On which thing? It may have accidentally gotten buried in the comments and I may not have seen it. Care to PM me the message, so I know it won't get lost? I put you up in the main page, and if anypony finds anything you'd fit, they'll let you know. Also, if you have a Skype, you can join our Skype guild group.
  8. That's a problem most people have. But if I find any, I'll send them your way.
  9. I can Voice Act. But finding Animators and such might be a challenge.
  10. Cool. You're added, and added to the Skype group. Feel free to say hi whenever. There's usually someone on. We regularly have chats, where we practice lines, give each other tips and feedback, share casting calls, and just talk about random sh**.
  11. Of course you can join! I added you to the main post, and if you have a Skype account, add me DoctorMcCrimmon and I'll add you to the guild Skype group, as well. Just be sure to tell me who you are when you add me so I don't think you're spam. As a notice to everypony: If you change your username, let me know so I can update the main post. Otherwise it won't link to your profile. Then anypony who wants to use your talent won't be able to get ahold of you.
  12. I'm a voice actor. If you need any help, let me know, also, feel free to ask anypony in the VA Guild, I'm sure they'll be happy to help, too!
  13. Could you send me an audition list? Lines for particular characters you need? I'll try out.
  14. I don't have any particular lines. But you can look up lines from an episode, or you can just addlib (it's what most. Of us do) or post auditions… really anything. Then just post a link to it here. Also, if you have Skype, add me: DoctorMcCrimmon but be sure to tell me it's for the VA Guild (I've gotten spam bots recently so I'm being wary who I add). The bill add you to the guild chat group. Now it's way past bed time for me. So I'll catch up on everything else tomorrow. Later.
  15. I agree Pinkie v. Discord is too epic for words. Here are some not yet listed: Daring Doo v. Rainbow Dash Celestia v. Discord Flash Sentry v. Shining Armour Babs Seed v. Silver Spoon Prince Blueblood v. Cadence Filthy Rich v. Prince Blueblood Rarity v. Hoity Toity Zecora v. Discord (because that would be downright hypnotic, auditorily speaking!) Pinkie Pie v. Fluttershy (Same original VA, so it'd be interesting.) Doctor Whooves v. Daring Doo
  16. Agreed. And while I've heard better de Lancie impressions, his isn't bad. It's not the best, most thought provoking plot, but it still works better than a lot of fan series I've seen. It isn't mind-blowingly fantastic. But it's alright. A nice distraction to listen to while I'm doing chores. (The artistry for much of it doesn't really warrant staring at it continuously.)
  17. If you post a link to your audio samples, I'll put you up in the main post. Do you have Skype? Our Guild Skype Group have audio chats (sometimes video, but only if you want to. I personally don't do video), where we practice our characters to perfect them. It's a constructive group where we give each other tips on how to hone our craft, suggestions on how to sound more like the characters, and sometimes just good off and have fun. Feel free to add my Skype (make sure to tell me who you are ), and I'll add you to the group. Do you have a link to samples of your work? I can put them up on the main post, with everypony else's. It's a nice, centralised place to go through everypony and know what roles to send their way.
  18. That's my best way of singing! (Seriously, you should hear my Elmo, bang on!) yeah, I can sing in character voices. I was actually practicing singing Poor Unfortunate Souls in Rarity's voice, and then in Fluttershy's (for the lols). I'll record it when I get home from work.
  19. I'll be happy to try out. Soon as the lines are up, I'll try out.
  20. He posted the email wrong in the initial post: bronycentaur.poniesandbuck@gmail.com Here's the right email.
  21. Alright, added you to the main post and sent you an add on Skype. I'm DoctorMcCrimmon so you know who added you. I can add you to the Skype group, too, if you'd like.
  22. Hey, if you're looking for VAs, look in the VA Guild, there are lots. And if you'd like, I can advertise it on the main post to let everypony know you need voices. (I'll be sending an email myself to audition, too, but there's a wide range to choose from in the guild.)
  23. Of course! Care to share a link to your SoundCloud? That way I can post it on the first page for everypony to see! Also, if you have a Skype, we have a Skype group where we share tips and practice lines, help each other, etc…
  24. Added. Sorry I didn't do it sooner. Anything is good. Nothing is too specialised. Heck! I posted Elmo! You should get a SoundCloud or a YouTube account, post all your different voices there. It gives the added bonus of being able to link to everything you do at once.
