Yes, all of them. Because "good", "boring" and "better" are subjective. Also, I don't think her relationship with RD and Rarity should influence this argument. And there are characters better suited for leadership. Not that she cannot rise to the occasion, as shown in the Scare Master. But she also tends to over-do it, because she is not comfortable. So, it feels very forced on her part. Like a play. Did you notice how fluttershy acts in Fake It 'Til You Make It? Also, her submissive nature can lead to unstable behaviour under stress, like it happened in the The Best Night Ever. Actually, fluttershy's personality does not match her appearance, mostly because the mane six used to share the same base model. But in The Cutie Mark Chronicles, where she sings So Many Wonders, you can actually see how skinny and tall she is compared to other ponies. And I've seen people like that in real life. There was this young woman that behaved very much like fluttershy. She was extremely tall and skinny, and used her long hair to cover part of her face. She was very self-conscious of her appearance and used baggy clothes. There was something clearly wrong with her looks. So, that is not a person that would enjoy being the center of attention, unless you can magically repair her condition and turn her into a human alicorn. But this is the reason I believe your argument does not work. Because it involves a magical solution. One that doesn't have any application to real life, and that would change fluttershy's character to something other than what you perceive as "good". Another reason I think Magical Mystery Cure is a problematic episode.

I love the opening for Death Parade. Everything about it is amazing. This song speaks to my soul. -
I am self-destructive and antisocial by design. But I don't really hate people... probably because I don't have to deal with them.

general Could you be a body guard ?
They call me Loyalty replied to swordsman's topic in General Discussion
My body is frail. So, something involving theatrics would be a better fit for me. Since I have a tendency to surprise attack. I could be a jester-type character, then. About my loadout. A blade long enough to reach an artery is all I need. Something that I can wield like an extention of my own body. I've been thinking about the perfect knife for me, actually. Imagine a knife exclusively made for reverse grip, with an ergonomic handle that can be wielded in a clenched fist, and a blade shaped like a shark fang. That would be my ideal knife. Something that allows me to use my fists, and is intended for very close combat. Of course, this is in a game setting. Edit: Hahaha. Sorry, I meant tooth. I don't think sharks have fangs. But I started with a wolf. And it was very late in the night. Also, apparently, the knife already exists. It is called a skallywag tactical. Perfect for a mischievous rascal like myself. And there is actually a youtube video titled "The perfect knife?". -
That is the reason I would never give fluttershy such a responsibility. Especially, considering the social stresses involving diplomacy. She is not made for it. Too emotional. Meanwhile, twilight seems like the most logical choice. Perhaps, a bit too logical. It could be dangerous.... Twilight would need the emotional support of someone such as fluttershy. Meaning that fluttershy could do better as an advisor, instead.

Diablo II: Lord of Destruction Cinematic I always loved how Baal looks at his own nails, waiting for the echo to discipate. It is a shame the remaster didn't manage to capture his flamboyant and burlesque personality. -
Nothing. Because that food could be used for more noble purposes than feeding a dead man. Like building a giant monument made of food. Let's be honest here. Most people won't remember a dead criminal. But the food monument is something that is certain to leave a mark in history. Especially the ensuing rat infestation and plague that would result from it. Fear the rat God!!! Sounds damn epic, if you ask me. Damn... I wanna be a disciple of the rat god, now.

I am more concerned with the man under the clown. At least the one in the movie IT is a reliable monster. But with some people, you never know what to expect. That is the troubling part, isn't it? To know that the most scary monster is the one that makes us human. When your own face becomes the mask.

Is that the official map of Equestria? Damn... I would really like to go live there, and become. I don't know... a tree? I feel like a tree in real life, and it is actually nice. It can be beautiful. Sometimes at night, when there is no one else around. I go to the balcony and watch the leaves swaying gently under the breeze. And I imagine that she is there. I kid you not. There were these times I walked on the streets looking for her. And the closest approxiamte to her graceful beauty were the very trees. Especially, the jacaranda tree. There is one I can see from my window. It is flowering violet at it looks beautiful. Speaking of mass destruction! I think the rumbling should start from the Kingdom of Yakyakistan. Those savages need to die. Especially Yona. Then the hippogriffs. Wherever the hell they are. They need to go. Like, what is this gryphon knock-off? Really, you cannot have the best of two world. And finally, yes. Dragons! Just because it would be really epic to see a battle between titanic ponies and dragons. Also, violence makes me feel sick and confused. So, scrap all that. My dream is that the different races can co-exist in relative peace. So, I can watch over the land in the form of a tree. I only hope beavers aren't a thing in Equestria. Or termites, or fungus. Oh, no... Fluttershy. You have to protect her.

