  1. Granted. So are the sharks. I wish for infinite nachos.
  2. I have the same problem. The only thing I can really give as advice is to keep moving on, accept what's going on now, and strive to change it.
  3. Granted. It's a dead pony. I wish I could do a proper derp.
  4. Granted, but it creates a singularity. I wish that wish made sense.
  5. Granted, but it's a shit beer. I wish I could kill a yak from 200 yards away. WITH MIND BULLETS!
  6. Granted, but you die in a horrible training accident. I wish I was immortal.
  7. Granted, but it's corrupted in a way that somehow benefits you as well as hurts you. I wish I had better grades.

    Guess The Song!

No idea. "Folks, would you like a milkshake? Chocolate or Vanilla? We have everything you want and a fountain of sasparilla."
  9. I do a pretty OK low singing voice. Not quite sure if it's Tenor or Bass, but i'll go ahead and volunteer.
  10. <ooc> I made an ask page for my OC, because narcissism. </ooc> Alright. Here I am, at my desk. I've got a line of ponies coming to witness my glory. Ask me questions, mortals! Expect some answers involving fire. Fire solves EVERYTHING. Except maybe floods. It doesn't stop floods. Regardless, i'd be happy to answer all of your meaningless questions. Man, the buttons on this thing are small. -Sunburst
  11. Borderlands is a good fit, but I'm looking for an MMORPG featuring ponies. Complete with character customization and a full world (maybe adding places like Zebrica and Griffonia) to wander around and adventure in. I can imagine having a lot of fun going through dungeonlike ruins in the Everfree Forest finding spell tomes with my friends.
  12. If I suddenly became my OC, the world would burn. Me and Burnie would rip sh*t apart, all while wearing sunglasses. Nopony would be safe.
  13. Damn. I was so prepared for this... I didn't even know. My pony, Sunburst, has the hotheaded, foolish but fierce personality of fire, and his spells reflect that. If he went to magic college,he would have a major in Fire Elemental and a minor in Conjuration. NOTE: THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE STANDARD TELEKENISIS Fire Wall: First advanced spell he ever learned (and how he got his cutie mark), creates a wall of fire (duh) in the front 180 degrees of him, but is not too terribly tall. Conjure Sunglasses: Conjures his signature "I don't give a buck" purple-tinted Neighviators to walk away from large explosions with. They serve little other purpose. Phoenix Call: Calls his pet Phoenix to his aid. Can only work above ground or slightly below with an easily accessible entryway. Fireproof: Does what it says on the tin. Blocks 80-90% of all heat sources, making it possible (but incredibly painful) to swim through lava without being incinerated. Fire Form: Sets him on fire, but doesn't burn him. EXTREMELY taxing on his magical reserves, and only to be used in emergencies.
  14. Well, I stand corrected. I was more focusing on the word itself, and I'm not that deep into psychological mishmash. However, I still don't think the entire "Addiction Epidemic" thing is overplayed.
  15. Electric metal-ish weird fusion. Either way, a kickass song. If you're like me, you found them thru Dave. If you like electronic and metal, you can notice the slight electronic influences all over.
  16. Vinyl and I would do an awesome dubstep collab and it would be amazing. Unfortunately, I haven't produced enough to make it good, but it would be freaking VINYL SCRATCH!
  17. I personally think that the word "Addiction" has been so overused that it's become little more than a buzzword. You can really, really like a game, but that doesn't mean you're addicted to it. Don't get me wrong, addiction isn't a totally non-applicable term. Heroin, Crack and other such drugs are extremely addictive to the point where the person feels they absolutely need it. Let me clarify through a dictionary definition like a true nerd. ad·dict·ed /əˈdiktid/ Physically and mentally dependent on a particular substance, and unable to stop taking it without incurring adverse effects. Enthusiastically devoted to a particular thing or activity. This is ripped straight from Google, just so you know. While number two is applicable in the game sense, number one is what most people think when they hear about addiction. Would you really say that you're "Physically and mentally dependent" on a game? Would you say that you are "unable to stop taking it without incurring adverse effects"? "No, of course not!" I hear probably 98% of you say. When it comes to games and music, waaaaay more people would say that they are "Enthusiastically devoted" to it. Using this definition, you could be addicted to anything you like, from a hobby like YouTube to a show like MLP to a job you really like. TL;DR, most people think of definition 1 (listed above) when the writer or speaker really means definition 2. Definition 2 is SIGNIFICANTLY less dangerous and is nothing to be worried about. This is also a fun way to tie together reasons why Video Game Addiction isn't an epidemic. Video Game Devotion is.
  18. The reason I love RD so much is because she is what I wish I could be. I'm too shy to be confident, and I have an almost crippling fear of failure. RD is everything I wish I could be. She's an adventure-loving speed demon who doesn't answer to anyone. She is free to follow her dream of being a wonderbolt, and nopony tries to stop her. That is a short thesis on why RD is undoubtedly best pony.
  19. YET ANOTHER ONE OF MY GIANT, STUPID IDEAS. Alright. This is a simple idea, so i'll present it in the simplest format. BEHOLD! MORE BULLET POINTS! Remember "I Am Octavia"? If you don't, I have it linked below Well, I had another incredibly stupid, brilliant idea. This is one of the few songs I know with a partially narrative structure. This leads to this thought. Wouldn't this work really well in live action? Hence the idea here So here's what we'll need: 1. "Actors" for Vinyl, Octavia, Neon Lights, the doorman featured (In Voice) around 2:50, and the piano player (As far as we know, Octy only plays the cello) [NOTE: THE PIANO PLAYER DOES NOT NECESSARILY NEED TO BE ABLE TO PLAY THE PIANO, WE CAN DUB THE AUDIO OVER IN EDITING. IF YOU WANT TO DO A COVER, THAT'S AWESOME. THAT JUST MAKES IT EVEN BETTER.] 2. A suitable location for the performance to take place, with a stage. This might be hard to secure. Schools and other venues might work. 3. A suitable recording studio to record the footage for the opener with Vinyl calling Octy. [NOTE ON #3-4: THE ACTORS FOR VINYL AND NEON MUST BE ABLE TO MEET, ALONG WITH THE PIANO PLAYER AND OCTAVIA.] 4. Both parties mentioned in the note above need a good, quality camera. HD is recommended, but any clear, good quality camera would work. 5. Someone to ship all of the video off to for final cuts and edits in an editing program. If possible, try to capture several angles during recording so the video doesn't look stagnant. Well, that's a hefty post, innit? TL;DR, The idea is to make a live-action music video of this. http://www.youtube.com/watch/?v=Gp93CoKICcQ
  20. So I did a dramatic reading of a fanfiction. This particular fanfic was featured in my top three fanfictions post on this forum, and Kaidan, the author, is really a phenomenal wordsmith. Only chapter 1 is finished at time of writing, but expect more in the future. https://soundcloud.com/malao567/a-puppet-to-her-fame-chapter-1
  21. Um... Not a shipfic. It looks really good, actually. I had a picture of Alex attached to the pose before I deleted it. Here it is. The OC on my profile is going to be in a fic, just not yet.
