  1. Well, here's my song of the day!  Another playlist today.  Hope you enjoy and are having a good day!!

  2. I had this dream about being part of this group and every time we had a gathering, this other group lead by this really nasty woman kept crashing our parties or other gatherings. She was this middle-aged woman and we all assumed the guys who were her lackeys were actually her sons. She was a real piece of work, her sons would constantly spy on our gatherings, they'd always be brandishing knives at us when we talked back to them or tried to get them to leave. At one point we all decided to just get them arrested and make them leave us alone for a while at least. So most of the dream was that but I'm a bit foggy on the details.
  3. Rainbow Dash- herself Rarity- hmm... I want to say taoism? Ooo, maybe Shinto? She seems like the type to want things in a particular order? Fluttershy- Jainism(idk that one came to me and has stuck since reading this thread) Applejack- I think she's agnostic, she might believe there's a god but I don't think she's the type to believe in things she can't touch or speak to. So she doesn't prescribe to one religion over another. Pinkie Pie- she's probably christian??? Seeing the Sonic Rainboom when she was younger probably would've made her believe in Miracles, especially how unhappy she was before then. Twilight Sparkle- Paganism
  4. Kinda excited tbh, a game I've been waiting for came out in early access today so I've been test playing that. I've been enjoying the game so far from what actually works. There was a bug involving taking contents out of a box, it was fixed but it ended up breaking the rest of the game lol, so no one could open it. Someone suggested uninstalling and re-installing the game so hopefully that helps it. I think finding the bugs and talking with the dev is part of the fun.
  5. I had this dream that my mom and me were staying at some hotel and we were packing up to leave when she paused for a moment and looked at all of our stuff and asked me t oget one of those trolley things to take all of our bags down to the car. I went downstairs and got the cart but I got lost, I kept going down this one hallway but it strangely turned into a road and then I was walking on a country road but I kept walking down it instead of turning back. I ended up in this random town, still pushing the luggage trolley and just feeling so confused. I've had this dream before but the roads always look different.
  6. Did my routine stuff this morning, I ended up receiving both of the items I ordered earlier this month today, which was great!!! Really made my day!! I watched someone play through a press version of a game that'll come out tomorrow that I kinda want to get, it's a life-sim game where you're in first person perspective, it seems interesting I kinda want to try it out when I can but it's just coming out as early access right now. Some people are saying it's just an asset flip but I think it's better than The Sims cornering the market for life-sims. Anyways, spent some time online today, played a few games for a short time and got some baking done. Currently, I'm writing up some short story prompts to prepare for Fictober over on tumblr.
  7. I can kinda remember going to elementary school but I can't go any earlier than that.
  8. Almost spilled coffee on my laptop yesterday, I put the cup where it shouldn't have been. Nearly jumped out of my skin when I hit it with my hand lol...
  9. I'm feeling pretty good, just got two packages today!! One's for my muslin from Mood Fabrics and another one's for my syringes which I was almost out of
  10. I totally understand the need to go out and socialize, I get it. I miss being able to go out too but at the end of the day, if my country wants to get back to that, we need to ensure better testing, more due-diligence with one's own health and actually wearing masks/ social distancing. Just look at countries that aren't having any, or at least a lot, of cases, they were very vigilant with the virus and everyone practiced social distancing, wore masks and took other precautions. Now we're seeing a boost in cases as things are opening back up and the government loosens it's regulations. I miss going out when I wanted to but my country needs to work better at ensuring the virus doesn't spread as it did before or worse.
  11. I live in a small town of around 50k people and people around here tend to not like listening to rules, it took a few months but people are actually listening to new rules of wearing masks indoors. Though there's still a woman in another apartment building who has been hosting parties pretty much every day, it's an outdoor event so I hear it through my window. She and her guests are literally out there from 9am to almost 1am. Their kids are constantly crying and they're always talking crap about people or gossiping. They've been out there since around the end of spring. besides that, businesses are slowly reopening with reduced hours unless they're a priority business. Personally, I think it's too soon to reopen and I worry about wave 2 being worse. I've heard of a spike of cases with policies becoming more relaxed. I understand that people are tired of staying at home and want to go back to the gym or eat at a restaurant but we have to work harder at making sure there are less cases, not more. I was thinking of cancelling my gym membership until this has passed but it's something I'm still thinking over. Canada isn't over with this yet and until a cure or proper treatment is made and distributed, I don't think people should be having large gatherings or going to places unless they truly need to go out.
