I don't think she will get her own kingdom. Seeing as Equestria is already ruled by Celestia and Luna, where would she rule? The only reason Cadance and Shining Armor are ruling the Crystal Empire is that it suddenly appeared and needed to be protected, previously it was just a frozen wasteland. Of course he will still cause chaos, he is the embodiment of chaos itself! Celestia is likely going to give Discord his own personal realm or area to be himself in. The show also has a lot of the concept of balance, Celestia/Luna, sun/moon, Applejack/Rarity (rural/urban, or messiness/neatness), Rainbow Dash/Fluttershy (extrovert/introvert). If life is too ordered, it is boring, and as Discord showed, too much chaos is a bad thing too. Chaos is a neutral force, personally, I didn't see Discord as malicious, just mischievous. I think Discord was telling the truth, in the episode where he was reformed, Fluttershy refused to use the Elements of Harmony to turn him back to stone, if Discord truly didn't care about Fluttershy, he had nothing to lose as the Elements are useless without unity. I think Celestia saw Discord as a potential strong ally in an upcoming story arc. I don't think Discord will try to take over again, however I do think he will still play tricks on the mane six, just for kicks.

In the second episode of the Nightmare Moon arc, Twilight was able to sort of summon/repair the elements to defeat Nightmare Moon. She said something about the spirit of the elements living on inside the element wielders, so I think that as long as there is friendship between the wielders the elements cannot be destroyed.

I have two theories: 1. All alicorns are immortal. They grow to a certain point, after which they stop. Otherwise, how would they have been born in the first place? After Nightmare Moon was defeated, Luna was much smaller than Celestia, proving Celestia had grown over the past thousand years. After an alicorn reaches the point where they stop growing, the flowing mane may appear, however this may happen when the alicorn gains sufficient power. Or maybe the Princesses use magic to make their manes look that way to keep up appearances. When Nightmare Moon was defeated, Luna's mane was not flowing, it looked normal. Either her power was drained by the elements or she had not altered her mane. 2. Only the direct line of descent carries immortality or some form of slow-aging. There are several sources that place Cadence as the adopted niece of Celestia. This means that she was either changed into an alicorn or she was born an alicorn, either way she is not directly descended. Cadence is shown growing up at the same pace as a normal pony, this indicates that she has no resistance to the flow of time. Twilight is not a direct descendant of either Princess, this means that she will live a normal lifespan and eventually die.

How would the Elements of Disharmony be activated? The Elements of Harmony are activated by the uniting of the six elements, would the Elements of Disharmony be activated in a similar manner? Or would they be activated by an opposite method such as there being dissent among their ranks?

I can see where you are coming from, Celestia saw Twilight's power and followed the saying "keep your friends close, and your enemies closer," however she did, in fact, allow Twilight access to the Starswirl the Bearded wing, she passed by and said good morning to Twilight, Pinkie and Spike. I don't think she is evil, merely creepy, for example in the Ticket Master episode, she sent a ticket to Spike only moments after he wished he had a ticket. Lastly, if she is evil and trying to limit Twilight's power, why did she make Twilight an alicorn? It is possible Celestia was trying to make Twilight indebted to her, but why go as far as to make Twilight an equal?

I can see your point and agree, however also look at the episode Family Appreciation Day, Diamond Tiara's father is friendly and pushes Diamond Tiara to join with Granny Smith and the others. On the other hand, that may have been a front he put up to keep the deal with Granny Smith for the zap-apple jam. Silver Spoon has never appeared to enjoy causing misery, she instead seems to follow Diamond's example for fear of either losing the only friend she has or for fear of Diamond turning on her.

Going along with the return of villains, I think that the villain most likely to return is not Sombra, but Chrysalis. She was not killed, she was thrown violently from the castle. Chances are, she is rebuilding her strength and planning revenge on Twilight, the one who brought back Cadence and saw through her disguise in the first place.