They call me Loyalty replied to Rift enchanted's topic in General Discussion
I feel for you. I really do. Well, I have to go sleep now. Tomorrow we are gonna go with my girlfriend to walk our golden retrievers, before the pre-party party. Damn, it feels good to be at home. Just kidding. I don't have a girlfriend, nor two golden retrievers. Not even one. But as my old friend Moses said. "Behold the brass serpent so that you may be healed from their bite". You see. You were bitten by a serpent. But now you can take comfort in the knowing that there is always someone who is doing worse. Do not worry. I am sure everything's gonna be alright, just like Moses used to sing. And you will be reunited with your beloved boyfriend and pet in no time. -

Leprechaun: In The Hood. I thought it was gonna be just a shitty movie about some aspiring rappers who steal a magic flute that instantly makes them famous. Yet this also awakens the wrath of the ruthless leprechaun who hides behind it. But it unironically turned out to be one of the most thought-provoking films I have seen in my life. Up there with other masterpieces like The Godfather Series, A Clockwork Orange and Triangle. Especially the part when the leprechaun gets high and starts to rap on the true meaning of life. It just clicked with me, and everything made sense. On so many levels. It was kind of amazing how the director managed to conceive a message so absurd, yet profound and touching. I felt jealous, yet humbled. I felt naked before the truth. And there was no place to hide for the first time in my life. -
Do you believe in hypnosis?
They call me Loyalty replied to Mesme Rize's topic in General Discussion
I've heard about hypno-therapists being able to regress patients and work on their past experiences. But I don't know. It seems like the kind of practice that would require mutual co-operation and much trust in order to work. But it is possible to enter a trance-like state of mind. And it can be dangerous sometimes. I've heard of people doing some crazy stuff. There was this hindu woman who ended her own life after claiming she was one of the deities from their pantheon. Scary. It is make-belief, honestly. I used to induced myself into altered states of mind, to deal with some real problems I have. But it was just a coping mechanism. A placebo of sorts. -
Welcome back. And may you repair your relationship.

I've been doing the same thing with... eh... kitten pictures and... not pron. And there has never been any problem with it. I just right click and then select "save image as". Not a single virus has ever found its way into my pc. Unless my family is using it, in which case they manage to get the worst stuff. I don't know how they do it. Also, I have the free version of Avast. The one with the weird-looking logo. Really, look it up. That sh*t looks weird. So, it is important to have an anti-virus, really. But it is more about the kind of sites you visit. Especially for those gun pictures. Still, I hope a more knowledgeable user can answer your question. So, if you pardon my ignorance.

Is X one of your favourite video games?
They call me Loyalty replied to StarburstRainbow's topic in Forum Games
Fallout is the short answer. I remember finding about it in a gaming magazine. It was a review on fallout 2, actually. I was instantly struck. That screenshot of the ranger's building in NCR is burned into my mind. So, I told my uncle. "We need to get fallout 1". I can still remember the first time playing it. I was twelve years old. But it feels like it was yesterday. Also, I had no effing clue about what was happening because the game was in english. So, as long as the npcs didn't turn hostile, I knew I was doing something right. Such an amazing experience. I play these games once a year with much devotion. There is even a fallout bible written by Chris Avellone, where you can find more about the lore behind these awesome post nuclear role playing games that gave origins to the modern fallout games most people know about, thanks to Bethesda. Then, I got fallout 2 on a game store. A much bigger sequel. Where you are tasked with saving your village. Of course, I didn't know what the hell was going on, either. And this game is BIG. So, I was unable to guesswork my way this time. Instead, I suggested it to a family member who had also played fallout 1. And I watched him complete fallout 2 like people watch youtubers now. But some years later, I was able to beat it myself. These games became my favourite rpgs of all time. I mean, I have a lot of favourites. But these are at the top. Then fallout tactics was released. Which I tactically avoided, because it was almost purely focused on the combat aspect. It wasn't until 2007-2008 that I heard the news about the upcoming fallout 3. I was so excited. Because fallout had been dead for a long time, already. Also, I never played the brotherhood of steel. So, I was there in line to get my copy for the xbox 360. It was incredible to see the wasteland in 3D. And bethesda did a good job. But there was something missing about it. Like a sequel to LotR written by a different author. So, I became disillusioned about the game, and never touched it again. In fact, I was so disillusioned that I didn't even touch fallout new vegas when it released in 2011. Because I was expecting another game in the same vein as fallout 3. Of course, I didn't realize how wrong I was until 2013-2014 when I first gave it a try. My god. NV became my fallout 3. And fallout 3 became... eh, fallout the themetic park edition. And don't get me wrong. Fallout 3 laid the foundation for New Vegas, and NV would not have been possible without Bethesda. Dude, fallout new vegas... so good. But then Fallout 4 was released in 2015! Which I have not played yet. But I will in time, despite the fact that I have spoiled myself with the criticism of many. And I actually agree with them. But I want to try it out. So, yeah. And that is all about the official fallout games, besides fallout 76, which shall not be named!!! But then there are the fan projects like The Frontier; a game made in the engine of New Vegas. That received a lot of criticism despite having some pretty spectacular set pieces, and vehicles. Yes, vehicles! Though, I haven't tried it myself. Or fallout New California, which I haven't tried either. And there is also Fallout Nevada. I love this total convertion as much as the first fallout games. It is made on the engine of Fallout 2, too! And finally. Fallout Sonora. A fallout game set in Mexico with a ton of original assets. I have it with an english machine translation. But I am waiting out because there was a dlc announced, and I want the full experience. Also, special mention to The Sum. An anarchist art project type game made in the engine of Fallout Tactics, that got government funding! Fallout 1.5 Resurrection, set between fallout 1 and 2, where you play as an amnesiac being hunted down by his own past. And... project Olympus. Not based on fallout, I believe. Also, Fallout Yesterday. Based on project van buren. And many more mods and fan projects that are awesome. Including fallout London. And fallout 4: New Vegas. Which I will play when it comes out in 2038. So, yeah. Fallout. I love it. -
That is so awesome. The show does bring me back, too. Welcome to the forums!