  12. So I was walking down this street until I reached a part that was closed to cars. I was curious so I kept walking and I noticed more and more people walking in the same direction I was. Then, I reached a bunch of tents along the road, there were tons of vendors there, selling stuff and there was music drifting through the air. I don't know how much time I spent looking around and checking out everything. I wasn't really looking for anything in particular but it was great to see all the items people had made to sell. I kept walking for what seemed like hours but the sun never moved from where it sat in the sky. Then I reached this large mall and there were more people in there, what was once an abandoned mall now had tons of business. There were stores that once stood empty in this mall now they had businesses in them, along with more vendors lining the walls and walkways. It was so crowded in there but it was really fun too. There were stores dedicated to electronics, lotions, books, etc. There was so much stuff in this market that I don't even remember looking at everything in this mall. It was jammed with people but for once, I didn't feel suffocated or nervous from the bustling crowd. It was fun and I met so many people there.
  13. It would really suck, I wouldn't be able to talk to as many people, know what resources there are in my area, nor would I be able to buy new games without the internet. It would really suck, couldn't find sewing patterns that I actually like, finding available jobs, new fabric, couldn't figure out new crochet stitches, order old books that aren't being sold in a used book store or at the library, etc,. The internet has become such a necessary thing these days. I wouldn't miss my tv as much since the only game console I have is a Switch.
  14. I'm thinking about this one place in Lafayette Hills, PA called Bruno's... I think they had one of the best cheesesteaks in the area and I miss them. One thing I don't like living in too many places as a child was growing attached to certain restaurants and then missing them when I moved away..... The best place to get fried fish cheesesteak has to be this one little fish deli in East Norriton, I kinda forget the name of the place but they had the best fried fish around and making a cheesesteak out of it?! Perfection. I made myself hungry.
  15. Some homemade cheesesteak "Hot pockets", turned out great. Probably should've baked them a bit more but I still have tons of leftover filling available to use.
  16. Here's a playlist since it's Halloween season, I guess this is my song of the day!!!  Hope you enjoy!!

  17. I kinda want to try making a big comforter but halloween themed fabric... I don't have enough halloween stuff in this house
  18. I tend to crochet or sew something. I tend to go pretty quick when I'm agitated while crocheting. For sewing, it gives me a different sort of stress and helps me refocus my stress and it makes me feel better when I see tangible progress on something, especially sewing.
  19. I made some mask "prototypes" before actually making my own cloth mask. Also, had to wake up early because someone was going to come by to paint the door(there's a few hallway renovations going on in my building right now). After making a mask that was satisfactory for my needs, I've just been scrolling online for a bit catching up on social medias. I like the current furniture arrangement I did a few days ago, I like where I've situated my sewing/anything else desk, I might have my back to the kitchen but I see most of my apartment sparing the bedroom. It was nice sewing for once, even if my thread was being kinda uncooperative at times. Also, making bread for some rolls I want to make today!! The room smells kinda yeasty right now as I'm waiting for the dough to rise.
  20. Cats have just as much emotion as dogs do, they just express their emotions differently since they're a different species. Cats are more introverted while dogs tend to be more in your face with their emotions. If you meet a dog for the first time, you'll better understand what they're feeling compared to meeting a cat for the first time since dogs are "louder" with their emotions.
  21. Woke up earlier than usual, played some acnh, made some banana bread, rearranged my sewing space. I'm thinking about getting some shelves since I need to replace a busted older plastic bin I was using... Kinda sucks but ah well... I know I can fit a bookshelf in one particular spot and that should help with the piles of books that're taking up space on my floor. Now I'm just listening to music, there's some hallway renovations going on in my building and they need to swing by to take something out of my door or something? It's for the new flooring they're going to put down. They already painted the doors a horrid baby blue, I keep hoping that's going to be a base colour though... Might do some rearranging of my kitchen later now that I'm thinking of it but there's not much space to really put anything down.
  22. Plenty helpful, thanks!!! I'm just trying to decide which one I want to start saving up for.
  23. Well since my family moved around A LOT growing up and where I was born is currently in another country on the other side of the continent I currently live on, I don't know what my home town is like. Since I was born on a military base. The town that I currently live in is ok, there's a train station in town so if I ever wanted to go to London or Toronto or anywhere else, I could hop on the train, when I can afford it. I just wish there were more options of continuing education and if you didn't want to become a nurse or an electrician, your picks are incredibly slim and you're going to have to move to get any sort of education. I can't afford to move because of my set income and I can't get the job that I want because I can't afford the education but even if I could get education, I don't have the money to move to a proper city with the education that I want, it becomes this vicious cycle that'll just keep spiraling if I think too much of it lol. Anyways, good town, not many jobs available and the work that is acts like they're god's gift to the world and are VERY selective about who they hire. This town is great if you work with the elderly since a lot of people who're retired move to small towns like mine so there's a large industry here for nurses to work at retirement homes. Beyond that, there's not much going on in town. A lot of the family owned businesses are shutting down and we have a deserted mall in town with a few shops in there, most of the others have closed already which sucks. The current crisis doesn't really help things since now more people are purchasing online or at walmart. Kinda sucks to walk down the downtown strip just to see all the for lease signs instead of actual businesses.
  24. I had some overnight oats for breakfast today!
